Bought these for my 14 year old daughter for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. She chose these Merrell's over the similarly styled Keen's. She liked that these were lighter and provided more toe coverage. My son felt the same about the men's version of this sandal shoe.

Love these shoes; I have three pairs now: one for water exercise, one for land exercise, and one for the garden. They fit my feet just perfectly, and even the pool ones are holding up really well. I've worn Merrell shoes for years, and I've always been pleased with them.

This is a tough, comfortable shoe that you'll want to wear walking along the shore, hiking in the hills or running out to the store.

You must purchase these! Awesome shoes. So incredibly comfortable, did not need any "break in" time. I found the shoe true to size, and I found them to be more comfortable than their common Keen counterpart. I wore them all weekend during a recent visit to Vancouver, and despite the rain and openings on the side of the shoe, my feet stayed surprisingly dry! I highly recommend this shoe. I'm going to save up for another color, they're that comfortable/practical!

Ordered these before a trip to Hawaii and they were perfect! Comfortable right out of the box. Wore them for travel, hiking, protecting feet from rocks/reef in ocean, and hiking over/swimming in lava formations. Excellent grip and dried quickly, even after submerged for swimming. So comfortable that hubby says they'll replace his Birks as his go-to shoes, and I think I agree!

Super comfortable, providing enough support and padding that they can be worn all day. Good construction and excellent in water, as well as gym, hiking and biking! Comfortable straight out of the box ! I have a bunion and these don't hurt at all. I can wear them all day. They fit very well and you can tighten/loosen easily. Plenty of room for your toes. Feels supportive. Many thanks Merrell, yet again, and Zappos for your stellar service.

I've been wanting these since I first saw them a few weeks ago. they are SO comfortable! I don't even need to "break them in" as they fit so well!

I wore this on my trip to Costa Rica. I wore them in the rainy rain forest and in the drier parts of the country on a hike and walk on the beach. These shoes worked out perfectly.

The fabric was soft and pliable, making it easy to tighten over my narrow midfoot while keeping the toebox wide. Moderate support, flexible sole, the heel felt low rather like the original Earth shoe. I had tried on a couple Keen styles, but their soles were too rigid. the Merrells are perfect for combined beach and trail walking, not too rugged. I've never worn anything neoprene: the uppers and the insole have an odd sticky feel I decided to get used to because the shoes are so comfortable walking, almost like barefoot but better with some support and good protection. Not sure if they run small, or my feet have just aged into a bigger size!

I live in the desert and wanted something more than a sandal and less than a hiking boot. Since my absolute favorite hiking boots are my Merrells, I tried these. They are just right (a bit more arch support would make them even better). Delivery to my remote home and the assurance that I could return them makes it easy to try something different.
