I had high hope for this shoe. I like the design, love the green color choice, appreciated the open venting and the waterproofing. Everything I wanted in a shoe. BUT...it is too small. I wear an 11 so there is no place to go but returns. My toes brush the end of the shoe without wearing socks. If you have smaller feet, you will like this shoe.

Like the sturdy structure of shoe and offers more protection than others in same category. Had to return first order and get half size bigger which are now a touch on the big size.

Merrell has changed the all out blaze sieve each year, it seems. Wish I’d pulled the trigger on last year’s model. This is much more shoe than sandal, and last year’s seemed like a perfect hybrid.

No arch support. Wish some of these sandals had true arch support because you can't put an orthotic in it that will stay put. Loved the look, loved the color. Ordered a 9, then a 9 1/2, too tight, very uncomfortable. I would have ordered a 10 but then the toe box would have been too wide.

I have a pair of Merrell All Out Blaze shoes in a different style and they're some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The All Out Blaze Sieve looked like the perfect summer walking shoe. Unfortunately on the AOB Sieve shoes the tongue of the shoe is one piece with the shoe, it cannot be lifted, or the laces loosened to make it easier to put the shoe on. These shoes will not go on over my high arch! I gave them three stars because they appear to have Merrell's usual quality, it looks as if they have the same insole as my comfortable AOB Merrells, but the tongue is a serious design flaw. I can't comment on the comfort, because I can't put them on, and yes they're my regular size. The style looks good for the trails I like to walk, with a sturdy outsole, and great ventilation. Sadly they must be returned.

Super cute shoe and I loved that they were sandals and would be perfect for hiking around falls etc. Unfortunately, they just didn’t work for me. I don’t have especially wide feet but I do have flat arches and these shoes were just too narrow for me. Both the sole and the canvas were too tight at my arches and the edge of the ball of my foot was riding the outer seam.

I usually consider Merrell's as my 'go to' brand, as the fit works 100% of the time. I have not tried these sandals on wet rocks yet, so I can't speak to their traction. They are replacing my Keen Clearwaters, which are several ounces lighter and loved beyond repair by my puppy. I thought I was replacing sandals with sandals, but this is clearly a shoe - with a few aeration holes which I'm not sure do much (or maybe those holes are for the water...). Positives: color (grey and purple), fit Negatives: a neoprene like fit hugs your foot and it gets hot and sweaty just walking around. The minus to my airy Keens was that they eventually developed a mildew odor I could not get rid of. I am concerned this will happen sooner with overtly sweaty feet in this shoe.

I love Merrell shoes, and own several pairs, so I was excited about getting this shoe. I have had these for about 5 months, and have worn them for several different hiking/camping trips along with normal wear around the house, and here is what I find. First, the pros: Very comfortable out of the box when walking on regular dry land. They dry off quickly, and do not feel like a ton of bricks when wet. Now the cons: They do not have good traction on wet rocks, and after several slips I put my Merrell hiking boots back on, and was fine. After wearing for several hours of just basic wear around the house and errands, my feet are sweaty and feel like they need to breathe, which is ironic because they have the holes for ventilation. For the price of these shoes (full price) I am very disappointed in their performance

The shoe fit, however, the arch was not in the correct place for my foot. The last was too short and the shoe tipped me backwards. I need a more sturdy shoe for walking.

I really wanted these to fit. I had a pair of Merrill Jungle Mocs this winter that were so supportive. I lived in them. The sandal however has zero Achilles's tendon support. The flimsy back elastic fabric just isn't stable enough for me.

I love the style of these but i normally wear a 9 and I had to upsize to a 10 to get my toes to not rub. Then they were a bit sloppy in the width. Just not comfortable enough for me.

They just look too much like generic work shoes in this color. I LOVE my teal green ones. They even work with skirts. I so wish they were still available.

I bought a pair of these to replace a pair of Keens that I have had for ages. I've owned them for a month now and when I wear them for any length of time a blister starts to form on the top of my left little toe. So disappointed.

These fit well, but that is where it stops. They do not give the comfort I've experienced with other Merrell shoes over the years. The arch is almost flat. There is no insole. They are not comfortable to be on your feet for more than a very short periods. I really miss the chameleon arc sandals. Wish they would come back.

Went back. Too short by one half size and very light, so comfy padding was missing. I could not even recommend these for fast walking.

This sandal did not work for me. It has little or no arch support as in the Qform. I have a back issue and without the support it's not for me. I liked everything else about it though.

Way too hot, too much plastic. I tried to wear hiking in Hawaii and my feet were on fire. Had to take them off

They were comfortable at first but more later my feet hurts. They are light weight but the sole don't have arch support. I have to return it.

I am an AT section hiker and was disappointed. . It's material soaks up the water and takes a long time to dry out thus adding weight. It did not repel water Also when it gets wet it stretches. Crossing a stream and securing footing come out of the stream to an incline is not good because the wet material stretches causing foot play. Had to take them off to continue to hike out of the stream bed

This shoe was a reorder for another pair of Merrell shoes that did not fit properly. I typically wear a size six across the board and just to be certain, I followed the sizing chart. According to that, a six should have fit fine with room to spare. Unfortunately, it didn't and they are too short in the toes. Now I am stuck with an expensive pair of shoes I can't wear out of the house. Please update your sizing chart to reflect this!!

Have been considering the Sieve but after reading several reviews am disappointed that the arch support is poor. Merrell recommended the Maipo as a substitute but the style is completely different. I am looking for the airy version of a Siren Sport.
