This is my second pair, but I got the wide this time and they are perfect. First had the 9.5 in black & really liked the all over charcoal scheme. The toe box was a little snug for me, had to trim toenails short and there wasn't much wiggle room but size 10 was too big in the ankle and heel. They feel so nimble & the rolled heel makes walking so smooth. After two years of outdoor field work in mud, rain, sand, they blew out on the sides of the forefoot. They were waterproof for a long time, even in downpours and standing in a packhouse with hoses spraying everywhere. The 9.5 wide fits PERFECT. Larger toe box, but not a noticeably wider sole or heel, which is just what I needed. I wasn't sure I'd like the brown color, but its really muted, like chocolate. These are my favorite boots. Really love the smooth design of the uppers with minimal stuff going on. Thoughtfully designed, really shaped to fit a foot, and just love the rounded heel! Too many boots have a big chunky squared heel that feels like it jolts my leg when I walk, like Keens. I wear a women's 10.5 shoes, 11 in boots,or EU 42, but often find myself trying on men's shoes to get the width.

Hands down the most comfortable pair of shoes/ boots that I own and I would gladly recommend them to anybody who wanted to know. Great arch support and good feel around the ankles, and excellent traction from deep treads on sole.

I wear an 11 wide, and since the stores don't usually carry wide sizes, I had to order them. I'm on my second pair (not Oboz fault) and after wearing the other pair for about a year, these are definitely comfortable, tough, and waterproof. I don't just use them as hiking boots either; I wear them everyday for work-boots as well. I can say as everyday shoes, Im happy to wear them all day long. I also want to give LLBean shipping department two big thumbs up! I ordered these on a Friday and they told me it would take 2 weeks... but two days later (Tuesday) the boots were in front of my door. Now I have time to break them in a little before this weekends hike!

I have had these for over a year now, in a hard to find 14EE. I bought them for walking/hiking and have many miles (well over 500) on them now . I found that they are durable for working around my farm, standing long hours either on concrete in barn or outside during winter and summer. Waterproof works well too. Will probably be getting another pair in the near future since I will have worn these out.

Very high quality boots. Probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned, worth every penny.

If this boot is durable it will have become my favorite boot - great traction, lightweight yet nice support, nice heel pocket. The EE width fits very nice. These are replacing Asolo Fugitive GTXs in wide, that I like, but whose soles wear out rather fast.

I just received a pair of these and took them on a multi mile hike through slush and snow. The quality seems good, they are true to size, and relatively lightweight. They were comfortable right out of the box and definitely waterproof (I tested them in a bathtub)! Obviously, it's too early to see how well they hold up.

Great boot but needed to upsize and go from a 12w to a 13w. Now nice and comfy super quick service. Thanks LL Bean

These boots are awesome! In my first hike with these, I accidentally stepped into a stream of water and fully submerged my foot; the only part of my sock that got wet was around the ankle where water came over the top of the boot, the rest of my foot stayed dry - truly waterproof. They are very comfortable and look good, too. For size comparison, a 9.5 wide in Red Wing work boots gives me a bit of wiggle room. In the Oboz Bridger I ordered a 10 wide and they fit perfectly.

12EEE is always hard to find. Usually order shoes take them out of the box and wear the box. Shoes never fit! These are perfect. True to size and roomy in the toe box. Fit is spot on. Break in will be minimal. Good boot.

These boots are beautifully made. I am very hard on hiking boots. I weight 260 lbs and am 6'1. These boots are comfortable out of the box, water tight and seem to always look new. I will be buying Oboz again.

My husband tried it for 50 minutes walk in the trial near our home. it is light and comfortable , did not feel it is a pair of new shoes. no break in time needed. He does not have many occasions to wear it. only tried once in a dry day but we like it. do not know the waterproof function. It is well made.and very sturdy.

These are really great -- they are the lightest boots I could find for using with a chainsaw and other dangerous equipment. I like: That they're waterproof, they're really lightweight compared to competition, they look nice and professional, they don't come untied like my last pair of boots, they're good in all weather conditions so far (I haven't tried them in winter yet). I don't like: The toe rubber cover at the front top tip could be stronger -- but the last pair of shoes I had had steel toe, so maybe I'm just missing that. The fit is right around a size up, depending largely on what kind of socks you have on. I've found with really think socks that the size I got is actually too big, but with just a little thicker, but still thin socks they work well. I also have had some issues with rubbing of the part of the tongue rubbing against my upper ankle/lower shin. I think this will go away with time as I break the shoes in. So far, so good, I would buy them again. I even tried them on in a local store after purchasing because I thought about getting a size smaller, but after trying on a 10.5 instead of a 11 (which is what I got), I'm happy I stuck with the 11. The real question is how these will stand up to the test of time and daily wear and abuse. We'll see.

Second pair of Oboz hikers. Little break in required. Great boot! These boots hold up well to abuse while on the trail. Great elk hunting boot for my fellow hunters.

Great Zappos service. Even greater boots. Hikable right out of the box. Sized right for light socks. Go a half size bigger for cold weather (heavy socks).

I work as a technician in Downtown Portland, meaning I have to park in parking garages and walk to my next call. I had to buy a half size larger to make sure the boot would be comfortable with wool socks. These boots have a great sole with a lot of support all the way up to the ankle. The sole of the boot is curved around the heel and toe, making it feel like you are rolling into a step. It was weird at first to get used to but now I've noticed that my step isn't as jarring. The sole has a 'shank' going down the middle that makes it very hard to twist the sole, meaning less ankle rolling. The height of the boot is great for ankle support. These boots are comfortable to wear all day in any weather. They keep my feet dry and warm, which is ideal for Maine, where the weather is never consistent.

I have only worn these boots once, for a several day hiking trip in Maine in November. They held up great to the wet (rain drenched leaves and also standing water) forrest and kept my feet warm and dry.

Just received my Oboz Bridger Mid BDry boots and let me tell you... this pair of boots is built solid like a tank but weighs so light and feels so comfortable. I did go to a LLBean store to try it out first before buying it online. Glad I did. This pair of boots ( can't say the same for the rest of the models within the Oboz brand ) RUNS HALF A SIZE SMALL. I usually take a size 10 1/2 pair of boots ( Merrell, Keen, etc ) but a size 11 on this Oboz Bridger Mid BDry. Trust me, you won't be sorry for heeding to this advice. Just go 1/2 SIZE BIGGER than what you usually wear. Other than that, think of this pair of boots as your favorite four-wheeled drive SUV to go camping, trailing, hiking, etc.

Almost two years in these boots. I estimate Ive covered between 1600-2000 miles in them. They really live up to their reputation, and description. Excellent comfort, ankle stability, and waterproofing. And, still going strong. Unbelievable boot.
