I haven't yet used this product, but I plan to as soon as the school year resumes after Christmas break. I have already put things into the backpack, and I love each of the individual compartments inside the backpack, as well as the comfort it provides on my back. I have no complaints thus far!

Daughter walks about 5 miles a day, from class to class & back to home for college. This backpack works great!

My daughter was heading into high school and due to her age and knowing everything, I alowed her to purchase a competitors product and endured listening to the whining until I gave her a REAL backpack from NF for Christmas. In her school colors no less. Needless to say, she is thrilled, already packed her stuff in her new backpack and is ready for the bell to ring in January.

This was exactly what my son-in-law needed. Great compartments. Good padding. Good size. Even better was the North Face customer service when I placed my order. I was having a challenge finding this in stock anywhere. Customer service went above and beyond to see that they found it and it arrived before Christmas.

My 17 year old son had one of these backpacks for 4 years. He was so disappointed when one of the zippers gave out, (just a note here, the zipper didn't give out because of any weakness or defect, more that it was overloaded for the millionth time), that I bought him another for Christmas this year. This backpack is tough and has withstood 4 years of almost daily use. My son has used it for middle and high school, heavy loads of books. He also uses it for hiking, cycling,and he travels with it on airlines, it fits nicely under seat. The backpack pretty much has done it all and gone everywhere with my son. He's really pushed it's wearability to it's limits and I have been impressed that it lasted as long as it did. This backpack could last you a long time! backpacks normally last my son about 6 months, I don't mind paying the extra dollars for this backpack as it can stand up to the life of a busy adventurous teenager.

It's qualities are amazing! I can use it for hiking , biking, college and organizing my things. I'm sure my laptop is super comfy in its cozy space.
