Great for school. My daughter is so happy with this bag.

I love this backpack! It's super cute in the dark gray with black and gold accents. It's a little smaller than I wanted but not a problem. I can fit my laptop, charger, wallet etc., plus workout clothes for the gym. Pretty tight once I have all of that in there but can't complain. Just what I needed!

This bag is exactly what I was looking for! This has such large capacity considering that this is one liter less than the their Jester model, but this holds everything that I need it to hold. To begin, I am a student carrying books, netbooks, folders and my laptop around campus, I am also a year to year traveler. So I need something that will hold up for light traveling and school round supplies. This backpack has two larger compartments, a small compartment and then even smaller sections to store smaller things like headphones, chargers, etc. My Jester just has a main compartment, one medium size compartment that is narrower than the borealis and in the main compartment it has this small sections. The Borealis was something I purchased thinking that I wanted something wider, large capacity, comfortable, and waterproof. So far this bag achieve's everything in my list of features necessary for a good backpack. Unlike my jester which didn't make the cut for me. It's not that the jester is bad, but it could be much better if they developed a better design. Overall I have hd this backpack for 3 days and it has helped me more than my Jester ever can.

Replaced Tumi briefcase and much easier through airports

North Face has yet again designed and created another fantastic product. The borealis backpack is nothing short of a hiker or everyday traveler's dream. This bag not only aids with the transport of many modern and valuable items (laptop, hiking gear, hydration for the trip etc.) but it also leaves you utterly free from any constraints while providing enough support and weight distribution to keep you engaged in the journey ahead. This bag is constantly impressing me by being so versatile. You can take it on an epic adventure or simply pack up for a class on campus at 8am. This bag proves to be the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow because it is durable.The borealis backpack has been built to last. It is certainly worthy of attention and admiration and I believe that many people will be able to find enjoyment in this product. In my eyes, it needs no further improvement. I would gladly purchase this product over and over again in the future.

I purchased this for my grandson who is a junior in college. He picked it out and was very happy with it. It has a compartment to carry a laptop so it's perfect for college

I've been wearing this backpack to school and it's perfect, it holds everything I need. I also love the bunjee cord straps on the outside, perfect for holding my climbing gear on days when it's not rainy!

This backpack is perfect for my daughter's needs. She is using it for school and the quality is above par. The stitching around the edges is sturdy and tight, the space she needs for her books is excellent, along with the small pockets/zippered areas for smaller items. The shoulder straps do not dig into her shoulders like some of her past backpacks have. We keep coming back and North Face never disappoints.

I got this backpack for a hiking trip up the PNW to Canada and its been perfect. Super spacious for travelling and also comfortable on rigorous hikes!

I'm in nursing school and this is the third backpack I've had, and it's by far the best. Every day I carry at least 2 text books weighing at least 10 lb each sometimes more, a binder, thick notebook, clipboard, pencil pouch, wallet, and occasionally a small laptop but it feels like I'm carrying a 5 lb baby on my back. The weight distribution and padding is wonderful and it's definitely worth the money. Although I wish it was made in the USA.

I'm a high school senior & this cost a week's worth of work, so this was a big purchase for me. I HAVE NO REGRETS, THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST BACKPACK EVER! 1. It's not ugly like other heavy-duty backpacks, it actually looks good (like really good). 2. It's durable. 3. It holds all my stuff (unlike any other backpack ever). I'm definitely using this over the next 5 years, this thing rocks.

This backpack has a ton of pockets that are cleverly organized that allow me to fit everything I need for my classes in a specific spot. It is very durable. I'm a nursing student so durability is a big plus with all of my heavy books!! Super stylish too!

Perfect size backpack for the airplane as it fits under the seat in front of you. The water bottle pockets on the side are great for outdoor activities and the bungee cord is helpful for when you need to shed a layer.

I use this for my work stuff and caring my computer.

I use this product for skill and not only do I get compliments on the looks but the backpack it self feels great !!!! Would definitely recommend ! Best bookbag on the market!
