I am so glad I gave in and spent the money on these shoes. It was worth it. They are very comfortable, and feel wonderfully secure on the feet while still being a minimalist shoe and letting the feet breathe. These earn a place right alongside my Birkenstocks as must have summer shoes, and I didn't think I would ever find anything I loved remotely close to as much as them. I also like the wide range of colors to pick from with Chacos. At some point I look forward to getting another pair. I can tell these will last a long time as well. These will be a staple in my closet going forward.

This is my second pair of Chacos and I'm so happy I got them. The previous pair I had were heavier, which made them a little uncomfortable to wear regularly. (They did have deeper tread so I also wore them to do light hikes.) However, this pair is a lot lighter so I frequently wear them to run errands, go on casual bike rides, and to walk my dog. I like to wear them around the campsite when camping as well! I have yet to wear them on light hikes, but I am sure they would be okay. I was weary to purchase them at first because of the price and the fact that I wasn't 100% satisfied with my first pair of Chacos. Now that I have had them for months and wear them regularly, I'm so happy I purchased these. If you love somewhere where it is usually warm, like here in Arizona, these are a great purchase.

This is my first pair of chacos and I am upset it took me this long to final pull the trigger on the purchase. It took 2 tries on the sizing, as they run a little smaller than I expected. However, now that I have the right size they are a perfect fit! The arch support and straps are so comfortable. I have been wearing them around town to break them in a bit then will be taking them to Big Bend National Park in May!

Kind of disappointed... Got them, tried them on. They fit, but the straps were defective on one of the shoes. One of the back straps were not set correctly and were non adjustable.

Loved these and the color but I'm a true size 8 and these were almost to small. My toes came right to the end. But loved these way better than the original Chacos. They are not as heavy.

I purchased these for my daughter in size 7. She decided they were slightly too small as the toe strap was cutting into her toe so we decided to return for an 8. But when I went to order the 8 I noticed the zx 2 classic which looked almost exactly the same but was solid black and ordered them instead. When they came we both liked that they were all black but there were several things we didn't like. It was heavier and she said not as comfortable. I also didn't think they looked quite as feminine being that thick and clunky of a sole. But the worst part was that the back strap, which was the only strap that could not adjust was loose so that they were more like flip flops for her almost, especially on one foot. Anyway we returned those and went with the zvolv x2 again in size 8. She hasn't worn them much yet so we will see how much we like them after the test of time but so far they are great.

This is the first pair of Chacos I have purchased due to fear of not finding a wide enough with. This sandal was exactly what I needed! I can wear these sandals all day and get the same support as if I were wearing sneakers. The double strap took a little time to get adjusted but once they fit correctly there was no need for constant adjustments. Pay the money for a great pair of sandals and you'll wish you'd done it sooner.

This is my 2nd pair of Chacos! I have a pair of unaweeps that I have used primarily for hiking. My first pair are just too heavy to wear for normal wear. Luckily, these are more comfortable, flexible, and light. I wear them around town, to walk my dog, and to run errands. I would recommend these if you're on the fence!

This is my first pair & I'm ready to order another. Love these shoes, I'm on my feet all day with work & am as comfortable as can be. I did have to order a size up for the right width. I'm an 11 & ordered a 12. They fit is perfect.

Most comfortable chacos ever! The soles are much softer but still supportive. I wear them for work, on my feet up to 12 hours at a time, but they still feel great

Love! I have foot issues, planters fasciitis, and feel great....I've worn them everyday for the last two weeks so just ordered a second pair!!

Exactly what I expected! Love the shoes.

I owned a pair of Chaco Classics for about 7 years until the straps wore wore out. When I saw this lighter, flirtier style, I decided to try them. My first attempt was the style without the toe loop. They didn't work out well; my foot constantly slid forward and I caught the sandal toe on everything, causing me to trip frequently. I promptly went to Zappos for the toe loop version and had them two days later. After adjusting the straps, I took them on a 4-mile hike through the woods and a dip in the creek. By the end of the hike I noticed a couple pain points on my Achilles and ankle; the thread ends were rather sharp. A quick snip with a nail clipper and no more problems. I wear them everywhere now. I occasionally throw them in the washing machine with my running clothes to keep them fresh. They look great with casual skirts, shorts, jeans, chinos. You won't regret these sandals if you love to be outside.

Always wanted chacos but they felt too heavy, so I am really pleased they came out with a lighter sole! I also like the double strap as opposed to a wider single strap because it's softer and more comfortable around the big toe. I wear 71/2 in sandals and got size 8 in chacos (tried on a 7, but it was too small.) The shoe provides excellent support for my plantar fasciitis that flares up if i wear sandals with no support.

Love these sandals. Bought my 11 yr. old daughter some too. Looking forward to wearing them on vacation next week white water rafting and to the water park. I also have a bunion on my right foot and it doesn't bother it at all. I also have a very high arch and the arch support is GREAT! Very comfortable!

I just love these sandals! They were comfortable right out of the box with no break in period. The amount of adjustability with the straps is amazing. I had ordered these and the ones with the fatter straps--these were by far more comfortable between my toes, so I returned the others. Also, I had tried the Teva sport sandals similar to these but the plastic buckle on the right side of the foot caused a blister. These have no hard surface against the skin anywhere. I highly recommend them to walkers everywhere!

Excellent shoe - prefer these over classics as they are lighter weight and softer on the bottom of your foot - the modeling is smooth rather than dotted. Wish they came in more colors as Chacos also doesn't offer customizing this style. Got the violet weave and I don't have many items in my wardrobe that color but they blend really well. Fun- funky color.

I'm always frustrated when companies don't offer half sizes. Ordered up to size 7 & felt like I was wearing inflexible boxes with straps. Ordered 6 & they fit much better. The straps can be adjusted customize the fit and I found these to be reasonably comfortable all day the first day I wore they. I will test their durability in the rain forest soon. These sandals are designed to be durable, not fashionable!

I've only had these for a few days and I'm already in love! Perfect support and the color is really nice. I am usually a 9.5, so I ordered down to a 9 and it's a great fit. Highly recommend this product.

I have found my Chaco! I've tried on the class ones to walk around the house for a few days and just couldn't quite get what are all the people talking about them being comfortable?? For my feet, I think the classic ones has too much support and it wasn't comfortable for me. Returned those and ordered the Z/Volv. Waila!! Fits and feels perfect for my slightly wide and low arched feet. I know the Z/Volv are not as rugged as the classic but I honestly don't plan on hiking three days straight in them. So here you have it, the Z/Volv is the one for me :) I got the Wicker Violet, they are simply beautiful.
