For the price this shoe was awful. yes, it is classified as a ballet flat, but it felt more like a ballet shoe that I would use only to dance ballet in.

I was disappointed. I normally wear an 8.5M, but took advice of reviewers and ordered 8.5 and 9 to try. I also tried M and W in both sizes, because I normally buy shoes with more arch support and thus wider footbeds. None of the 4 pairs fit me well. Too wide, too narrow, too long, too short. Also, I decided gold bow was preppier than what I'm looking for, although if shoe had fit well, I would have overlooked the bow.

I was really hoping these shoes would be comfortable, especially considering how cute they look, but I was disappointed. I've had these shoes for a while now and have tried to see if breaking them in would make it better but it hasn't helped. The "ballet" aspect of the shoe causes my feet to be pushed back against their neutral position. I know that's supposed to help keep the shoe on your feet when walking, but after a few minutes, and especially if wearing them throughout the day, my feet are in so much pain, I have to switch shoes. Even while sitting. I won't be buying any more ballet-style shoes.

After reading all of the raving reviews for this shoe, I expected these to be much more comfortable than they were. My little toe was pinched when I first tried them on and the elastic by my arch made the inside of the shoe stick out in a very unattractive way. Huge disappointment for the price! Sadly, I had to return.

Order my regular size and one shoe appeared to be wider than the other and left a gap between side of my foot and the shoe. Also the toe part comes up to high on the foot so it looks a bit odd!

The shoe is attractive but very little support and the elastic banding is uncomfortable.

This show pinches and has a weird bend in it after a few wears. It's pretty bad. Save yourself the trouble and buy something else.

These shoes were designed to hit my bunions just the wrong way and were extraordinarily painful. Had to return them.

I feel as though I got a different pair of shoes than the other reviews did. With the initial try-on I thought these were good - I bought them as my primary walking shoe for 2 months abroad. I usually wear sketchers for traveling, but wanted to upgrade for this trip. Today, to try them out, I wore them to go out to lunch. By the time I walked from my car to the restaurant, my feet hurt. My little toe on each foot was rubbed by the side of the shoe, and the shoes feel flat-little arch support. After lunch we went to the mall. I was thinking they might stretch out a bit with walking, but they just got worse. Since I am leaving tomorrow, and they are the shoe that matches [they are yellow] my travel outfit, they will have to do, but I'm taking a box of band-aides with me. Also, they feel very "flat", not great arch support. These are the only uncomfortable Cole Hanns I have ever owned. With the brand name and the great reviews I thought I had a winner. Instead I have an expensive pair of shoes that I don't like.

I bought these in C width but they are narrow, more like a tight B. Nike, if you are going to make a wider shoe, please make it so that it fits wide feet! Great service from Zappos as always.
