I love this backpack for school. It's extremely durable and I have a lot of space for my books and my laptop and iPad (which both have special compartments). I use this for school travel and it has a simple design that matches a lot of things, it's very practical and it may be a little pricey but it's worth the cost!

I got this backpack for the 2015 fall school year. However, I got the chance to use it during a summer camp and it was great! I like this design much better than the newer Borealis one. The laptop space was able to fit my 13" Macbook Pro in a Kate Spade padded laptop sleeve which is great! The main compartment (that also houses the laptop) doesn't have as much room as I hoped, but it looks to fit at least one big book with maybe some folders or a notebook. I know for sure that a binder, two notebooks, and a folder fit comfortably in there. The front zipper compartment is good a calculators and pencils/pens. I keep my personal items in the very front/tiny zipper pouch. I can't wait to monogram it! This style and the color selection seem geared towards the male gender, but all black is very neutral.

This backpack is perfect for school use. It has a lot of support and does not cause my back and shoulders to hurt after a long day at school. It holds books well and the laptop pocket is very convenient. The pockets on the side are very nice for holding water bottles, etc. Overall, this is a very good backpack.
