I have other Keens and love them. These are the most uncomfortable shoes. I bought them to wear to Europe and have been trying to break them in. They're breaking me in. After wearing them a few hours at a time, my toes are extremely painful!

This shoe is so much cuter in the picture! The real shoe is very long from the tongue to the back of the shoe (opening is huge, providing no support to the ankle). Might not be a problem if you have a smaller shoe size than my 9.5. The stitching on the left shoe is crooked making it pull across my big toe. Defect? I have wide feet and the fit was fine there. I ordered a 9.5 instead of a 9 due to reviews. I had high hopes for this shoe. Not the quality like other Keens. Maybe that's why I couldn't find them in stores? They are going back.

So many reviews rave about this darling tennis shoe, so much so that I bought them and I bought them in my usual tennis shoe size of 9.5. However, I cannot wear a sock with them, not even a very thin sock. So, I feel they run small. That's not a big deal, because I could simply exchange them for a 10 and they'd probably be okay. But what's really wrong with these "oh so cute shoes" is that the soles are really, really thin and lumpy and hurt, hurt, hurt my feet. Just wearing them around the house for a few minutes, they hurt! There's absolutely no way I could wear them even as long as it would take to drive to the grocery store...I would be in agony. I tried buying cushion insert pads and cut them to fit, but it made the shoes way too small. So, I'm trying to decide whether to exchange them for a half size larger (10) and see if the cushioned insert pad would make the shoe wearable or not. Or, just return them for a refund. Decisions, decisions. I might exchange them and try it because they are so darn cute!

Pros: Cute, unique shoe, a step up from sneakers. Nice, wide toe box. Lightweight. Cons: A shoe this expensive should have a removable insole. If you need orthotics, order up and put them on top of the insole. The arch support is minimal due to the narrow foot bed. The sole of the shoe is more narrow than most Keens, so that my instep "fell over" the side of the shoe, giving me very little support and causing discomfort. It feels like the shoe is too wide for the sole. I wouldn't recommend this shoe if your feet pronate.

I have a pair of Grey with Orange trim Keen CNX trail shoes that have been looking worn. I do not think they are made anymore. I liked the feel, but they were a tiny bit short (10). I wanted a replacement that was a little nicer and more fashionable. So, I picked these in black in 11. The silver threads were too flashy and the 11s were way, way too big. They felt a bit clownish. I returned them.

Lightweight and comfortable from the top, but the inside of the shoe didn't have enough padding for me. It seemed as though I was walking on firm bumps.

These looked so cute in the picture so I ordered the black. They arrived today and they were shiny/glittery. :/ The part that looks gray in the photo. They looked so tacky so I'm sending them back.

Returning - no arch support. Not as comfortable as Keens I've had before. Too expensive for the quality.

Awful. The insole does not cover the full width of the shoe which made it very uncomfortable. I also thought the shoe was quite ugly. Now I'm not opposed to ugly if they fit and are comfy, but this shoe has nothing going for it.

Love the fit of these cute shoes! However, this is my second pair and I am returning them. The eyelets where the laces go through pulled away from the material of the shoe after wearing them 3 - 4 times. They looked like I had had them for years rather than weeks :(

Pure, unadulterated junk! For years, I've only worn Keen shoes - no other brand, and I've never been disappointed in Keens before. That said, these shoes were extremely poorly made. They were a full size off in length, they were off in width, they were full of lumps and bumps and hanging threads and huge gathered puckers, and they were curved in an odd kind of half-circle that no foot on earth could reasonably be expected to wear. I was shocked, having never before seen a pair of poorly made keen shoes. A friend was here and, liking the general style, she wanted to try them so I gave them to her. She called me the next day and said that she had tried to wear them but wound up throwing them in the trash because they tried to bend her feet into that weird half-circle and she wound up with blistered, aching feet in just a couple of hours of mostly sitting. I don't know how these shoes got manufactured so poorly or how they ever passed inspection. They will NOT burn me on the Keen brand, though. Keens, in general, have kept my feet happy for many years.
I'd also recommend:
This pair were "lemons" but Keen is still the only brand I reccommend.

What an odd shoe this is. There’s no structure to it, it looked and felt kind of squishy and blobby. It’s cut very low, well below my ankle bone and I felt like it could fall off at any time.

I have 3 pairs of these shoes from several years ago and ordered these in the tan color to replace a pair that are just too smelly to wear anymore. They arrived in a different box without the normal packaging so I assume they were at least tried by someone else which is fine. But they felt funny-the left shoe made my foot lean out and on both, the suede looked worn. I tried walking in them in the house but the left shoe just didnt feel right. As always, returns are easy. Not sure I want to try again. I wish Keen wouldn't stop making the shoes I really like.

Being told my old knees would need to be replaced by shiny new ones was bad enough, but then to be told I should be wearing "rubber-soled shoes with laces" in case my knee collapsed... So I went looking for said shoes, preferable not white vinyl with Velcro closings. I have many pairs of Keens but finding a pair to wear around the house was challenging so I went to my Expert In All Things, Especially Keens-my daughter. Finally I found these and they're just what I need. I would like to see colors other than black or brown, so the teal will do for now. Perfection, EXCEPT for the mile-long laces! What gives? Overall, Keen comes through again.

I had heard such great things about Keens and was hoping that I could wear these shoes all day at work and not have my plantar fasciitis flare up and my feet hurting at the end of the day. I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet a lot, and these shoes did nothing for me. I knew they didn't look the most stylish, and I was willing to overlook that for comfort. There is no support and very little padding for the feet. The laces guide on the tongue is also too high and creates a weird gap in the lace pattern. The only positives I can find are they were wide enough for even my feet, and they are light and cool. I am deeply disappointed and out a considerable amount of money for shoes which are a complete miss.

I ordered these shoes in early June '18, and they did not resemble those in the pictures. They actually seemed to be of really bad quality: The suede was not beige or gray; it was patchy mustard yellow. The mesh, that looks off-white in the pictures, was shiny metallic. I returned them, because they were pretty disappointing. I wonder if these shoes USED to look like the pictures and the newer ones came along, and the pictures were not updated.

The soles of these shoes were so slippery that I felt like I was on skates. I tried to clean the soles thinking that some manufacturing quirk resulted in the soles being extremely slippery. The scrubbing helped somewhat, but not near enough. I can't rate the shoes otherwise.

In the past, I have been very happy with this brand.

I normally wear a size 9 and ordered a half size up and these were so tight and uncomfortable. Did not really feel that they had much support either. Very attractive shoe, just not very comfortable at all.
