What happened to this brand? I own several pairs, including a pair purchased a year ago which fits perfect. They are now visibly cheap looking, like a knockoff. The size is now way off. Purchased a 2E in my usual size for years. They are now visibly narrow as soon as you take them out of the box. I couldn't get my foot in! They look and feel like a 'narrow' width. This is what happens when a brand keeps changing ownership but charges the same high prices. So cheap looking now and the size is so far off. They look like something you would buy at a discount store for much less or off a street vendor.

The toe box is wide and roomy, I Really wanted to love these. But… Bought these Dunham Clouds for a week in snowy Whistler BC. By day three my feet were aching so badly I had to go buy thick gel inserts, which barely got me through the week. These shoes have zero cushion, like strapping planks to your feet. The toe box is roomy, They kept my feet dry in the snow and the outsole kept traction on the ice, but my feet hurt so badly I couldn’t wait to get them off each day. After wearing them for a week I am discarding them and will search for something with a wide toe box that has a lot more cushion.

Oh, how I miss being able to order those Brooks Addiction Walkers (Not the new model II). They fit me. I haven't found a pair of shoes to equal them since, including my most recent pair of Dunham Cloud Waterproofs. My right arch can be painful from time to time as I wear them. Typically, at 82, I have walked two to five miles everyday until this pair from Dunham. Now I have to lay off wearing this new pair until my foot recovers. Can't Zappos/Amazon exercise their market pressure to brink my favorite Brooks Walkers (not the new II) back. I have only a few miles left in my old Walkers and they have begun falling apart after many, many miles. Perhaps I will be surprised to find that you and Brooks have brought the old Walkers back. If not, I will continue looking for another pair of walking shoes that give comfort to my difficult to fit feet.
I'd also recommend:
Only the old Brooks Walkers (not the new II model).

Nasty pinch point over the left big toe. The metal lace eye digs into my foot when striding forward. No problem on the right foot. Not a bad shoe except for this issue, unfortunately the issue makes them completely useless to me. Problem didn’t manifest itself until after a couple 5 mile walks in the woods so I don’t feel right about returning them in this used condition. My first Dunham boot purchase, probably my last.

Ordered shoes on January 18 received a reply from Zappos they would arrive on the 20th. Today is the 29th and I'm still waiting for them to arrive. Out of frustration I went ahead and ordered a pair from Amazon and got them the next day. Guess I have to wait until the Zappos shoes arrive so that I can return them for a credit. Zappos never indicated that these shoes were out of stock or there was any reason that I should not order them and receive them in two days. What a waste of my time.

I just bought my third pair and it will be my last.Quality / Quality Control just not there anymore. Fit not the same as before. Shoelaces were not the same length, one being 4" longer than the other. Two minutes after placing my order I tried to modify to change the color. Their policy says such change is impossible once the order is placed. There are too many other options available to put up with that kind of customer abuse.

The fit was great, but within 10 miles of walking, a seam broke on the right boot, negating all waterproofing and starting a long tear. I cannot recommend buying this boot or similar.

This is the 3rd pair of this model, size and width of this boot I have purchased. I have always been pleased with the fit. On this order, the left boot had a bad rough/ pinch spot near the left foot big toe area, rubbing on the top of my left foot. Too bad since the right boot fit fine and the other 2 pair I have purchased also fit fine. Returned the order.

THESE BOOTS ARE NOT WATERPROOF. The tongue is completely porous and if you are walking in rain, or especially if you are wearing waterproof pants, the water drains off the pants onto the boot tongue and you get a shoe full of water. Do not buy these is want waterproof boots. Dunham selling them as waterproof is a serious misrepresentation.

Great fit, comfort and style. So why the one star? Seam on left boot split before walking (not backpacking with a load) not more than 25k. Disappointed.

I have a pair about a year old, and the sole is falling apart in multiple places. Terrible quality boots. 1 year warranty for seems very short for expensive boot. I think Rockport has chosen to abandon their previous reputation.

I had originally bought a pair of 14 wide of Dunhams from a brick and mortar store, they seemed to shrink the first time they got a little wet, I was unable to stretch them using shoe stretchers. Gave those to my brother. This pair I bought through Zappo's has served me well for about 7 or eight months. I specifically ordered a pair that was waterproof. I get a sense that the shoes are not well made as the sole has started to fall off the shoe, no longer waterproof and thus the shoe has no value to me. Kind of a bummer. The attached photos show my wet and dirty socks that I just took off along with a close up of the sole coming apart from the shoe. Note: I did reach out in chat to Zappo's, they indicated they are just a retailer dealing with lots of shoes. They did offer to help me find other waterproof boots that would fit.

Claims it is waterproof, yet on both pairs (2 different sizes), I noticed the black part where it meets the brown material is pulling away already and I haven't even worn them. Seems like poor quality, especially when compared to the New Balance ones I kept.

These boots suck! I bought them because they had 4E. Years ago, I always bought Dunham work boots. They were comfortable and never wore out. I can't believe I spent this much money on a boot that has less protection than my dock siders. I can feel #2 stone like I was wearing cheap moccasins. They are low cut, so there is no ankle protection. I still love Zappos. That is all. Out.

I had a pair of Cloud Waterproof boots originally made by Dunham. They finally started to get worn out so I ordered what I thought was the same boot with the same quality. To my surprise and chagrin, the new boot was inferior in all aspects except weight. The reason for the lighter weight was the reduction in good leather, stronger heels and all other features. I returned them INSTANTLY!

I really liked these boots at first. Very comfortable and wide enough for my flat feet. Unfortunately the soles started coming off after only hiking a little over 40 miles in them. Will not be purchasing this brand again.

The side of the front started to break apart after the first use. Totally not impressed for the money. Will have to repair before they can be worn again.

I've had these less than three months - and I wear them no more than three hrs a day total (four walks with the dog). I just wanted something waterproof for the wet morning grass, occasional rain storm or snow dusting. These were GREAT for the first two months - comfortable and dry. Now - they've both sprung leaks and my socks get soaked. UGH! Why can't anyone make a waterproof hiker that lasts more than a few months?
