When reading the myriad reviews of this shoe prior to my purchase, I was concerned that the majority of reviews noted that the shoe ran a half to full size large. However, I realized that the shoe is an Italian style with a longer, pointed toe. I concluded that the reviewers didn't realize that an Italian toe is supposed to be longer. You'll get an extra half inch or so extra in the toe to give it that sleek, Italian look. Many people are not used to this and thus rated it as too large. I would say this shoe absolutely runs true to size. Just know that they have a bit of a "clown shoe" feel where you might be catching your toe if you're not used to this style. They are a minimalist shoe, but I found them to be all-day comfortable. Be careful when walking on carpeted surfaces because they have no traction until you've scuffed the leather soles a bit. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with their clean, classic styling and relative comfort. They're going to look great on me for my wedding! It's hard to come across a leather-soled dress shoe nowadays. This one is a keeper!

It feels good as the size is just a bit larger than posted. But that’s a good thing. It felt good the first day with no pinch anywhere on my feet. But the color is nothing like the photo on the site and the shape is much more pointy than expected.

I wear US 12 for Nike sneakers and had to go for 10.5 here. Style is dope. Simple, clean, yet not boring. Very good bang for the buck, I was surprised by the quality of the shoes.

I bought these shoes last minute from Zappos for my wedding. Turned out my old pair of dress shoes weren't quite up to snuff style-wise, so I needed a nice pair to go with my new suit. They are a beautiful pair of shoes. Well crafted, with sturdy, comfortable sole. A little tight though, and I have average width feet. The leather is nice and shiny. Classic cap toe look. I went with the 5-eye because I have large feet, and it makes the shoe look more "normal" sized, at least to me, when the laces go further down the shoe.

I have 2 pairs of this shoe, and I honestly am thinking about buying another. This is one of my favorite shoes. It goes very well with suit pants, slim jeans, pants, etc. I love them. I wear them for trade shoes and to the office. I had. Walked miles on top of miles through airports in them, and all kinds of weather. I seriously love them. They are definitely too “nice” for some of my more casual customer meetings and stuff like that, but I feel like this shoe is extremely versatile. These beak in nicely, they wear well (if you take care of them with cleaning and polishing)... honestly nothing bad to say. Best dress shoe I own.

I did not realize how stylized they would be by looking at the photos. The toe box of these shoes is about 1.5”-2” longer than your toes and forms a tight wedge. The sole is also made of wood which caught me off guard. This is a pair of highly stylized and very fancy shoes. Not something you would wear every day.

Significantly lighter in color than they appear online. Other than that they are nice.

These are nice dapper looking shoes! Great for a night out or business attire.They’re comfortable and appear to have top notch craftsmanship. I ordered a size 10 and they fit me perfectly. However, I experienced some slight discomfort on the top of my right foot. I may have a wide foot, but I’m not sure. To remedy this, I simply took the shoes to the shoe hospital to have them stretched out for 12.00. I absolutely love these shoes and I will definitely purchase the other colors!

I love the manufacturer & shoe.....very well made....high quality.....but runs big, at least a 1/2 size to large than my typical size.

This is probably my best Oxford shoe yet. The size fits well. The leather, though glossy, seems well-made and designed to last. The heel is leather as well, which is good! I will update my review once I notice any abnormal wear from routine use. I do recommend it.

The shoe length looked larger than the size 13 that I wear but I attribute that to the style; no problem. The shoes were too narrow out of the box but my shoe experience caused me to insert wide shoe trees and let them set for 3 hours. The leather responded perfectly and the fit was perfect. Wore them to a holiday ball afterwards and danced for 3 hours with no problems. Great shoes!

Like the other 3 pairs of Massimo Matteo shoes I own, the fit, quality and style of these shoes couldn't be better. They are a little lighter in color than the picture suggests, but I liked them better that way.

Love the design and quality! Looks amazing with dress pants and jeans. My boyfriend usually goes with 11, but after several trials settled on 10 for this and another Massimo Matteo pair. Wish they had it in wide. Highly recommend.

Too tight. I requested D which is suppose to be wider than M but you sent me M not the D I asked for.

Fabulous value! These are my wear everyday shoes and I have them in three different colors. They resole nicely, too. Keep in mind that the pointy toe is a bit snug. It's not enough to mark the shoe as running too small or narrow, though.

Not sure why people are saying order .5 to full size smaller... these were very true to size and now I can't the shoe on. Yikes. Seem like a nice shoe though. I will be returning for the larger size that I typically order.

These are beautiful shoes. I bought them for my now-husband for our wedding. Not only do they look great, he says they're surprisingly comfortable. An excellent dress shoe.

I've become a fan of Massimo Matteo shoes. This is my 4th pair of this brand, and for the price, they are a steal. Excellent fit, comfortable out of the box, look great, and oh those soles... a little twist on the pavement and they are good to go. This shoe is no exception. Highly recommended.

Bought these for my boyfriend's birthday. Got them a half size smaller because the reviews say they run a bit big, and that made all the difference - they fit him perfectly! He gets lots of compliments and the quality is obvious. Only downside, you will be an audible walker on hard floors because of the wooden stock in the heel.
