I bought the adjustable back version because I have big calves and I couldn't be happier! They're snug, but not in a bad way. Very comfortable foot bed and can't beat the beautiful bright violet color! I'm usually a 9 or 9.5 depending on the brand/shoe. I ordered a 9 and they're perfect

Great boots, super fun color. Add a bit of Spring to rainy days. Great customer service from zappos, when a previous pair tore outside their return window they still exchanged for me and I got new boots the next day!

These boots are gorgeous! The color is the best thing about them! I got these boots after the original tall hunter boots were too small around the calves. I have an athletic build so these were perfect, I have them adjusted and there is still plenty of room in them to go further. I get compliments on these every time I wear them, great purchase.

Sleek, fashionable, well-made & comfortable (get the sheepskin insoles!). I have wider calves and these fit like a glove. In fact, the more I wear them them more they fit me just perfectly. Such a great decision and will last for years to come!

I love these rain boots! The color is great they are navy but really dark which is what I wanted. I always have an issue with my calf size in boots but these fit fine, the adjustable part makes the difference.

These boots are great for people with large calves! My original Hunters are great, but I can only wear them with leggings because of the narrow calf circumference of the boot. These, however, can be worn with jeans and heavy socks!

I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes and a 9 in boots. Sized down to an 8 and these fit great with room to spare. I have wide calves, so the adjustables are a must. The buckles are a bit tricky and keep coming undone when I walk; I hope they just require some breaking in. I've researched, and it appears to have been a problem for this model (others have resorted to super gluing them in place). I love the look, the warmth and overall comfort of this boot. They keep my feet dry in the rainy Northwest.

I love my new Hunter boots! I have been wanting a pair of tall Hunter boots for a while but I was unable to fit into the regular ones. The adjustable calf size on these are PERFECT! Very comfortable especially if you were unable to fit into the regular cut ones. I highly recommend this boots. I normally were a size 8.5 and I got the size 8 and they fit perfectly.

I love the glossy look of these boots that makes them look perfect for wearing around town rather than cleaning a chicken coop or working outside. I wish they came in a teal color but I ordered the Navy blue and it is nice and dark and a little different than the standard black that seems most common. I ordered the 9 based on reviews although I usually wear a 10 these run large. I find them a bit difficult to pull off of my feet. Super cute with leggings but I have to wear a boot cuff because they rub a bit and messed up a pair of leggings although its hardly noticeable I think it would eventually cause a hole in the leggings right around the front top of the boot.

Just received my Hunter boots. Love them!! I had to return the original ones for the adjustable ones because unless you have model skinny legs it's not happening. I did order my size which is an 8 and they fit perfectly with socks because I wanted to be able to where them in the winter as well as the spring time.

Love these boots. They fit my calves. My only complaint is they are heavy to wear. True to size, but large in the ankles.

It seems I am ill-suited for stylish boots these days. My calves are too fat (15.5" -- REALLY?) and my arch is too high. Clearly, I am A Sisty Ugler and am not fitting into a glass slipper/boot anytime soon. Which is why these boots are so AWESOME! With two small tweaks, they are perfectly chic, waterproof and comfortable. First off, get the shearling inserts. Seriously, your feet and your back will thank you. Second, if you have a high arch and getting out of a boot feels like Round Three of All Star Wrestling - get thee some knee high nylons. They work perfectly with these lovelies and with the inserts make for a very cozy foot. These boots will last forever and will always bring you a compliment. Go for it.

Beautiful boots, comfortable and stylish. The wide calf is great as I have muscular calves. The adjustable buckle at the back is great so that you can tighten/loosen depending on if you are wearing leggings, jeans, etc. I am really glad I spent the extra $$ and purchased them - truly worth the cost.

Love them! They were a great gift from my husband! They keep my feet warm. The only thing is drivng in them is a little uncomfortable other than that, I would recommend these to anyone looking for nice rain boots that will hold up!

Love love LOVE these! I'm so glad I pulled the trigger. I typically wear a 7.5, but went down to a 7 and they're perfect. They're super comfy, which surprised me bc I wouldn't have thought rain boots could be all that comfy. Also, they look stellar. I love the gloss finish. I'm 5' 1" with larger calves (15.5" circumference with skinny jeans) but these adjustable boots are perfect. I will note that the height is different for sizes 7 and below. As in, they're not quite 15" tall, whereas starting with an 8, the height jumps up to almost 16". Might wanna keep that in mind if you have short legs.

I waited for a long time to buy these because of the cost but I am so happy with them! They're beautiful, comfy, and not too heavy; plus the green goes with everything!

I bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them! The adjustable back is key!!
