The sole material is funny. Sneaks like crazy and does not have grip.

Fit was fine and looked good. However for me the sole flexed to much and did not give me the support I needed. After 6 hours of wearing on concrete floor my feet were killing me. NOTE: I called and was given a return label and immediately received a refund upon shipping them back. Excellent Customer Service.

This was a good looking shoe but felt narrow in the toe box. Other Dunham similar models felt more generously sized. Unfortunately, had to return.

The footed is very comfortable. My feet don't get tired in a 8 hour shift walking 4-5 miles on wet concrete. I only gave 3 stars because the rivits hurt the top of my foot in places and these are very stiff boots. Not good at all for crouching or kneeling position. Waterproof is very good. I do have narrow feet so the b width option is great because the normal width seems wider than standard.

These hiking shoes USED TO BE great. I'm on my third pair. My first two pairs each lasted years. I love the super-grippy sole for walking in snow. This recent third pair didn't last long at all. One of the lace eyelet rivets pulled right out of the leather within a month. Then the rubber molding surrounding the toes started peeling away within two months. Looks like quality has recently dropped since neither of these problems ever happened on my first two pairs.

I have multiple pairs of Dunham boots that I wear daily, and I find them to be superior to the other shoes/boots I've bought in the past; they are well-made and are truly comfortable.. That said, their sizing is really inconsistent, and I can't trust that two pairs in the same size and width will fit the same. Sometimes I find that they are narrower than marked, so a 4E fits me, other times, the 4E is too wide, as in this style. I returned the 4E and got the boot in D, hoping that they would fit, but sadly they didn't: the right boot fit perfectly, but they left foot is too narrow (and that's my smaller foot). I REALLY LIKE the Dunham's that fit, but I'm getting tired of returning others that don't. Thank you, Zappos, for your liberal return policy!!!

I need something with a wide toe box and the Dunham Addison is my favorite shoe of all time. Since the pandemic the Addison is out of stock. The Dunham Cloud shoe has a much narrower toe box than other Dunham shoes even though it is a wide shoe. So the Cloud is being returned and we will wait for the Addison to be back in stock.

I bought these 5 months ago, and have worn them very little. I originally didn't wear them to try and find out what makes them waterproof. Once no one at Dunham could tell me I decided after 1 month of owning them, to start walking my husky in them. I had to walk in a rain storm, not in puddles, but in a moderate rain. after just a few blocks of walking, I could feel the cold water on the top of my foot. I went to the store I bought them at and was told to try to waterproof them with a spray. I did this waterproofing spray, and specifically wore them in the rain again. Within 3 blocks of starting to walk in the rain, I could feel the wetness of my socks on the top of my foot again. I bought these as an option to my heavier hiking boots for spring/summer/fall hikes and walking my dog when the weather isn't the best. After waterproofing waterproof boots my feet still get wet. I will say they are really really comfortable to wear in nice weather, and breath well too ( for a "waterproof" boot).

Comfortable out of the box, light but nice on the trail. But after not too much wear they are coming apart on the side where the boot flexes. Too bad, wide sized boots aren't easy to find

Loved the look. Seem great quality, great width for this extra wide foot but footbed has too much happening for this flat footed girl. Even with testing quality shoe inserts. I couldn't get them comfortable. I'll be calling to send back and asking about other possibilities.

These look better in person than the picture imply. And, except for being far narrower than marked, they're very comfortable. I wish Dunham made these in a 6E like they do for their other shoe models. Alas, these only go up to 4E, which is really just 2E (Normal, wide, extra wide), so if you've truly wide feel, you'll need to size up to get the width. I've ordered a full-size larger and a half-size larger, both in 4E, to try to get the width right. The full size up feels enormous in terms of length, but the width feels pretty good at the midfoot and much more roomy at the forefoot. I worry about having too much length in a hiking boot (can't feel your toes on the ground), so I'm holding off on returning the full-size up until the half-size ups come in for comparison. They are true to size in terms of length, just narrow at the midfoot and tight in the forefoot. Re quality, one pair had an eyelet come completely off the shoes as I tried to lace up. I've never had that happen before, but it's clearly a manufacturing defect. If you buy these and they fit, give a light tug on each lace at the eyelet to make sure it's properly secured before you go for a hike so you don't get hurt, and so you can still return them before it's too late if you need to. Ultimately, I really want this boot to work. It's good looking, a good shape, seems well-built (notwithstanding the goofy eyelet issue), and the grip looks and feels phenomenal. Maybe some day they'll do a 6E (2xw) in these and I'll buy 4 or 5 pairs all at once to stockpile them. Until then, check on a half-size up at the same width for folks who are normally a 4E.

