About six months ago I purchased my first pair of Massimo Matteo shoes (5 eye Mocc Toe in light tan) in a size 11 and those fit true to size. They are great shoes that I wear nearly every day to work. As they are wearing well I wanted to order another pair of Massimo Matteo in a darker shade. I ordered this Cap Toe in a size 11. It is a beautiful shoe and I'm quite happy with the color, which I thought may be too dark but, as other reviewers have stated, is much nicer in person than the pictures. However, this Cap Toe is easily a half inch larger than the Mocc Toe. I have now ordered a 10.5 and will see if that will fit me as I am a true size 11. Will update.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I bought. Well made and break in right away. They look really good too.

These are a gorgeous pair of shoes. The other person was spot on, they are way better in person than in the pictures. Comfortable, just as described, if not better.

These look better than the pictures. They are a great color. They feel and look much more expensive. The size is right but they are much narrower than expected.

Extremely elegant and stylish shoes. However, they do fill a half size larger than marked. The shoe really has a Continental flair that never goes out of style. These are my second pair of Massimo Matteo shoes because of the high quality and they look absolutely awesome with suits.

I really like the Massimo brand, as I have four (4) other pairs that look & fit great, but this particular style ran very large, and the fit in the heel is too big & sloppy. Not sure why it’s so different than my other Massimo’s.

Nice looking and comfortable shoe. However very little traction. It's like walking on ice.

I trusted the one review that said these shoes are true to size and everyone else was mistaken because they are Italian style and have a long toe. DON’T BELIEVE IT! The shoes are beautiful but they ARE half a size too large. My heel slips out and now I have to order a smaller size.

Felt narrow

Classy look. Comfy feel. Good for dress or biz casual.

Nice affordable dress shoe. Fairly snug feeling as far as width. I didn't walk too far so not sure how it would last all day. One of the few with a leather sole at this price.

Beautiful shoe. They run a size bigger and I think it's due to the fact that they narrow quite a bit up front. Loved the style and color!

These shoes are great, but they're quite narrow in the toe. Also, they seem pretty long.

Great, shoe. Color seems more dual toned than picture leads on. Highly recommend going (1/2) size down. Shoe looks great. Will return for proper size.

I agree with Dave's post that they look quite a bit more formal in person than in the pictures. They would go quite well with a light gray suit. Definitely high quality - details and stitching are fantastic. Very comfy. I wear size 11 in almost every shoe out there and these 11's were too large: slipped in the heel and the toebox length was ridiculous. I'm not going to try on another pair because they were just a little too formal and wanted something for dress down days at work and to wear with jeans, but I'd be surprised if they're only a half-size too large. I might need to go down a full size in this one.

They are a bit more formal than I was going for. I am a trying to get a combination jeans/dress shirt and slacks/dress shirt shoe. They work with jeans, but a bit on the fancy side. They are super comfortable, though. Most shoes do not give me problems, but these fit well after the first one to two wears. They clop around a bit, but I did not want rubber soles so there you go. Overall I am pretty happy.

Beautiful shoe. Really wish it fit. This shoe ran 1/8 to 1/4 inch narrower than a Johnston & Murphy oxford I have that was the same size. Also pinched the top of my toes a bit. Maybe a good choice if you have skinny feet.

Shoes look great, fit right, and are comfortable. However, they are slippery. Both the heal and the leather sole are not breaking in. I have had many leather-soled shoes in the past, and none remained this prone to slipping after 3 weeks of wear. Also, separately, they squeak. I've worn them with different socks, and they're kind of squeaky. Overall, these two flaws are deal-breakers for what is otherwise a great pair of leather dress shoes.

Looks great but the sizing just didn’t work for my husband. Heel cup was slightly large, and given the tapered toe box he felt the shoe kept slipping with each step.

We ordered a size 9, and my husband felt the heel slip. Thinking it was too big, we then ordered the 8.5m and while the size was better, the heel fit wasn't right. Beautifully made shoe, but didn't work for us.

There good shoes but the sole has already worn right through which seems early for a pair of $165 shoes

Color was more camel/ tan than my husband was looking for.

Color was lighter than the picture - more camel /tan than I wanted.

I bought this pair and another from Bostonian to compare. This shoe's toe was a size longer. I like a round tow but this one in person looked too long and pointy when on my foot. When I tried them on, I was expecting a new shoe to be tight, but this immediately felt way too long and even a bit wide. It wasn't snug enough. I never tried on a new shoe that was this loose. The style is nice in a darker cognac color but fit and toe design I dislike.
