Great shoe. My son has special needs and sensory issues, these are comfortable and lightweight. Last all year and never smell (odor blocking green-tea in soles.) Our favorite sneakers!

Very high quality shoe. does run about 1/2 size bigger. But shoe is very nice. My son loves Tsukihoshi shoes especially with the velcro. The velcro on this shoe is strong and not cheap like in other shoes. I highly recommend it.

My grandson has always loved this brand. They fit well and offer many attractive fashion statements (boys like to be cool, too!). The latest, the Velocity, were a big hit right out of the box. The boy could not be happier with a pair of shoes.

Returned. Fit in length but too wide in heel and toe box. Kiddo could have walked right out of them.

My 8 year old hates tying his shoes and so we found these and decided to try them. Overall they are nicely made and I love the styles/color choices this brand offers. However, we found the sizing did not work for us, at least on this style. Since it was our first time ordering, we went with his normal size. It was huge. So, we sent it back and ordered a half size down as others reviewers have suggested. This fixed the length issue for us, but they were still too wide, especially in the heel area. If your child has wider feet, these would be great shoes (in a half size down). For us, we had to move on to the Saucony's. Will perhaps give these another try in a different style at some point.

My son loves them. They are holding up well for summer.

My daughter has a rare bone-growth disorder which causes wide feet and a big toe that curves outward a bit. It was always a struggle buying shoes for her until we found Tsukihoshis. This is about our 10th pair! They are flexible, stretchy, and machine-washable. Love these shoes. Worth the price.

Be sure to check the European sizing for this one! They run about 2 full sizes smaller from cm to US than usual. Usually a US 3.5 is 21.9 cm per the Zappos conversion chart. The shoe listed as US 3.5 are also listed as 23.5 cm, which is the equivalent of a US 5.5.

Run extremely large. The description says to order a half size down but I’d recommend 1-1.5 sizes smaller!

My son found these shoes comfortable but they did not hold up to wear compared to other brands. His previous sneakers lasted at least 6 months but these are falling apart after 3 months of typical wear. Not worth the price.

My grandson said that they did not feel comfortable as they were loose.

The shoes started falling apart after a couple of weeks. Very strange - we have been buying this brand for years, and have never had a problem. At this price, you just don't expect the front of the shoe to peel off after minimal wear.

Great looking but sizing was WAY off. These said big kid 7 and they were more like a big kid 8.5. Might try a 5.5 because they are great looking.

This shoe is not sized correctly. My son wears a 7 in almost all boys shoes. I bought him a 6.5 in this one after reading the reviews. To give you a sense of how big it was, I wear a size 10, and when I took this pair out of the box, they looked so big I tried them on, and I still had room at the end of them :) So they are quite big. I am not even sure what size to replace them with. But it's a nice shoe and he has worn this style before.

Super cute shoes! My son loved them but the sizing is MUCH larger than other kids sneakers. By my estimate they run a full size larger. Would be great for wide feet though.

The toe covering start to peel off both shoes after 1 month of use. I'm sending them back.

My son is really active. He has worn these shoes for 2 weeks and already the top grey mesh is worn thin in one spot. Who knows how he did that! Otherwise, he says he feel great. I sometimes wish we could get the top velcro a little tighter. I suppose if he had a wide ankle they would be really good.

We normally love Tsukihoshis, but the sole fell apart after less than 2 months of wear on these. I can't justify buying more if they're only going to last 1.5 months. Will try another style or brand in the future.

The shoe is good for thick, sort of wide feet They run almost a full size larger. I wear a 6.5 to 7 women's, but women's are usually too narrow for me, and ordered these in a 6.5 and they are too large. Kids shoes are wider and have a higher toe box, which I need. This shoe has more cushioning in the sole, something often lacking in kids shoes. The shoe had a chemical smell which probably will dissipate over time.

Great brand but this specific shoe felt apart in less than a month. As always, Zappo's Customer Service made it right. Bought the Storm model. Solid shoe for an active kid!
