This was my second pair of this style of shoe. The first pair I bought fit perfectly and are still so comfortable. That’s why I went on to purchase a different color. This new pair in black is the same size as other pair. They felt good initially but after walking for just a few minutes they feel a full size smaller. I don’t have any foot problems whatsoever to where I could blame as the cause of the uncomfortable fit. So I don’t don’t know what is wrong with this particular pair of shoes. The shoe states it’s a 38 (same size as my other pair) but it isn’t. I assumed these would fit as comfortable as the other pair and I threw out shoe box otherwise these would go back.

oh gosh ~ how I wanted to love these cute shoes! I normally wear size 7.5, but reading all the bernie mev reviews that they ran small I got a pair of size 8 of the cuddly style (they were perfect!) so I ordered a size 8 of catwalk and they were so squishy that I tried a size 9 ~ they fell off :-( I'm sure if you are lucky and randomly get a pair that fit like Cinderella you will be very happy :-)

I ordered these in the "seabreeze shimmer" colorway, which turns out to be a light greenish blue. As I look at them online they seem to skew more green, but in person I thought they were more blue. The pink accent is more vivid in person as well. Overall they're very cute, a fun little casual flat. I wear a size nine, barely, and I found these shoes to be a bit too small; my big toe pressed uncomfortably close to the end of the shoe. They are very stretchy and hug the foot closely, but I felt like the heel wasn't quite tall enough. As I tested them out I kept feeling as if the shoe was about to slip off my heel. I did like the flexibility and grippiness of the sole (I have another pair of bernie mev shoes on which the sole feels oddly hard and slick -- they're not much fun to wear because of the sole). I wish they'd worked for me but no such luck.

Love this little shoe. Super cute, feels like a slipper.

This is a little bit short for my toes! I had to put in an insert because there was just not enough support to walk over cobblestones and uneven surfaces.

I owned a pair of Bernies with a wedge heel and loved loved loved them. I ordered these flats but there just isn't enough cushion between my foot and the floor for these problematic feet of mine. I wear 9.5, ordered a 40 and they felt too snug in the toes. I ended up ordering another pair of bernies that had more of a wedge like the pair I used to have in a 41. The color "jeans" is really pretty and the flats looked cute, I just knew I wouldn't feel comfortable in them given all of my other foot problems.

Had to reorder in a size larger & return original pair. New size still a little snug at toes but going bigger would prob be too big at heels so I’m hoping they will stretch a little with wear. Cute, already received many compliments the one time I’ve worn.

I have a pair of black catwalks from 5 years ago, have worn them year round, and thought it was time to replace them. I am normally size 8 wide width or 39. I got a 41 the first time since they run a size small and I wanted to make sure they would accommodate my wide feet and bunions. This time I ordered both a 40 and 41 and found the 40 to be the best size (I don't think my feet have changed!). All the time I wore the first pair they never stretched out, maybe got a little roomier. I had also gotten a pair of similar skechers, and they did stretch out after a couple of years. I love these shoes and plan to keep adding colors to my closet.

I bought a pair of Bernie mev for winter in black, so I had to try these. After wearing a few times, I am glad I did. The comfort is great with excellent arch support. I like to have a shoe that covers all my feet when walking and traveling, and these fit the bill.

Very comfortable. Light gold is a pretty neutral color and goes with most things. The sole is a bright white and would look better in a cream color. I’m a size 8 and ordered a size 38. It’s a bit tight at the toe but know it will stretch. This is my 3rd pair of Bernie Mev’s!

Best to buy one size larger. I’m usually a size 9, but those (38s) crunched my toes. The size 10, (40), felt much better.

I have wide feet and was surprised that these fit the wide part of my foot well. Unfortunately, the heel is likely wide too since my heels slip out with every step. Wish they worked because super cute!

I ordered a size 7 and it was too tight in the toe area. I’m usually a 7 1/2 or 8 and know they stretch because I own another pair. I’ll be sending them back to exchange for an 8 and hope they’re not too big once I wear them several times. The Light Gold color is a pretty neutral tone which goes with everything.

This is the second pair I have bought of this shoe. Love the style... flattering and comfortable. My usual size is 9 1/2 but the size 40 in this shoe fits perfectly. So MAY run a little small.

Please pay attention to all of us who say this shoe run small (short). I am now trying 2 sizes up having tried my normal size, than one size up. Hope the next pair will be perfect. If not, I am giving up on the brand. I wish the insole was loose so I could add my orthotic insoles.

My normal size is 8; after multiple tries ended with a 10, which is okay with stockings but not socks - toe area too tight with socks and still snug with stockings. I have worn the size 10 so will keep and wear with stockings. May try a size 11 in another color to see if I wear with light weight socks. Manufacturer should consider a small tweak - the area over the toes( esp. big toe) is a tad too tight - also noted by other commenters. Fix that issue and these would be my go-to shoes. Very comfortable.

Cute but way too small. What were they thinking when they listed the sizes. the 41 is listed as an 11 but I would say it is more like a 9 1/2. Of course Zappos is easy returns, but now the 42 (which I am afraid will still be too small) is out of stock. Don't you just hate advertising that is so off the mark? Will see if it comes back in stock and will add another review if in fact the 42 works. I actually wear a 10 1/2 but most manufacturers don't do 10 1/2.

These are sized very small as others have said and I had to size up a full size to get the right length, how ever they are very cute and seem like they will be very useful for traveling. BTW, Zappos customer service was great with the return and speedy with getting the larger size to me. I will probably purchase an insert to give me a little arch support as I have very high arches and could use it for longer periods of walking or standing. Otherwise, I'm very happy!

My mother-in-law wears many types of this brand, and they are adorable on her, so I tried them out myself, with two sizes. I generally wear 10.5, so I tried 10 and 11 (there were no half sizes). Sadly, the ten was uncomfortably tight, and the eleven was too loose to keep it on my foot. Too bad. Will try again if I see half sizes.

These run SO SMALL!! Maybe it’s the elasticized outer that made them feel tight, but they were uncomfortably tight on me. I ordered a size up, and still too tight! Nothing in stock two sizes up, so I guess I’m ruling these out. They’re really cute looking. Super versatile style.

I bought 3 pairs of Bernie Mev shoes all in size 40 including Catwalk in black velvet. None of the 3 are sized the same with Catwalk coming in at the smallest - so tight that had the shoes been leather I would not have been able to fit my foot. So, returning these, for sure. BUT, they are really sweet shoes in terms of look. There is no arch support or much sole - essentially a ballet flat with better grip.

I LOVE these shoes and especially this style as well as the braided catwalk style. I think I reviewed a previous pair and gave 5 stars - I've downgraded to 4 stars based only on how the insole wears after a period of time. Not sure if it's because I was caught in the rain while wearing my previous pairs of this style, but the insole, memory foam "lost it's memory" and has worn very thin in the toe and heel area. There are indentations for each toe. That said, they are STILL more comfortable than any other shoe I own and the outside of the shoe still looks great after being worn almost everyday all spring and summer. Just purchased the black shimmer and really like that color - goes great with black, gray and most any color. Also own the bronze, white shimmer, jeans, silver with rose braid, and will probably buy other colors next spring.

Love this shoe but had to reorder a size larger. Comfortable and perfect for pants.

I loved the design and quality! Unfortunately too small (I am size 10 and ordered a 40). I will be sizing up because I love them!
