These are great shoes. They look great and feel great. You may have to try a few pairs to get the size right but with Zappos' free returns and fast delivery it is easy.

I've been buying Nimbus for years. I really like the fit of the Nimbus 17. It feels a little more snug than my last pair. Gel is the same as it's always been. Overall, an outstanding shoe for my foot size and running style.

I have bad knees and my feet need more cushion when I walk which I do 4-5 miles a day. I liked these shoes so much that I bought a 2nd pair 2 weeks after trying my 1st. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for maximum cushioning and comfort in a tennis shoe.

One of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I also bought the Asics Gel-Cumulus 17 but that pair was not as comfortable and felt a little smaller and tighter, even though they were the same size. They are highly recommended.

These are very cushy sneakers. I switched from Nike airs to Asics. They are not quite as cushy as the Nikes but more stylish and very comfortable. It is always easy dealing with Zappos. They are very efficient and offer easy returns.

I ordered a pair of the Cumulus shoes made by Asics and was dissatisfied with them. I contacted Zappos and told them about the minor defect that I had with them as well. They squared it away no problem and sent me a different pair of shoes to my preference. I would shop with Zappos again any day for this great experience.

I had worn out a pair of the Asics GEL-Nimbus 15 shoes and knew that they fit my feet well. So, I just tried the upgraded Nimbus-17 version for my first on-line shoe order. Everything went smoothly and the shoes fit very well. I was pleased with getting a new pair of exercise shoes without having to go shopping!

Excellent! Arrived promptly; fit great. 5* service. I'd recommend them to anyone, although it would be a good idea to try a pair on at a local business just to make sure you have the right size.

Great shoes. This is my third incarnation of the Nimbus. I was a little wary of the negative reviews, but took a chance and am so glad that I did.

I love the colors! Cushy comfort. Could be a little more strength to hold the foot vertical. But I love the cush! Better than moderate arch. But not too much!

Finally, a running shoe with as cool a design as those usually catering to people with normal width but accommodating extra-wide feet! These shoes are very comfortable to run in and look great! One slight negative: Like with a few other pairs of Asics, I have noticed that the toe box is a bit roomier than what I would have wanted, but at least it's not constricting and not overly roomy. In sum, for those like me who want comfy, extra-wide running shoes, but would prefer to not run in drab designs, I would definitely recommend trying these Nimbus 17 -- they accommodate super wide feet without sacrificing a cool aesthetic!

I am a huge fan of the Nimbus series. I have purchased several through the years, some year models have been more comfortable than others. The 17s are one of the more comfortable ones that Asics has released. Highly recommend!

My husband loves to run - good thing since he's in the military. These are his running shoes of choice. This is the second pair he has ordered (same color combo and all). While I am not the wearer of these shoes, my husband doesn't have much of an arch to his feet, these shoes provide him the arch support he needs to comfortably run ten to fifteen miles without any issue.

I'm on my 2nd pair of the nimbus 17. My 1st pair carried me through training and completion of a half-marathon. After approx 450 miles, the shoe was worn-out... Still looked ok, but cushioning was worn-out. In hind-sight, I should have replaced them after approx 350 miles of hard-surface use. This is a great shoe for runners looking for plush cushioning.

Tried this shoe on September 25th. I'm 6'4, 240 lbs and my one complaint on this shoe is that the sole has too much cushion for my size and weight. Felt very sponge-y and soft and I think for lighter folks this will be a very comfortable shoe. I went with the Kayano 22 which was perfect for my needs and size/weight.

I'm really hard on shoes and these are no exception. The breaking in period for these shoes has been longer than other pairs I've had. These are sturdy shoes, fit well, lightweight, good flexibility , doesn't seem to roll. I did have to put the knee brace back on to correct alignment changing from one brand to Asics. I'm very pleased. I hope they last.

Love these shoes! I return to them every 400 miles. it's like running in bedroom slippers. seems like the new Fluid Fit technology increase the perception of width and they now feel true to width where earlier models were a little narrow to width.

The shoes I just returned have a warranty issue; it wasn't Zappos fault! I couldn't be more happy with Zappos! Everything they do is beyond my expectations. Next day delivery, return policy, customer service people, prices. I have given them all my business on everything I buy!

Excellent! I have a new job in a large healthcare complex. My daily routine involves a lot of walking and I needed better shoes. I chose these after researching and asking coworkers about their favorites. These shoes have been amazing. After a week of daily use I am very pleased.

I used to be a "New Balance" guy, but these are now my favorite running shoe. Feels great, awesome cushion.

These shoes were incredibly comfortable for my child. Had to buy half size larger (10 instead of 9.5) to accommodate for socks - I've found Asics sneakers sometimes run small. My son said they were incredible to walk in.

Best fit and support of any running shoe I have ever had. Good stability. So sad that it took me to get to my 60's before I tried the ASICS brand.
