I really loved the look of these shoes, and they are very lightweight. The fit of these shoes was perfect for length and the toe box was okay for width, but the section under the arch to the heel was so narrow! The sides of my feet at the arch were way over the edge of the shoe. I was so disappointed I had to return these.

I wasn't expecting the body of the shoes to be so thin that it would feel like a sandal. The weave is completely open and this would not be a shoe I would wear in a sandy environment. The sole is also very minimal and, while the heal was fine, there wasn't enough support in the toe box for me. If I was looking for a sandal/shoe hybrid, but would have been a good option except for the support in the toe box. Other that, they looked nice on and were generally comfortable.

LOVE THESE! Definately order a 1/2 size larger, but that is my only hang up with these Excellent hiking shoe, and very durable

I bought these recently for a trip to Cambodia and Myanmar when visiting at the tail end of their monsoon season. The shoes were great - they are very lightweight, dried quickly and were easy to clean. I was able to walk in them pretty much the whole day without my feet getting tired. . The only thing I found is that although my right foot is a little bigger than the left, I normally don't have a problem with most shoes - however with this shoe I found that the right foot was just a shade too snug - but not enough to be too uncomfortable and not enough to get the next size up. I love these shoes also because they are not so chunky to make my feet look massive - they are sleek and the color is great.

It runs small.

These shoes are great for simple hikes. They are comfortable and offer great traction for dirt trails with a slight incline.

really wanted to keep this shoe, but the deal breaker was the width lateral and distal to my arch. felt like my foot was riding up the side of the shoe. the rest was perfect.

I wanted to love this shoe. It's beautiful and functional. I bought them for the Galapagos Islands where I would be frolicking in and out of the water. The problem is that the inner material that touches the soft skin of your arch was too scratchy without socks. I didn't think I could tolerate hiking in them for long periods of time.

This is a lightweight minimalist shoe with no insole but with a fairly aggressive tread. I sized up from my usual size 9 to a 9.5 for more room because I added an insole to snug the fit up a bit and to a provide a little cushioning, plus my big toe was to the angled seam of the toe box. I have a narrower foot but found these comfortably fitted with the insole where super tight lacing was not required. I've used these when cycling on level paved trails when I didn't want to the be clipped in and the tread gripped the pedals nicely. I will also use for light hiking and walking but not for anything more than that due to the limited interior support, though this is just what I needed. And the styling is sweet! Ventilated mesh, a trim shape, and a cool color (solar cool). Very pleased.

I love the way this shoe looks and feels mostly. It is really secure on my feet but the angle of the top lateral side of the toe box is really too much. Big toe is good but the other toes on the side run into the shoe. I would definite keep this shoe if it wasnt for that discomfort. They are almost perfect but will go back.

These sneakers have a great design. The front tip is slightly angled, which not only looks good, it is functionally important for someone like me who has along big toe. The material is mesh and breathing. The detail of the leather over the mesh, and the way the laces are fastened through these loops, make the sneakers look good and, most importantly, make my 10B feet look cute. Comfort is okay, if you don't mind a firm feel. They don't feel cushioned, but have a solid foundation. The inside is not lined, as these are intended to be airy, and in that they excel. I can see wearing them on a hot summer day, strolling near a sandy beach.

I bought shoe expecting that the shoe would be snug or too small, but I was pleasantly surprised that the shoe had room for my favorite insoles. I have walked about 10 miles this week and have found the shoe fairly comfortable. However, I think that a half size smaller would have provided a more perfect fit. I normally wear a 4.5. Love, love ,love the style, but am a little frustrated with attempts to tighten my laces without cutting off the circulation in my smaller foot.

I am a five in Merrell. Fit perfectly and super comfortable. I think they will look adorable with shorts or cropped pants for the summer.

I needed new shoes for my upcoming hiking trip, since my old ones of 10 years finally wore a hole in one of the soles. After reading the positive reviews (and also noticing that these were cruelty-free) I decided to order these. I was amazed at how lightweight they were and could see how the mesh would help with cooling down hot feet. I ended up returning them because they ran too narrow in the toe and wearing socks was out of the question. I almost ordered a size up but found another pair on the Merrell's site that I liked even better, which I will be wearing on said trip. To buyers I highly recommend ordering a full size up if you are planning on wearing midweight socks.

The shape and fit are very good. These shoes are also comfortable and there is a lot of room for wider feet. However I have two dislikes: a) the inside bottom is made of some plastic that makes my feet sweat, even though I am wearing thin cotton socks. b) the laces of this model are way too short and annoying to tie. Since I bought two pairs (in different colors), I am debating what to do.

I previously ordered my beloved Siren Sport 2 in my regular size 8, and they were too big. So I figured Merrell had changed their sizes and ordered this in 7.5. Nope, they were too small. I personally didn't like the toe of this shoe so I returned them.

This is a comfortable shoe straight out of the box. I wear a size 8 and ordered an 8 but it was too short. Zappos, as usual, exchanged them for me and the 8.5 works fine! Thank you Zappos and thank you Merrell!

I was disappointed in these shoes. They seem extra narrow and somewhat flat inside, making my foot roll in. My toes rubbed the ends even tho I always wear the same size in Merrill. The color is good and I liked the idea of the shoe, but sending it back.
