I loved these shoes. They are light, comfortable and look nice. I usually do not wear tennis shoes because I am petite and they look bulky on my feet.

Life is too short to wear uncomfortable shoes and thats why I adore Merrells. I've yet to buy an uncomfortable pair. These are really comfy and I adore the fact they are as light as a feather, I can happily wear them all day and they don't make my feet ache. I have wide flat feet and find them good to size.

Great fit, great color, great comfort! Bought a pair earlier this year thinking I would wear them to work in the garden (I decided my feet deserved more support than the grubby castoffs I usually wear to dig in the dirt) but I loved them so much I began wearing them everywhere. Only problem was that they felt a little bit short on my foot. Finally ordered a second pair a half size bigger and my feet are in heaven. I have *ballet toe* on my right big toe (why did I try to toe dance barefoot when I was a kid??)...lots of arthritis so I need something that won't squish my bone spurs and this shoe is great. Only issue is that the top rubbery coating gets wider right over my big toe where I need the most softness, but I'm coping. Wish they were available in other colors besides orange...a bit too garish for me. But love the aqua.

Super lightweight, still same great Merrell fit. But please note that this is a minimalist shoe. No thick padding as your heel strikes the ground. Feels a little strange as this is the first of these types of shoes that I've bought. But still love them - especially the color.

THE best shoe ever! Since I've been wearing them, I have had no knee, hip, or foot problems. Running is easy and they work on long walk/hikes as well. I run dog agility in them on all surfaces and they never fail me. I hope Merrell never fades them out.

I am so happy with these shoes. The color is perfect, style is perfect, the fit is perfect. Very light weight but good support. They make my feet look small but fit in the heel and room in the toes. Think I'll get another pair right away.

Finally, I have found shoes that accommodate my long second toes and don't beat them into the toes of the shoes. I don't know why it took me so long to find zero drop! I have a long love affair with Merrell and these shoes reinforce my attraction!

I had tried the Nike equivalent of these because a friend had them, but and they were just not a good fit for me I had to keep trying a larger size and it was getting ridiculous. I always loved Merrell and have their hiking boots so I gave these a try. Immediate great fit and comfort! Roomy toe box. This is my first experience with a bit of a minimalist shoe and I love the no sock wear. I have barely taken these off since I got them. Great teal color, too!

The most comfortable, easy to wear, delightfully lightweight athletic shoes I have ever owned. Merrell brand shoes tend to fit me well, and I'm glad I tried this type of shoe (previously had only worn their boots and mocs). Toe box is perfect in terms of room, and flexible for those of us with knobby feet. Thinking about buying a stash so that I will have happy feet for years to come. Seriously that good.

I am very pleased with the look and comfort of these shoes. They are very supportive, true to size (lots of toe room) and do relieve some stress on my lower back. I would buy these again in another color and highly recommend them.

Great shoe but it fits different than my previous Bare Access shoe. My foot is wide in front & small bunion and narrow heel. Previous Bare Access shoes I would order 1/2 size larger for extra toe space and tighten laces to keep snug in heel. With this shoe, the toe box is wider and higher arch which hit in the wrong spot because the shoe is 1/2 size larger than my "real" size. Will try again, ordering my "real" size of 7.5 instead of 8.

Took them out of the box and took a long walk. No breaking in needed. Very comfortable. Since I love walking barefoot, wear Birkenstocks and Earth shoes, I love the fit of the Bare Access. They are great the way they are, but will put in Dr. scholl's comfort soles for a Europe trip. Wish they came in more neutral colors. The color was brighter than the pictures. Still love them!

I absolutely love these shoes. My usual size 9 was too big in this style. Plus, I felt like there was a bar (the arch?) under the ball of my foot. I realized that I had not put my orthotic in. That was worse. They are too big and the orthotic did not sit right. I liked them so much, tbough, and Zappos makes it so easy, I decided to exchange them for an 8½, my normal street shoe size. That was a perfect fit! They provided total comfort. I took a few steps. Oh, no! Not enough cushioning. However, the shoe was so comfortable that I kept them on. My feet normally feel claustrophobic in shoes that I cannot slide on/off easily, but after a couple of minutes, I actually forgot that I had them on. The lack of cushioning problem went away. There is so much support that the fact that an orthotic cannot be used is no problem. I even stand/walk differently now. I am 65 and do a 10k walk/hike almost weekly. I am use to tired, aching feet, knees, legs and back and I can hardly wait to get my shoes off. With these shoes, I feel no pain and, even with the energy sapping heat and humidity, I feel wonderful. I ordered a second pair and took two pairs of almost new sneakers to Goodwill. Can you tell my whole body loves these shoes? Now, if anyone can point me in the direction of some cold/inclement weather models, I would be forever grateful.

I bought two pairs as I speed walk between 4.5-9 miles/day and like to switch in-between. I've been using Vibrams Five Fingers for years and also had a pair of Merrell Minimalist shoes that I literally wore through. I happen to really like the "minimalist" freedom the zero drop/no support shoes offer and am totally in love with these shoes. They have a tad bit more cushion in the heal area than the Vibrams, but I'm still able to "feel the road" and my foot rolls naturally. Of course if you're looking for a shoe with strong support, etc. then this is not the shoe for you, but if you're looking for a replacement to the Vimbrams Five Fingers with a little bit more cushion you should try these. True to size and width!

I bought these shoes because I love the ones that I bought last year and was afraid that they would change the shoes and I would not be able to find it again. These feel different than the model from last year, but still super comfortable. I love them!

I absolutely LOVE my new shoes! They fit perfectly the very first time I tried them one. The support they give my "old" feet is excellent. I plan on ordering more in the future. Thank you, Zappos

These are lightweight, comfortable, well ventilated and cute. The arch support is quite good for walking, even for several miles. I like them a lot!

First, I love Merrells. The majority of my shoes are Merrells; however, I wasn't all that impressed with my last barefoot shoe from them several years ago. These though are fantastic. I wear them all the time since receiving them. Roomy in the toe box without looking like clown shoes (like the arc 3 did for me), perfect fit, look great without being too obnoxious. Great shoe.

Excellent, true to size, minimal design. I like sneakers that are sleek with good arch support. I do not like big chunky sneakers so these are a perfect style for me. I use them for weight training at the gym and walking around New York City, I even comfortably climbed a Mayan pyramid in Mexico with these sneakers the first week I bought them. Very happy, good shoes, throw them in the washing machine if they get dirty, they air dry quickly.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair and would highly recommend. They run true to size .and are extremely comfortable for walking and working out. My trainer tells everyone they're perfect for training in the gym.

I really wanted to keep this shoe, BUT it is truly a barefoot shoe. I was looking for a running/walking shoe. There was no cushion, even though it did feel fairly supportive. I wear a size 6.5 or 7 (I have normal heel and wider ball of foot). In this shoe, the 6.5 was perfect. I loved the color, the style, the fit and, if the price were less, I would have kept it just for running around town instead of an athletic shoe and hoped that maybe I was wrong on the comfort level of a barefoot shoe.

I was looking for a light weight trainer that would go from indoor to out. This is a great shoe! It's stylish and has a big comfy toe box. I wish the sole was a little softer, but for what they were designed for I understand.
