Do not plan to walk in these outdoors unless you are walking on a surface that is perfectly even and has no small stones. You can feel absolutely everything you step on. I cannot walk more than a half mile in them because my heel hits hard against the pavement, since there is no cushioning between my foot and the pavement. I found them very comfortable...but only useable as house slippers. I'm returning them because I really want something I can walk in. I have had two previous "barefoot style" Merrell shoes and have loved them so much that I wore through the soles! These do not compare. Comfortable, light, but no protection at all on the soles.

Colors looked prettier on website than in person. I don't like it. I know it's supposed to be a barefoot feel but this is more uncomfortable than barefoot. Any impact at all on a hard surface is jarring. I have a need for them so I'll keep them but I won't buy another pair. Very disappointed, mostly with appearance. They're not cheap but they look it.

This shoe is way too small although it is marked 9M. I have this shoe in 9M in another color and fit was perfect. Merrell has changed its quality and consistancy. Boo hoo.

This is my second pair of Merrels. I loved my first pair. This pair came with a mark on the toe which within a few months turned into a hole!!! The other shoe is stretching apart at the seams. This new shoe is not as well made as the old ones. I am extremely disappointed. Do not buy these shoes.

I bought these shoes in April. I wear them for work only. I actually loved them but a month into wearing them they started having holes where the bottom of the shoe and material meet. I'm very disappointed with these shoes. I've only had them 5 months and already have to throw them out. For a $90 pair of shoes, that's ridiculous!

the shoe forces pronation, due to a ticker lateral sole; after walking for a minute when trying it on , it caused a pain on medial (inside) portion of my knees. it is not a shoe for a natural gait.

Decided to try these after running trails in several pairs of Vivobarefoot shoes (which I love) over a 6 year period. These felt VERY different, much more minimal with absolutely zero support. After walking around in them for awhile to adjust, I ran several times 1-3 miles. Then one day I suddenly had terrible heel pain, which I know is from these shoes because I did not change anything else. I will not be wearing these again, nor would I recommend them.

I love these shoes, they are perfect EXCEPT for the fact that they are already frayed at 6 months. I had a previous pair of merrell's and they lasted 4 times that long. I wish it weren't so hard to find barefoot shoes in general.