Overall I like these boots. I take a 11.5, 4E and these felt true. The only problem is that the right boot, near the toe, has a noticeable bump. I feel it on the bottom of my big toe. I tried putting a different insole in the boot, but that didn't help. Not sure if this will work itself out. I ordered another pair in the same size hoping it was the boot, but I had the same problem with the second pair also. They may be from the same production batch which may have a flaw in sole.

This boot fit true to size and width but the stiff rubber toecap didn't give enough for my big toe. I'm an 8 4E.I started getting a hot spot at about 10 mins., so I had to return these.

My typical size is 15D but I had found that my Dunhams I've purchased lately seemed to be too small. So I'd ordered a pair of Dunham Addisons in 16D and they are a good fit where I had been wearing 15D. Ordered a pair of Dunham 8000 Mid in 16 and they were good. So I ordered my first pair of Cloud Waterproof in 16D and my toes were crammed against the toe of the shoes. Go figure. Otherwise, I liked the shoes. I've sent them back and awaiting a refund on those.

These apparently run very small compared to other Dunhams I've bought in the past. I usually wear 15D but recent Dunhams I have bought recently seemed to have been smaller than usual. I bought another style of Dunham ankle high shoes in 16 to see how it was and they fit fine. So I ordered these in that size and my toes are jammed into the end of the shoes. Go figure. I gave middle of the road star ratings because I was unable to wear these any at all so I can't do a good review other than they were waayyy small. They looked good though.

And this is why I don't do fast reviews. Felt great out of the box. But on first walk the fatal flaw as another reviewer called it was revealed. Going downhill on a smooth city street all the tension was transmitted to the ball of the feet and the metatarsils. Had to turn around and put on some old Eccos. A good shoe for some but not for me.

This is my second pair of Dunham Cloud boots. The first pair fit perfectly. The second pair was at least one full size too small, narrower than marked and the two shoes do not seem to be the same size. I am not sure if the shoes were mislabeled, if the manufacturing company in China changed their lasts or simply poor quality control. It is a decent boot but be careful when ordering. Thankfully Zappos allowed me to return the shoe for a full refund.

This is a nice looking boot with really nice leather uppers. However, I wear a 4E (which I ordered) and the toe area was a little tight. My toes were rubbing against the inside of the boots on both feet. Padding inside the boot on the sole and heal of the foot was marginal, it did not feel like a really well padded boot that I would want to spend all day in. Outside sole design looks great and that is probably why this boot has high marks for traction and slip resistance. My opinion, looks to me like soles on this boot would do well in light snow, but I obviously did not test them.

The comfort reminded me of military style jungle boots, not much in the sole. The width seemed fine as I increased in elevation, however when coming back down and the weight was forward I definitely felt the rocks and terrain on the front of the shoe. Also my toes felt crushed in the front of the shoe. I like the style of the boot but it is not worth the $145 dollars I paid.

I ordered this with confidence after owning two previous pairs (15 Narrow). However, I had to return them because they have shrunk. I sense these are no longer manufactured to the original specifications. They looked the same but they felt different besides being too small. My foot hasn’t grown. Dunham shrunk the Cloud.

Definitely one of the first hikers with a true wide size, that was nice. But quality was poor - first pair had bad stitching and material came apart on first wear. Second pair lasted longer but by one year fabric came unstitched at both big toe and little toe mound.
