GREAT shoe ~ straight out of the box comfortable! Great for summer since the shoe is a lightweight mesh! I ordered 1/2 size up for an awesome fit!

These are great workout shoes! I have another pair and just bought a second. Great support, roomy toebox (which I need for bad feet) and VERY light. Mesh is nice so feet don't get too hot. Great styling. The bottom is not as thick as regular shoes and it take getting used to because they feel almost like going barefoot. But once you get used to them, they are great. I have not used them for walking but wonder what they would be like on the street...

After having a foot surgery that went south, I started buying Bare Access; first was the Bare Access Trail, now and hopefully forever, will be the Bare Access Arc. They are comfortable to the point that I barely notice I'm wearing a shoe. The arch is great, but not prominent and the weight of the shoe feels like you could fly. Recently, my 90 yr old mother asked that I purchase a pair for her and she wanted purple. She has a different foot issue and is more than pleased with the comfort of this style shoe.

Most regular width shoes fit too tight across my toes, but these were perfect. I usually order 8.5 to accommodate my toes, but the 8 was perfect. Great arch support also.

These flat sneakers are super cute and versatile. No bulky material, large heel, or stiffness. If you are looking for a slim fit sneaker that is light weight with a large toe box and arch support, this one is perfect. The color selection is also amazing.

I have long loved the barefoot last of the"Glove" models but needed a bit more support for my foot for trail-walking and cross-training exercise class. The Bare Access Arc 4 is a perfect find for my needs -same barefoot last and fit, but a bit more structure and support - without adding much weight or clunkiness. I love the styling too.

I love these shoes. So comfortable and love that they have great arch support and yet pretty minimal in other parts of the shoe.

I love this shoe, it is my third pair. It is a minimal shoe, so there won't be much "support." It feels great on the trail, is very lightweight, and doesn't alter your gait. They make your run feel natural. They breath well and are still functional if they get wet ( so enjoy those runs in the rain!)

Love those shoes! There is enough room for the toes to mimic bare foot walking, and with the non-overwhelming ankle support it makes walking and running more natural - using the appropriate muscles in a healthy way. They are also extremely light, and beautifully designed. I get compliments on their looks all the time!

These are my new favorite shoes! The color is great and goes with everything, and the comfort is out of this world. These were great to have walking around Disney World!

My third pair, and please don't quit making them. I wear one pair for running and walking (for exercise)and another for work and casual walking.
I was unsure about the lightweight feel which made it feel like very little support. But whatever it is, it works for me. I've had two knee surgeries and at 59 have some arthritis. I've tried firm support shoes and they seem heavy and make me take an unnatural stride. These allow me to walk similar to being barefoot.
Pros - lightweight. Flexible. Ultra wide toe box, which is my favorite part. The shoe laces are not a stretchy type, which I did not think I would like. I routinely double knot my laces, and these never come undone. Ever. They do not loosen up or need to be adjusted.
Only downside I can think of is they are not warm due to the ventilation, so for cold weather or wet weather running, might need a different style.

Due to returning foot and ankle problems, I was pleased to find this Merrell shoe with Vibram sole. It is very comfortable, light-weight, has good arch support. I wear my regular size without socks and go up a half-size when wearing fairly thick athletic socks.

I started training cross fit in a pair of Merrells I bought for walking. They had a flat sole so worked well for squats. It came time to replace my shoes so I tried a pair of Nike Metcon. I just wasn't happy with the comfort or support after wearing the older Merrells. Long story short, these shoes offer arch support as well as a wider fit. My foot is short and wide and this shoe is awesome!

I bought these shoes more for everyday wear rather than athletics. They have fit my expectations well. I do not think they would provide enough support for my athletic needs (pronator). I am very happy with this purchase.

Great crossfit shoe! I do not care for the Reebok crossfit shoe. I have used the original version of this Merrell shoe for the past year and a half for crossfit and cross training and it is my favorite cross training shoe. Tried this one out today for the first time and it did not disappoint. I have high arches and need extra arch support, these do the trick for me. They do run a little big, good for people that need extra toe room.

I love these shoes. This is the second pair I've purchased. I hope that Merrell keeps making this style. The wide toe box gives toes room to move and breath. Like walking barefoot, only with support.

This is my 2nd pair of Merrell's in this style. I was concerned at how 'light' it was - there isn't even an insole to pull out. Have trouble with my IT band so always feel like i need a huge cushioned shoe to walk in, but these are fabulous. I do put my 3/4 length orthotic in for more support and they are perfect. One pair for walking, one pair for the gym. I'm told you can also throw them in the washing machine no problem. Loving this new style that isn't so clunky. Makes them easier to pack for a trip also!

I use them for frequent hiking, mostly on pavement. They were the perfect fit from the start and didn't need to be broken in. I just bought my second pair; my first pair had lasted for quite a while. I like that the design hasn't changed much. Great shoes, worth the price.

I got the aqua green color and love it. They are a little loose around the ankle, but don't slip. On the trail it meant that debris got in the shoe (annoying), but they are great in the gym or non-trail walking. I tried some Altras too for the zero drop, but their shoes came up too high on my heel. This one is just right. I like that they have lots of room in the forefoot (I have a bunion on one foot).

Agree with others. Comfortable right out of the box. Super light, but still supportive. So happy with this purchase.

I've tried Asics and a couple other brands, looking for a light-weight summer sneaker. Merrell was comfy right out of the box, and I've been wearing them on my long walks every day since I bought them. They're just perfect. Bought a half size bigger than I usually do.

I finally found my shoe!
Zappos is the best, of course. Over the past 10 days, I've tried on and sent back about 10 pairs of athletic shoes that either did not fit well or were just plain ugly. Zappos makes this painful process of shoe shopping so easy.
And finally I found this one! I wear size 11, have flat feet, narrow heels, and toes that like to have some room. I overpronate and need orthotics. These shoes not only accommodate my orthotics and fit my crazy feet, but they are more comfortable than bedroom slippers!
Very lightweight, great everyday shoes. Love the color -- the green is actually closer to a greenish turquoise, very pretty. And the style of the shoe makes my size 11's look smaller, with the wide tongue, the toe bumper and the side stripes,
I haven't yet done any extended walking in them, and they are so light that I kind of wonder how they will hold up. I'm trusting the other reviews on this.
I'm accustomed to wearing a more supportive shoe, so these may take some getting used to. With the orthotics and the way I can pull the laces to make the shoe fit snugly enough in the heel, they should be fine. So far I love them. Thanks, Merrell, and thanks, Zappos!

I have had multiple pairs of this shoe thru the years. I have flat feet and over pronate, I had orthotics made and it just made my shin splints worse. With the approval of my podiatrist I bought my first pair of bare access arc. The difference was amazing and I have never looked back. These shoes have gotten me thru multiple half marathons, a full marathon, and fun trial running with my dog. This time around I tried the vapor glove2 just for kicks as it also has the zero drop. They were cute but had NO arch support so the day I got them I called customer service and they had my tried and trues sent to me the next day, with the vapor gloves headed back to them- I will never stray again! Can't say enough about Zappos... The fact alone that I can order something at 2:30 pm and have it on my door step the next day by noon is reason enough to never stray from them either!
