I have worn this shoe for over 5 years. I ordered my usual size, 9 1/2, and also a size 10. The 10 felt better. I compared the 10 to my old 9 1/2 and found that the soles were closer in size than the new 9 1/2 was to the old 9 1/2. I don't really understand why that is. I returned the 9 1/2 and Zappos was great about processing my refund (Thanks Zappos!). These shoes feel great in the pool, offer good foot support, and last a long time. Good value for the cost.

Ii am a "true 8", yet my big toe seemed to be poling the end of the shoe a tiny bit.

They are perfect for water aerobics, the only thing I do not like is the toggle tie, but I just tucked it under the lace up.

I've been teaching water fitness classes for almost 30 years. There were not shoes designed for this format for many of those years. I think these are the best that is out there at this time. They offer protection for your feet, shock absorption, arch support, etc.. HOWEVER, the soles are extremely slippery. I cannot fathom for the life of me, why they would make this an issue for a shoe worn in & around pool surfaces, which are always wet. I've taken to going barefoot to teach Aqua Zumba, because it's better than slipping. That is not a good thing.. I am hoping that they will become less slippery with time, but wearing them rarely, so that may not be much of a solution.

These are super squishy and comfortable. I bought an 8.5 and my toes almost touch the end. 9 would be too big but I think they will be ok. The style is really cute and love the color

Love the shoe, though I ordered a size up as the Ryka Hydro Sport was small. However, upon second tightening, the top loop ripped off so I need to return. Zappos was very helpful however (except they were out of my size and I needed the shoe immediately).

Comfortable shoes for water aerobics -- not as firm a sole as my old ryas but good enough to protect my tender feet from impact! One complaint: the laces do not stay tied, and the ends flop around. The old ones were much better.

I bought this shoe for a zumba water class. So far the shoe performs well in the pool. A previous reviewer was right in her comment about the too long shoe laces. I'd been wearing a pair of Ryka water shoes that I purchased 5 or 6 years ago. The company used to have a plastic stop on the end of the laces - holding them together and out of the way. Ryka should have stuck with that design. I may look at a fabric store to see if I can buy stops to put on myself. As I've said I wore my old shoes in the pool 2x a week for several years PLUS putting them through the washer with cold water after class. Those Ryka water shoes were leather though. If these last half as long they will be worth the price.

Very lightweight, runs short, little arch support. Don't buy regular shoe size, go with running shoe size - in my case one size larger than my regular street shoe.
