Very comfortable with regular socks for fall or spring but enough room for thick socks for colder months! I love the color green too!

Love. Love. Love. The classic green is gorgeous...and...classic. Best to get the special socks and the shearling insert. So comfy for the rain and mud.

Back seemed wider than normal

I have the original tall and the back adjustable. I like the back adjustable because it is a little less fitted on my calf. I usually wear a 7.5. I can wear these with the Hunter tall boot socks.

I'm a 7.5, but I've worn an 8 in these boots since 1987, and re-ordered an 8. In those years, my foot has lengthened, but the 8 still works, now with thinner socks. I use Spenco Crosstrainer inserts for support. I found the adjustable back best this time, for chunkier calves!

Size was perfect! The calf area is larger and while they are adjustable, they were still huge. However, they worked great!! Love them and recommend them!

Great, a little chalk to take off when muddy…

If you have a wide calf this is the boot for you. They run at least a half size large and are roomy around the ankle but not too roomy. Love them!

Love them but to small with heavy socks! Wish they came in the next size :(

I originally ordered the classic, tall Hunter boots. Unfortunately, they did not fit around my calves. I decided to order the adjustable boots and they were exactly what I needed. Highly recommend.

Hunter makes the Best rain boot.. comfortable and waterproof

This boot is great. It fits as a rain boot, though I did order a half size smaller than usual and it's still got some room for nice fluffy socks in the winter. The adjustable back was a must for me- my calf is exactly the size of the non-adjustable boot and there was no way that was going to work for me. The adjustable was perfect out of the box. I've worn them over leggings, jeans, and socks- it all worked out beautifully. They are rain boots, so they feel a little bit floppy walking around in them when I'm not using them for the yard work I bought them for but not so much that I won't wear them to the grocery store or hardware store if I have to run out. The only bummer- I wish they had more color options when I bought these. The purple is fine, but pastels in general and pastel purple in particular is not my favorite.

I ordered a number of Hunter different styles to choose from, and the original ones were by far my favorite. I have seen other reviewers comment that these were too tall for them, but I'm 5'1" and the leg fit well. I also have small feet (ordered a size 6), so my guess is that the leg length decreases with size. I like that you can tighten the top so there isn't a wide gap. Fits well with leggings and socks!

A little spot in the heel is oddly shaped and a little uncomfortable, but overall a great boot.

Bought these in green for my Georgie Halloween costume (from IT). I love them and have used them again and again (for everyday wear, not just Halloween!). Would purchase Hunter boots again. Bought a half a size up to accommodate thicker socks for colder environments.

Fit is very snug...a bit hard to take them off. Great quality, style. And just makes me think of Kate Moss at the Glastonbury concert. I'm a size 7 and bought these in size 7

I got these as a gift for my sister and she LOVES them! They are great if you have wider calves or don't like tight boots!

Love these boots! Very comfortable and I love the adjustable calf. I also bought the boot socks but had to return as they don’t work well with the adjustable buckle.

Absolutely love these. I’ve been thinking of buying them for over a year. I tried the original hunters but were just a little too snug when I wore them with jeans around my calves. These adjustable hunters are perfect!
