I love these! My son is 9 with a size 5 foot and he is on the spectrum...tying his shoes is not a strong suit. I was so happy to be able to find a pair of sneakers that looked like "big boy" sneakers that didn't need to be tied. This is our second pair. So relieved they make them in the larger sizes.

Despite the many holes, my soon to be 10-year old son refused to let go of his old pair until the new ones arrived. They just arrived just in time for his birthday party. When I suggested that we throw the old pair away, his response was, "No. We should keep them in case of emergency. Also, I like to look at them." Thanks for making great shoes that my son loves.

My son is 8 yrs old and has a high instep and wide feet. He's been using mostly Tsukihoshi shoes since he was 3 yrs old. He currently owns 2 pairs of Mako H&L 2, which are soft, flexible and can be thrown in the washer. Both pairs look pretty worn, so I decided to try the Youth Velocity, the Storm and the Youth Storm. We loved the Velocity and are definitely keeping it, but the 2 Storms are going back. My son said they were uncomfortable. The Youth Velocity seems sturdier and has better support than the Mako, so we are probably going to get another pair in a different color. I am attaching 2 pictures with the 2 Mako and Velocity side by side. Velocity is the one on the right.

My son has been wearing these sneakers for the last 5 years. Our friend, the sneaker connoisseur, told us about them and they're great. He says they're very comfortable and wears them whenever he can. It's great that it looks like it ties but it's still just a velcro. Yes, he's 9 but still does not like tying things. We're going to keep getting these shoes until he runs out of sizes.

My son will only wear Tsukihoshi brand shoes. He has been wearing this brand for several years. They do run a bit big - one half to one full size depending on the style. My son generally wears a size 5 (big kids); I ordered a 4.5 in this style and they fit perfectly.

I was disappointed with these. They only last a total of 4 months of being worn 2 times a week before they started falling apart at the toe.

My kiddo loves tsukihoshis and these didn’t disappoint. He loves the rainbow color palette and rounded toe.

The shoes are great! My daughter loves the colors and she is ready to run in them. I have found this brand to be very durable and light weight.

My son loves these sneakers! They’re light weight but sturdy and hold up really well. The only thing I will say is that they run big (prob 1/2 size full size big) and are definitely wider

My son loves these, they run quite large, so we are keeping them so he can grow into them.

Like most Tsukihoshi, these for a W foot very well. Shoe runs a while size larger, so a Kids 5 fit like a Kids 6. Very lightweight & comfortable.

Son loves them, wears them every day.

Grandson is the pickiest 4 yr old in the universe AND he loves theses sneaks!

This shoes are great: breathable light with arch support and easy to put on fast…I took one star since they are not as fancy looking as other sneakers however my son still prefer them and rest are on the shelf

My son is on the autism spectrum and super picky about all clothing and shoes. He liked these. That basically says it all. They lasted us a full year (age 11.5 - age 12.5) and I'm about to order the next size up for him to use this coming year.

So sad that my son will have sized out of these shoes. He's been wearing Tsukihoshi sneakers since he was for four based on a recommendation of friends with older boys. They're comfortable and easy to get on as he's too lazy to tie shoes. I always get two pairs at once as these are almost all he wears.

These are well-made and nice-looking shoes for my 11-year old.

This brand runs big - my son is in a 3 for all other shoes and the 2.5 fits him great in this brand. We like the tongue of the shoe is stitched to one side so it doesn't get lost or in the way when he's putting the shoe on, and they are machine washable!

Cool shoe. Son loves them. Made well.

my grandson loves these shoes. The shoes fit to size. This is the only brand shoes he wears.

My 11 year old son has been wearing these pretty much every day since winter ended and we switched from low rise boots to sneakers. Easy to put on and take off, comfortable, allow him to run, climb, hike and all the things boys do in shoes! Would purchase again next year. My son has wide feet, and these were perfect in a "regular" width.

MY son loves these gym shoes. These are his second pair- he requested the same color in red blue and silver. They run a half size big.
