This is the fourth pair of Verra hiking sandals I've purchased. I have loved the previous three pairs! For some reason, this new pair is chafing and tearing my skin. I don't know if different materials are being used, but I can't continue to wear them. They're too uncomfortable.

I just don’t get why they have to make Tevas so ugly. This style was very comfortable (I only tried on though - didn’t spend any time walking around in them). They are so ugly though, I couldn’t keep them. The plain black was the best color but for summer I just wanted something not so severe. The other color options / patterns are just completely hideous. Please Teva! I know you can do better!

I've only worn these sandals three times and already the strap by my outside ankle is becoming separated from the insole, on both sandals. I guess a very poor glue job, poor construction. I wish they were sewn. I agree with the other reviewer who dislikes the indented lines on the insole, which collect sweat and dirt. I've had to clean out the indented lines after each of my (three) wears, with a metal tool, then I clean the insoles with alcohol pads. It's too bad these sandals are poorly made, because they're cute and comfortable. This was my first Teva purchase and now I can't trust the brand.
In terms of sizing, they're sized small. I ordered a 6.5, my normal sandal size, and had to return them for a 7.

Disappointed. Cross straps have tabs rub into ankles. Wore them around house for a day and was uncomfortably abraded. Had to send them back.

The material feels cheap and flimsy. I would wear them on sidewalk but not anything more technical that this. They look not unattractive.

I have always found Teva sandles to be very comfortable from day 1. But the sole of this sandal has a seam for flex. When I walk, the seam actually pinches the bottom of my foot. Very uncomfortable.

I ordered a new pair of Verras to replace a pair bought a few years ago. Unfortunately, these are labeled 11 but they look like a 9. They have a smaller, more narrow platform, and shorter tighter straps and don't fit at all like the previous pair. Super bummed I can't wear them!.

Have a pair of Teva Verra sandals purchased three years ago and love them for their comfort, arch support and style. So, purchased another pair in August 2023. Same style and size but the new pair are cheaply constructed. Felt like walking on a board and the metal loop through which the strap feeds restricted the feed of the strap. Returned them and will not reorder.
Disappointed,

I have a thinning meniscus in one knee and I needed shoes with good support and cushion to help me be able to walk without pain. The Verra are not those shoes. While these are much lighter than my last pair of Teva's (a style that has similar straps but is no longer being made), they are harder and less supportive. I have a lot more knee pain with these than I do with my old Teva's. They also seem to collect a lot more dust than the old pair, making the soles of my feet dirty. The lavender and navy color is pretty. I usually need narrow sizes in shoes and I was pleased that these aren't too wide, but it doesn't help with the pain.

The straps are rough and rubbed my feet causing blisters. I tried washing them several times but it didn't help. If I could return them I would but they have been worn.

This was my second pair of Verra sandals I purchased. The first pair broke after only wearing a few times last summer so I managed to return and I thought maybe it's a one time manufacturing defect so I gave it another go since I loved the design of the sandal. Ordered another pair in the same size and guess what - it's too small! Also one of the side straps is already coming off where it connect to the sole, similar to the other pair, and I haven't even wore these at all! I have had a pair of Teva sandals for ten years before the Verra and I was a big fan of this brand (my kiddo and husband also have Tevas). I am so dissapointed in the quality control for these sandals and it looks like I will be getting a different brand.

The straps are extremely thin/uncomfortable and there isn't nearly as much supportive cushion as there used to be. I won't be buying Tevas again.

The shoe is more narrow than other styles and not suitable for wide feet. Additionally, the strap across the toes is too short.

Bought these while on vacation in Hawaii, looking for something that I could get wet but still be secure/comfortable for all the walking and light hiking we were doing. Sizing is very weird. The ankle strap fit too tight but if I loosened it, my foot would slide. I bought a size 5 which it my normal size but it seemed still too big. My toes would slip behind the front top toe straps constantly.

The ankle straps were too short to fit around my high arched feet and stay secure enough for walking/hiking/running. My feet are not longer or wider, they are taller than normal and make fixed stripes difficult to wear.
I found another brand that allows more range of movement and a truly adjustable straps for all foot types with the same length and width.

I loved the fit of these sandals, but the quality is just poor. The back heel pull strap broke within just a few times of wearing these sandals. I am hoping for an easy return and exchange.

I really wanted to like these. But I HATE when companies don't match the velcro up on real feet. It is ridiculous to have a 3 inch strip of velcro, but only 1/2 inch overlaps, and 2.5 inches of the rough part is left uncovered.

I received defective items, the glue started coming off the straps that are attached to the base of the footbed within one week of light wear (just going to the grocery store a couple times, running errands, no hiking or anything strenuous). I've had Verra before and numerous other Tevas, never had an issue like this before. They're very comfortable.

Look promising but your pinky toe will suffer painful sores and blisters from the toe band. Strap adjustment was no help. Teva, fix this.

I have no idea why, but the pretty blue/green ones are literally 1/2 size shorter than the black and white ones. So sad, as they are really pretty.

I wanted to love Tevas. My whole family loves Tevas. i bought this pair with high hopes. I am a size 7 and bought a size 7, but my toes did not reach the upper band. When I walked, my toes were constantly falling out, no matter how tight or loose the upper band was. I guess I should have bought a 6! Even worse, within 4 months of owning them and wearing them for less than 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week, the sole started to rip apart. I'm so annoyed that I spent $70 on these. Not good, did not fit, and broke!

The overall design was not a good fit for me. I bought them because the looked a little more dressy than the other pair I have. However because the strap design is so narrow over the foot, the foot does not stay in place as well. Also the arch needs tobe higher as I have a high instep.
