Very flattering fit so no need to ask "Does this make my b... look big?" The zip off legs feature is ideal for our planned safari trip. The pants are light weight and should dry easily, a must since our luggage allowance is very limited and we will have to hand wash the pants as needed.

They're the best pants I own. They're incredibly comfortable and fit well, true to size.

Very comfortable! Some zip-offs have problems with the zippers rubbing but I didn't have any problems. I measured between sizes based on the chart so I ordered the larger size, but I could've gone to the smaller size. They were fine with a belt, though.

My order arrived and I'm delighted. The quality and fabric are Columbia-reputation worthy. I had a similar pair for a decade and it's still like new. I'm a paraplegic so I dress on bed each morning. Transferring out of bed (transfer board) with bare skin below shorts can be dangerous. This enables me to start with slacks and zip off to shorts as the day warms up.

These are great for hiking. Comfortable and lightweight. Versatile as you can use a zipper to make them shorts.

Perfect pants for outdoor hiking. Pants fit true to size, are very comfortable and are durable. I bush whacked trails in the Huachuca Mountains in Arizona and specifically wore these pants because I knew the material would be cool enough, but durable enough to handle the mesquite and sticker bushes we run into. I've slid down rocky, dirty mountain sides and these pants are in perfect condition. I bought a second pair because they are the ideal pants for hiking in cool or warm weather and can hold up to rough terrain.

Great pair of pants not only for hiking but for travel too. Fits great, ample amount of pockets and converts to shorts when your day starts out cool and then warms up. Fabric feels great on your skin and works in warm weather.

The convertible pant was the perfect investment for my grand canyon hike, the fabric is breathable and as the day got form I was able to convert to shorts, keep it lightweight.

If you travel a lot like I do these pants are a must! All weather pants that are full length, capris, and shorts that are so versatile casual or slightly dressy and they take a very little space in the suitcase!

I've owned 5 pairs of these pants as I really like their functionality and style. They fit perfectly.

Absolutely love these pants! They are great to wear when I am fishing, camping and running around town. They have the ability to stretch and move with you comfortably.

Got these pants a hiking/casual travel pants. I love them! I sized up because the style is meant to be tight and I have bigger thighs than my "true" size typically allows for. These fit wonderfully! Only thing to watch for is the zipper has no stretch. So buy according to thigh size.

I took these pants to Africa and they were perfect for the trip. They wear well, dry quickly, zip off to shorts, are lightweight and look great! I am 5'8" tall and 140 lbs and the size 10 fits perfectly. I highly recommend these!

The pants fit me nicely and are true to size. The waist is slightly snug but I am not a small waisted woman. They look good enough that I wouldn't feel strange wearing them on errands and living in Florida where it is usually 90 degrees, being able to convert these to shorts will be very handy. One of the best things about these pants is that they have better pockets than I expected so I can stash my phone securely.

Very nice, bought these for Africa and also were great in Costa Rica. The shorts are nice looking when bottom is zipped off!

I just bought these pants to take on an extended trip abroad. They fit and feel great. I'm 5'3 110got 2 R. 2 Short may have been slightly better length. But I can't say for sure.

My husband has a pair of hiking pants like these that I've been jealous of and wanting a pair of my own for a long time. These seem perfect! Great fit, light weight, option for long when it's cool to protect my legs and zip off when warm! I can't wait to try them out on our next hike!

These pants are so comfortable and well-made. The fabric is awesome and doesn't wrinkle. The bottoms zip off smoothly and are marked left and right so there is no confusion. They were a bit long, so I had to have them altered, but no big deal.

These Columbia Convertible pants fit very well and are perfect for hiking and snowshoeing. I even wear them as everyday pants.

I don’t expect traditional convertible hiking pants to flatter my body, but the Columbia Saturday Trail II surprised me. They have a slim cut that still will be comfortable for hikes. (I will be taking them on a trip to Belize). The draw tie at the bottom gives you the option of a jogger like style if you want, so the pants give you three options in one: regular straight leg, bungee tied joggers and shorts. Other reviewers commented that the zipper above the knee was uncomfortable. I can feel it, but it is covered with fabric and is not tight on me. I have a small figure and muscular, yet thin legs. I am 5’2”, 106 lbs, and ordered a 2 in the short length. Having the option of a 30” inseam for me was also key to the great fit of these pants. If you have a slim figure, try these pants. I gave style 5 stars because although they are not as cute as pants by more yoga-focused brands, if you want a hiking pant, these give function and a flattering look.

I live in FL so our so called winter weather days can start out very cool and warm up quickly. These pants are great for that type of weather. I use them for golf, I start out with full legs on and finish the round in shorts due to the zip off legs. Pants look good, have front and back pockets and feel good. They were a great buy on sale.

These pants are comfortable and fit as I would expect. They are a little low waisted, but that seems to be the fashion and I will get used to that. Nice fabric and the color is pretty much what I expected.
