I usually wear a size 9 (40), but gave that pair away to my sister-in-law, she loves them. I then ordered a 41, much better fit. I have a large bunion/bone on the side of my left foot, so must accommodate that. This shoe seems to stretch over the protrusion. No arch support. Not good for line dancing, which I love to do. Just cute shoes to wear for a few hours at a time.

I really like the shoe...but I wear an 8 1/2 N to W size. Both the 38 & 39 size were too small. The 40 is sold out and maybe that is what happened....all 38 - 39 ordered replacement 40!

I usually wear wide width and these shoes stretch out well to be very comfortable. The reason that I rate it 4 instead of 5 star is because the soles are so soft that I felt everything while walking. That is my only complaint. These make great office comfort shoes and is flexible enough to put in your bag for when you want to change out of your heels.

These are adorable, but I initially ordered 39. They were too small in toe area, so I reordered 40. Those fit in toe but were a bit loose at heel. They are just not too comfortable for my foot. They are cute, though.

I continued to be "wow'd" by the exceptional service Zappos provides. Wow! I sent my bernie me back because too snug. I think the new ones might be to loose... Not sure. But for sure I will wear them.

These shoes are GREAT! Very comfortable, cute, and supportive. I have to wear a shoe with support, and this mev has just the right amount. Size fits pretty true. A touch big, but that's the material. I would NOT go smaller! Great buy!

Loved the color variations of this shoe (the blue multi), but the size was too small. I wear a 9.5 so I bought a size 40. I could wear them, but my toes are jammed right up against the front of the shoe. Because they are stretchy, I could get away with it, but I don't think it would be comfortable for very long. The size 41 is a tad too large, but they just don't offer half sizes (sigh). They seemed like they would have been as comfy as a pair of slippers.

I love these shoes. Very cute on the foot (even my wide ones). Very comfortable. But having a very difficult time with the size. I am always a 40 in everything. I got a 41 in these because I had ordered another style of Bernie Mev. and the 40s were too small. The 41 is still too small, in fact, it doesn't feel very different than the 40. I guess I'll see if they have a 42.

These shoes are super comfortable but they just weren't what I was looking for. I wear an 8/38 normally but my toe was touching the front of the shoe. If I were to keep them, I would try a larger size.

I love these. I ordered 3 pair in different colors. one pair was smaller than the other two and needed to be returned for exchange, to a better fitting pair, I hope.

These are great shoes if you can find a pair that fits. I have ordered multiple pairs and there is zero consistency in sizing. I normally wear a 6 1/2 or a 7, so I have tried the 36 and 37. I have found some 37s which are too small, and other 37s that fit. I just ordered them in black in a 37 and 38 because the last 37 I got in a different color was too small. The 37 in black was way too small, and the right shoe in the 38 was a bit snug and the left one was way too big. These are ultra-comfortable and leave no blisters after walking for miles in them. You don't need to break them in which is great. But the manufacturer has a major problem if they can't make their shoes in a uniform manner. I would still recommend the shoes because they are very cute and super comfortable, and they weigh practically nothing. They are great shoes for traveling.

Done! I found my walking shoe. I just received the Bernie Mev Catwalk style in the lovely modeled blue "Jean" color and I love them. I wanted a comfortable shoe that I can walk around Manhattan in without killing my feet. These are lightweight, yet sturdy, and will prove great for my everyday commute. I also tried the same shoe and size in "Pixel", but they were too big. It could have been that they were stretched out a little, so I'm ordering another pair just in case.

What I wanted was a comfortable walking shoe with great support. I don't think these are the ones, BUT they are really cute, and I love them. They'll be my 'run around town' shoes…a teeny bit tight in the toe, but the next size would be too big. (I'm either a 40 or 41 Euro). They will surely stretch enough. I will get compliments on them…I promise.

These look nicer than the picture. They are a sparkly bronze, but not tacky. I plan to wear them for a wedding in a casual setting. The top is cut in a V which looks nice and dresses it up a bit. They are very comfortable and fit to size. I wore a different pair of bernie mev to another wedding. What a difference, being comfortable rather than in heels. Also much better on the lawn for outdoor weddings, I do wish they had a bit more support and they would do a little dressier version at some point. They are less cushy than my other pair. But this is a nice shoe for everyday or out to dinner.

Unfortunately, I wore the shoes and the toe box is too short for me. I am returning another pair for a larger size. Returning one pair for size 39.

