Just terrific They fit me perfectly and I got the Hunter sock liners too so they really look sharp

I love these boots but are too tall for my legs. I am returning these ordering the lower style and should be perfect!!!

I indulged myself with a pair of these since they were on sale and since my Alma Mater colors are purple & gold, my favorite red pair were often problematic on rainy game days. This is such a lovely shade of deep purple. I bought a pair for my sis as a birthday present bc she was so obsessed. She loves them too!

I was pleasantly surprised by the color of these boots in person. The tall boot takes a bit of getting used to when you walk as there is not a lot of flex at the ankle.

I am normally a 6.5 and I ordered a 6. Typically, I can get away with a 6. I was nervous about getting a 7 as I didn't want them to be too big. However, they are definitely too small. I can get them on, but with or without the liner they are mildly uncomfortable. So, I would say they are true to size; regardless if you are wearing a liner with them, I would go up a half size (if you are not a whole size)! Also, the calf area might be a tad small!

I'm surprised that so many reviews say that these run large. I think they're absolutely true to size. Also some people mentioned that they are loose in the calves which they are not at all. I have average size calves and don't normally have any issues with boots being either too loose or too tight and these fit exactly like all other boots. They are also very comfortable and in spite of being rubber boots, they're quite light weight. I wore them without socks as I don't like socks (I live in Florida) and they were super soft and nice to wear. They do have a bit of a lining so your foot and leg isn't touching the rubber. The color is supposed to be "Aubergine" but I would call it more of a bluish purple. It's almost the color of blue ink pen. I really like these boots. I am tall (5'6") and they come almost to my knees. I'm happy I bought these.

These are SO cute! Only thing is, I'm 5'1 and they're too tall :(. Literally couldn't sit comfortably in them, but they are so super cute for someone who is tall enough to wear them!

I’m allergic to latex. I learned these are dipped in latex. Otherwise, would have been able to wear them. You need warm socks with these though.

I bought these boots back in 2016 in a bright hot pink color. I still love them to this day! They are not ideal for cold cold weather so I bought matching boot socks to wear and that makes them suitable for the winter time. I get compliments on them all the time.

I’m obsessed with these boots!

As someone who lives in Southern California, owning actual rain boots has always seemed like something I really didn’t need, and these babies are definitely an extravagance. However, after ruining a great pair of shoes swimming through my work parking lot during a recent rainstorm, I finally went for it and bought these, based, I must say, on lots of reading. I could not be happier. Comfortable and oddly adorable, I have gotten lots of compliments and better still, remained snug and warm during the infrequent bouts of inclement weather. I suspect they’ll last a long time, too.

I like the way it fits.... the boot is great overall and in the wind they kept my feet warm.

Size is perfect! Love the color! This is not my first pair of Hunter boots. I love everything about them! Customer service was awesome!!!

I love these boots. They are the perfect addition/staple to my wardrobe. They are so nice looking and made of high quality.

Order the size up if you are in between sizes! The size down is too small and will be very tight. Nearly impossible to take off.

I got these boots for my special lady to splash around in the rain and keep those toes dry and fresh while doing so. She has really enjoyed the boots since I presented them. The gift brought on a good streak of romancing, as well.

I wanted to love these but they were wide and clunky. Also, they were too tall on me and I'm average height (5'4").

I love these boots if your hesitant purchase them and try them on Zappos has a great exchange policy. I'm a true 8.5 and read the other reviews so ordered an 8 and there's space for the Sherpa insoles which I ordered and the boot liners. I was torn between these and the hunter original tall adjustable as I have athletic calfs and didn't know if they'd fit. I'm a size 4 and these fit over jeans. These are very tall I'm 5'7" so they're fine on me but if your 5' 4" or shorter you might want to try the huntress or Norris or short boot instead. With the Sherpa insole and liners these are great for colder weather. I live in central Maine and we get plenty of snow and then mud season.

I purchased the Hunter Original Tall boots my freshman year in college after searching for a pair of boots that I would be able to use in rain and in snow, and would last me all through college. My overall experience with these boots has been positive, however, there are a few minor problems. Who is this product for? The Hunter Original Tall boots are a great for women who live in environments that require walking through inclement weather. In my opinion, they are fashionable as well as useful. They are a little on the pricier side, so they are for someone who is willing to spend the extra money. Evaluation Criteria Below are the criteria I used to make my purchase, as well as to review it: 1. Functionality - As I mentioned before, I was looking for boots that I would be able to use during the rainy and snowy seasons. I wanted them to keep my feet dry and warm. 2. Durability - I was willing to spend a little more money for high quality boots that would last me throughout my college career. 3. Fashionable - Because I wanted to be able to wear the boots for five years, I wanted a pair that would withstand fashion trends and be able to wear them with multiple outfits. Overall Evaluation After having the boots for a few years, I am pleased with my purchase in general. You can tell that the boots are high quality, as they are not flimsy like some other rain boots I have seen. For the most part they keep my feet dry in the rain and snow. However, there have been a few times that I have walked through a large puddle and have felt my feet get a little wet. This is avoidable by not walking through the puddles. The boots are definitely best for cold days, which was good for me because most of the school year is colder where I go to school. I also purchased the Hunter Boot Socks which are great to wear on snowy days. However, if you want to wear the boots on those warm rainy days, I ve experienced they might be a little too warm of boots for those days. In terms of durability, they have withstood many years of weather. I have worn them probably over 100 times and they have never torn or become damaged. The material is very easy to clean which makes them last longer as well. I still wear the boots to this day, so I think in terms of fashion, they have withstood time in that aspect as well. After trying to decide between the short version of the boots, I am glad I chose the Hunter Original Tall boots because you can easily tuck any type of pants into them. I would definitely recommend the Hunter Original Tall boots to any college student, as they will withstand weather and time.

Really like this boot, looks great with jeans. At 5'2" they are almost too tall for me. Any taller and I wouldn't be able to wear them as they would cover my knee. Also they are a bit snug through the calf. It doesn't make them uncomfortable but I am not able to pair them with the hunter socks as there isn't enough room. Overall happy with this product but wish there was an original tall for petites.

First the good news. . . these will absolutely keep your feet dry and they look nice. If you want added warmth for freezing, snowy, wet weather, then I’d suggest both Uggs’ sheepskin inner soles (which will also make the inside heel of the boots not slip for narrow feet) and knee socks made for these type of boots. Bad news. . . I have average-to-slim calves and the boots are very narrow at the top, so they would be very impossible for women with fuller calves to get on. It’s a bit of a struggle for me to get over socks & jeans. But I am keeping them and have worn a few times. This is strange because I’ve a much older pair of Hunter boots in the same size and they’re not a problem. And they were the reason I splurged on a green pair to go with a new North Face jacket.
