I Love these shoes! So easy to slip on, the neopreme material they are made out of is very comfortable. I bought a second pair for my sister's big birthday present. She loves them too!

This shoe is so comfortable. I tried it on in a store and the 8.5 was a perfect fit. I am normally an 8. My daughter also had to go up half a size. The only problem is when i received the shoes, the right foot felt too small. My toe was jammed up to the end. So I am ordering another 8.5 hoping I just got a bad shoe, and a 9 just incase. BTW, I also tried a keen and did not prefer it. This shoe is more snug and padded and soft and looks better on my foot.

Bought these Sandler’s for my 13 year old girl n an 8.5. Her feet have changed over the year and I can’t quite tell if she is an 8,8.5 or 9. Shoes can differ so much. She liked these for the comfort although I thought the keens ( Whisper size 9) were better looking. She also tried a few Tevas in size 8.5 but they were too small.

I have previously purchased similar Merrell shoes in size 8 and 8 1/2. I ordered these in both of those sizes but both are too small.

I have other Merrell shoes that are similar but much older. They are size 8 but this size 8 shoe is too small. Otherwise a good look.

Bought the brown last year. I wore them a lot and they are showing it. Pros: easy to pack, water repellant, and fairly comfortable. Cons: the back pushes your foot forward, jamming toes into the end. I have a high instep and the tops of my feet get sore. Even if you let out the elastic laces it doesn't matter. The top is stretchy but not nearly enough. The laces do nothing, really. I did consider buying another pair in a different color this year but decided to find something else.

It's a nice shoe and comfortable. For me it runs 1/2 size smaller because I kept smashing my main toes. I would like to have a little bit more heel but that is just my point of view. I'm reconsidering a 1/2 size larger unless I find something better.

Unfortunately, I must return this shoe. Merrell toe box is just too short for my foot shape. The padding in the back of the foot was awesome.

Color was bright but not overpowering - very cute. Size was perfect and overall the shoe was extremely comfortable. The only bad thing was that my heels just didn't fit/sit right in the molded heel cup. It felt 'off' and uncomfortable when I tried the shoes on and walked across the room. I could not adjust to fit snugly on my heels or the backs of my ankles, and a larger size would have been too big everywhere else. Definitely recommend the shoe, just wasn't quite right for me. Seemed very durable and breathable.

Good looking shoe, seemed to run a bit small in terms of length. Good grip, was not as generous in arch support. I ended up returning due to the adjustment not being as precise as I'd prefer - when you pull the quick-adjust, it does seem to really put most of the pressure on the top of the foot instead of evenly around the foot. This would probably lessen with time and break-in of the shoe, but I wasn't sure enough or in need enough of new hiking sandals to keep them at this time. I also tried Keen and Teva "hiking" style sandals, and preferred these quite a bit in terms of looks and our of the box comfort.

Was hoping these would function as an amphibious water and hiking shoe, for hikes across streams, paddling, etc. These seemed well made, and the Vibram sole seemed fantastic. However, they were too small and tight in my normal size 7. Furthermore, the branding silhouette in the footbed was sharp and uncomfortable (and I don't have particularly sensitive heels). I also just wasn't convinced that small rocks picked up in the water would flow out the small side holes, so I decided to return and not try a larger size.

Got these to try - Pretty comfortable overall, but did feel they ran a bit small. Reordering a half size up to see where we're at, but didn't notice any overt discomfort with the seams as others reported.

Took these out of the box, put them on, and went for a long walk in them shortly after, forgetting I was wearing brand new shoes (sockless, no less). I never even noticed them. They fit perfectly, and not a whisper of friction or pinching on my bare skin. The color is prettier than in the photo, even. Brighter. I love these. The only thing that brought them down to 4 stars is, they're not all that cool (as in temperature). It's only May, but I can already tell that my feet will sweat in them without socks on, once it gets any warmer out. Still, I love these for their comfort and sturdiness, and looks.

I bought these from another retailer. I typically wear a size 9.5 W (I also have a high arch) and found a pair in a store that were a size 11 and they almost fit me perfectly. They were also the same length as my 9.5 shoes. I finally found a 10.5 and they fit me perfectly. Bizarre. I like the style of this shoe because its not bulky looking.

This would be a great sandal for hiking and walking, on rocks or in water. It was comfortable and sturdy, and it was true to size. If that's what you're looking fore, this shoe is the best I tried. My problem is that the covered toe rubbed across the top of my little toes, and left them red and irritated. They would be great for short hikes or in the water, but I'm looking for something for all day hiking, in and out of water. Sadly, I had to return them.

The sizing is completely off-- I'm usually a 7 or 7.5 but my toes hit the end of the 7.5! I really wanted this type of shoe so I kept trying and got an 8. I'm hoping this will do!

I bought 3 prs of amphibious hiking/walking shoes. Merrell All Out Blaze Sieve, Choco Evo Outcross Free, and Ahnu Tilden V. The Merrells weren't quite supportive enough, as I like a lot of arch support. Also, the part around the back of the heel did tend to push my foot forward a little, causing my toes to hit the end even though the actual length was correct. I would still recommend trying them, as they were comfortable, and I have several Merrells that I like. The Chacos looked so light and minimal, I was hoping to love them. But the neoprene kept rolling in on itself around the ankle which was unworkable for me. Great footbed, though with arch support galore. Finally, the Ahnus: I'm keeping these! Great foodbed, not too constricting around the top, no irritating rough spots inside, adjustable heelstrap, and great looking, to boot! Of course, all amphibious shoes make your feet sweat when it's hot outside, no matter how ventilated they are, so I can't complain about that!

I'm surprised that no one else thought these shoes were too big! I normally wear a size 5, but size 5 in these is much too big for me. Merrells just never seem to fit me. My son has the same issues with Merrell, but at least with him, we can size down. I'll have to stick with Clarks!

This is my 3rd brand of this type of walking shoe & these are the best. Not too wide & a decent arch. The 81/2 too short & the 9 wider but I was able to put an insole in & now their perfect! Thanks, Merrell!

Great color and comfortable from the minute you put it on. A better tab in the back would aid in getting the shoe on, but it has enough stretchy resilience to allow you to get your fingers in the back and pull it on.

I usually wear 9 1/2 in dress shoes and 10 in athletic shoes. Ordered 10's and my toes hit the end. Otherwise a great shoe, I wish I could have kept.

Overall I am very happy with my product. It is light weight, provides great grip, and provides foot coverage while still allowing ventilation. I also love how it is so easy to slip on and off; I wear it every day pretty much. The only thing I wish it had more of was arch support. I recently took a trip to DC and my arches were sore (could be due to walking everywhere all day and only sitting when catching a subway)

These are very comfortable hiking-water shoes with colors/style exactly as pictured. I broke these in (with socks) hiking two hours up to a waterfall. I was impressed with traction, grip and comfort. No blisters or sore feet after. My only complaint is that when I first put on the shoes my toes hit the front. I was initially worried that the shoes would be too small but during the hike the sensation went away. My guess is the elastic in the back helped to settle in to the shoe. In sum, would say they are true to size and would definitely recommend them.
