These pants are comfortable! The stretch factor is definitely nice. The pants were true to size. There wasn't bunching in the crotch area and there was plenty of room for women with junk in their trunk! The zippers around the legs were a little tight.

Like the material. Not thin, flexible. Comfortable. Long enough.

Product arrived in a timely manner and was a nice fit. Can't wait to wear when the weather warms up and utilize the multi feature of pants and zip off for shorts.

I was happiest with these pants of all the ones I tried because the material was light and not clingy or crumply. Some of the other brands (Prana, North Face) the nylon was thicker.) these are also flattering, and have a BONUS - small zipper pocket, which was not noted in the product description. I bought a second pair for our kayaking trip. Would like a few more colors.... a silver-grey or NAVY.

They are a little snug around the zipper to make into shorts.

I ordered this pant in a Short and Regular inseam, since I didn't see any more specific measurements. On the Size 2 pant, the S is a 30" inseam, the R is a 32" inseam. I normally wear a size 2; these pants fit me perfectly. Since the leg is skinnier, I can feel the material covering the zipper on the pant leg. I don't think it will be an issue when walking, but it could be when climbing a steep trail or stairs, thus the 4 stars for Comfort.

I own 4 pairs of these...in different colors! A size 2 is hard to find in anything for me...in my late 50s . They are stylishly cut and flatter no matter the size. Friend also owns these and we agree...these are worthy convertible trail pants that can equally be worn in town, to dinner or summiting a 14er!

Typical me purchased these pants before reading reviews. Was mostly concerned about everyone's comments on the tightness at the zipper because I have big thighs. Fortunately, it doesn't bother me too much. I think the perfect fit of the pants while standing has to create a bit of tightness when seated, considering that zippers can't stretch like fabric. It's expected but not unbearable. I bought these in black and I use them for travel because they're light weight, easy to pack and adaptable to all weather. It is machine washable but a big selling point is that you can wash them easily in the sink when traveling and hang them up for quick dry. My husband always compliments my rear end when I wear these. I plan to purchase the non-convertible pants.

I bought these specifically for a trip where I was traveling from cold to warm weather and they worked great for this purpose. They are great for travel and extremely comfortable. I will absolutely use them when hiking as well. I have since purchased a pair for my husband who has fallen in love with the comfort and versatility. We are both ordering additional pairs to have in other colors.

I love the Omni-Shield line, and these pants did not disappoint. I use the zip-off-turn-pants-into-shorts thing a lot, and these are just great. The zipper does not scratch against my skin, there are ample pockets, the fit is comfortable, the ability to cinch the legs at the hem comes in very handy. Very happy with these!

I ordered these pants for kayaking and hiking because the bottom zips off and they are quick drying. They are really nice looking and fit like they were made for me. Drawstrings around the ankles will also help keep ticks out! It's winter here now and too cold to wear these light weight pants, but can't wait until spring to get some good use out of them.

Versatile pants. Very comfortable especially for travel. You can wash it at night and it's dry before you wake up. Travel for two weeks requires only two of these. Love this item.

These hiking pants are my favorites! I've tried many other brands through the years and these fit the best, look the best, and are a great length shorts in the convertible option. I highly recommend them.

Perfect for hiking, but also wear to everyday functions. I am 5' 4" and 135# athletic build.. makes my booty look great too!

I have several pairs of these very comfortable convertible pants and want more! They are so versatile for traveling or at all-day events where it's cool in the am and warmer in the afternoon. So glad they are available in Short lengths!

I have been trying to find these pants for some time - they are the only ones with a true 32" inseam (one of my favorite things about Columbia pants). The fit is perfect, very comfortable.

Unfortunately I had to return these pants because the waist was way too large. I am very petite- 108 lbs and just 5 feet tall, but with a larger butt- so finding pants that fit in the waist is hard. I took them to be fitted, but that would have cost more than the pants themselves. However, they fit great everywhere else, had a wonderful feel too them, large pockets, etc. I really wish they had worked, but I will try another Columbia style with a drawstring.

These pants are very comfortable and light enough to be able to see ticks on them, should the occasion occur.

I love these convertible comfortable pants. What pants can you purchase that can truly work for two seasons; summer as shorts, and fall as full length pants? I had a black pair and just had to get another, so I bought one in green. Enjoyed them this summer and look forward to enjoying them this fall.

These pants are very comfortable !! Have elastic at bottom to cinch if need be to stay dry on hike. Just enough stretch to be comfy all day.

I purchased these pants for a week long trip through Canada including Niagara Falls. On the boat tours everything except my pants were soaked. The water beaded right off--brilliant!! They were comfortable and perfect for the weather that was cool in the AM & PM but hot during the day with the sun beating down. The side pocket securely and conveniently fit my hotel key and I barely noticed it was there. And the other pockets were big enough that I was not worried that my Samsung S7 would fall out even when climbing rocks near a lake. Despite the awesome extra pockets, it still packed up very thin in my limited suitcase space. Loved them and would purchase them at double the price I paid for them!

I have worn the pants on my last 2 long hikes and love them. They have just enough stretch to make them comfortable and easy to remove the legs when I get hot as the day gets warmer. I also like the green because it is different from my other hiking pants. I am 125 lbs and 5' 5'' and normally wear a size 6 which I ordered. Highly recommend them.
