Great supportive shoe! However, Needs better insert inside shoe

Love the shoes but the shipping used was terrible. Took 4 weeks to get the shoes. They went from California to California to Oklahoma to Kansa to Kansas to Cudahy Wisconsin. They stayed i8n Cudahy Wisconsin for 4 days. By the time I got my shoes they where all worn out.

These are great shoes for the my Aquafit classes. The only issue I have, and the only reason I did not rate these as 5 stars, is the shoelaces. The extra length that extends past the toggle that holds the laces together is always flapping around in the water and it's annoying! :-) I've tried tying it in a bow, it comes undone, I'm tried sticking the length inside the shoe and also inside the little Ryka tab on the side of the shoe and it comes undone. Silicone or elastic laces would work much better in my opinion.

I've been wearing Ryka water shoes for 20 yrs in the same size. This is first pair that are at least half size too large. I'm just tightening the shoe strings which help rather than returning them.

They were a little small. I bought them for next summer, so have not worn them yet.

I love this shoes, they are super comfortable and perfect for my narrow feet. I only wish the shoelaces were longer since I would prefer to tie them a bit tighter, besides that, they are perfect!

The shoe is very very comfortable Runs pretty true to size 2 I would get it another pair

Shoes are absolutely great looking. I just tie a bow with the extra laces no big deal there. I wear a 7 Med, ordered 7 1/2 Med which fits great. However forefoot support not as great as older Rykas. Will look for supportive orthotics for hydro shoes which may solve problem.

I love the hydro sports enough to have bought four pairs. They're out-of-the-box comfy and come in beautiful colors. My only negative comment is about the big opening in the heel of the outer sole, because when I wear them hiking rocks often get wedged in there and I have to stop and pry them out. If you could figure out a way to allow drainage with that hole, they'd be five star perfect!

I've worn Ryka's for 30 years and continue to recommend them to friends and students. Lately, the laces are too short for double knots which I need when I'm teaching. If you are cutting them short to cut costs, this is not the place to do so. The water shoes drain well and the tread wears well. Arch supports fit just fine.

This shoe provided the support and grip I needed for my high impact water aerobics class. I've only worn the shoes once, but I noticed a big difference in my performance.

I do water fitness 4 days a week and also wear the shoes on dry land. Great for my feet with lots of support. I also wear a orthotic and it works well in the shoe. My only complaint is the shoe laces. Too short to do knots that don't come undone in the water. I like them...my 3rd pair.

Instructor recommended to protect my knees that I get a pair of sports shoes designed for water, rather than booties. Have used them twice and the shoes make sessions much more comfortable. The fact that the shoes float make some of the moves during the class more challenging as my feet want to pop up out of the water, but I figure that adds to the resistance in the pool & to a better workout. They dry pretty fast in our hot weather.

I have been buying these shoes for years and have always loved them; they were comfortable, supportive and lasted a long time. Wherever they are being manufactured now, the quality is not as good and they are not lasting as long as in the past. Also liked these because I have wide feet and they were the most comfortable of any others. Now they are getting narrower and longer in the same size. I often have sore feet after wearing for an hour of water aerobics. Despite all, I still like these the best of all. Do not want to see any more changes or I will not be able to wear.

I LOVE these sneakers! I wear them to work (PE teacher), to HIIT workouts, hiking, and just goofing around. They are comfy right out of the box and fit perfectly. My only quibble is the big space in the heel...many times I've had to lever big rocks out of the hole. Other than that, perfection!

I'm going to Kauai to hike in the canyons which may be very muddy. I want these water shoes for hiking and for water. Would they work for that? I have been wearing rykas for years and I love them.

I bought the hydro shoes and would recommend them with one exception. They keep coming untied in the water and it is very IRRITATING! Once shoe ties are pulled tight for your foot, then a new design should be in place to keep the ties from sloshing around and getting untied. I think they need to add another part further down the shoe bed to keep the ties from sloshing around in the water; something similar to the top grommet whereby you can tuck the ties into it!
