The ankle area has too much moving room, causing chaffing on the heel area. My skin became completely raw and blistered. I do not recommend.

I tried these hiking boots at home for about 5 min, they felt super comfortable. However, I went on a hike and got blisters on both ankles, the material on the back of the shoe is stiff and irritated my skin. I do not recommend them. I'm stuck with a useless pair of boots!

Felt at least a full size small, if not a size and a half small. If that is true of the brand, it explains why my son refused to wear his Hi-tec boots last year after the first wearing...

I wear an 8W normally in most brands and this 8W is a bit too narrow. The real problem I had with this boot is that the right boot arrived with the lining wrinkled across the little toes and hurt to even put it on. I returned it as defective.

For hiking boots, these are the bottom of the line. They have no arch support and feel like they roll my toes upward. And that’s just sitting with them on. If you want to LOOK like you’re hiking, they might be fine. But if you want to actually HIKE, skip these. Pay a few more dollars for something that’s really going to keep you comfortable and safe. Even though I ordered a wide, these felt VERY narrow, even going up a whole size in length. My regular size 9 was way too small all around. The 10 was too narrow and had that weird cup shaped feel to the foot-bed. Yuck. These are definitely not for me!