These are really cute and very comfortable. I think they are a little smaller than usual. I think half a size up would be a better fit. The color is nice, although I do worry about the stretchiness eventually making the shoe too loose or busting a hole in the toe. So far so good...

I wanted to love these! they are cute, inexpensive and I had high hopes of living in them. The fact that they are made of elastic is tricky. The salesgirl told me to buy them on the snug side, since the elastic would eventually stretch. The size 38 (I am an 8½) felt a bit on the snug side, but I got them instead of going up a size. In the end, they do not seem to stretch. I am sure that they would be comfortable live in shoes if they were a smidge bigger, but I find that I just want to take them off after an hour or so. Just a constant squeeze on my big toe. The elastic material they are made of looks great, and would wear really well, but in the end, the metallic finish is a bit rough combined with the snug fit. I have thought about getting another pair one size bigger. They are well made, and I think I would end up loving them. There is no arch support, but the soles are a really nice material that would be great for walking long distances. Since the whole fit is based on the elastic material, it is equally important to make sure they are not too big - fit is tricky on these.

I want to love these shoes. And even though I'm keeping them, they are not the "perfect" shoes one dreams of. The Catwalk is cute and comfy, and has a great sole. But the fit is off. The heel is too wide, and the footbed is a little slippery because of the material. Previous reviews indicated the size ran small so I ordered a 38 (my shoe size is a 7 or 7-1/2). The 38 was too large, but it worked when I added a Dr. Scholls insert. Still, it isn't comfortable for all day. I also ordered a 37, which surprisingly fit pretty good except for a little snugness at the big toe, which the stretch fabric accommodates. I wanted these to wear to the airport for easy on/off. Which pair to keep? I decided to keep them both. One more thing ... whatever is it, my cats won't leave these shows alone, laying on them and rubbing against them. It's like they shoes are made of catnip.

I think this shoe is super fun love the multi colors. I was a little disappointed, however, to realize that there is a lot of silver woven into the gray fabric. I'm not so much a fan of glitzy things, but I think I can overlook it. (Maybe I'm just blind and didn't realize it from the photos but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else didn't catch that.) I ordered a size 40 and 41 and will be keeping the 41 since it fit better. I wear a 9 or 9.5 in US sizes depending on brand. The only major drawback to the shoe is that there is zero arch support. If you have particularly high arches, you may want to look at a different shoe.

I am an 8W with bunions and a hammertoe. It is difficult to find flats but thought I would try this style based on other reviewers who have similar problems. I bought four brands in different sizes from Zappos and other vendors: Easy Spirit (8W, the only wide offered), Steven (8M), Bernie Mev (39, 40, 41), and Corky's (8M, 9M). They actually all fit to some degree, much to my surprise. The Easy Spirit and Steven were lighter weight, fit across the wide part of my foot, but slipped a little in the heel. The Corky's was much sturdier, having a thicker sole and coming up higher on my foot; the 9M was a better fit but still slightly narrow. The Bernie Mev was somewhere in between--more structured than the Easy Spirit/Steven but not as sturdy as the Corky's. It was a little frustrating since I had to re-order twice to finally get the right size. However, I ended up keeping the Bernie Mev as it was the best fit of all the brands. I am planning to get other colors. Also, a big thanks to Zappos for now letting customers order a different size without having to pay for the shoe again.

Love these shoes but very difficult to find the correct size. I ordered a total of 6 pairs of them in 2 sizes and found there to be no uniformity, ended up sending back 3 pairs. The good news is that when you do find a pair that fits they are extremely comfortable, even if you have bunions.

These shoes are exceptionally comfortable; however, the size is not consistent. I usually wear an 8.5 and purchased a 39. My toes are hitting the front of the shoe. Will try a 40 next time!

I loved the look of these shoes, I read the reviews, and I ordered two pairs. I should have paid more attention to the the reviews that stated they seemed too short. The rest of the shoe is really comfortable, high quality, well made....even the box they came in is cool. The problem is, they are just too short and not comfortable.

I bought these and a pair of Mary Jane style Bernie Mevs in size 37. The Mary Janes fit perfectly and theses were a full size too short. I am frustrated that different styles are sized totally different.

I am a true 6½W and last year I bought a pair of these in 6 and they fit perfectly. But these are not has snug at the ones I bought last year. I kept them. Since they have no arch support I will build some. They are also comfortable especially if you have bunions. I also enjoy the blue jean color.
