These are supposed to be the highest quality wellingtons with a price to boot, so to speak, but 2 1/2 years in, after moderate garden use, they split right down the top. Frustrating thing to have start happening right after the warranty expires!

You sent two left boots.

I bought these for my girlfriend. The problem is that after very few wearings, they started peeling. This is not the cloudy "bloom" that I understand is natural, this is a thin plastic looking layer peeling off. Apparently this is a common problem with Hunter wellies now. She has a pair of Joules that cost less, she's worn them 10 times more, and they're going strong. Or, if you really want high end, keep your eyes peeled for a pair of Le Chameau Vierzon boots on sale. Mine are practically as good a new after 8 years of heavy use. As for Hunter, the label means nothing anymore.

After one rainy season the boots are peeling.

The box said size 6 but the shoes were size 7 and now it’s no longer available in my size :(

I had to return to them because they were to tight in my calf. I am waiting on the wide leg ones to come in.

1st I ordered size "zappos" recommended(1/2size smaller than my normal), they were PAINFULLY tight around calve. I exchanged them for next size up(1/2 size bigger than my normal size)...way to big &way to tall. Otherwise, I LOVE the color,style and material

They were a gift, which was heartily accepted.

The problem did not originate in the size at the foot. I bought these for my daughter in law and she couldn’t get them past her calves... it’s a shame that they don’t offer them in a wide. I can’t give an accurate star rating outside of the style because she couldn’t wear them to find out! Unfortunately, I’ll be returning them, but ONLY because of the width issue!

I am very disappointed as I wore these boots twice and they leaked! They say they are "Fully Waterproof" but when I walked in a rain storm and slushy snow by feet were soaked!

Absolutely did not last. These are fashion boots and if put to the test as work or chore boots they fail miserably. Would never recommend to anyone.

When I opened my Hunter box and took the boots out to look at them, I was absolutely disgusted. These are my second set of Black Hunter originals from Zappos. They appeared as if someone had already worn them for months; entirely covered with scuff marks. Since this was my second set, I knew the look was not normal. I honestly do not know if I want to take another chance and exchange them.

I am unhappy with my Hunter Boots! I was always told that Hunter made the best boots, this is not true. The fit was okay. A bit of room on the toes, but my issue was the ankle. I can understand having some space, but I felt like walking I was going to break my foot! The width of the leg goes straight down and provides no support! I always tripped in my bedroom!

I'm generally a 9-9.5, ordered these in a size 9. They would have been great if I could get them on and off...the calf is ridiculously small. I am 6' tall, athletic slender build. I'm an avid runner and by no means have large calves. I could barely get this boot on, impossible with the welly sock or to fit jeans inside. Returned for a men's size 7 original thinking the extra room would make a difference. Both pairs have sadly been returned. Kudos to Zappos for excellent customer service...5 stars for communication and shipping returns!
