Love this sneakers! A little bigger than my daughter's other pairs but thats fine. Extra wide is just that! I usually have a hard time finding shoes to fit my daughter's feet but there is no challenge here!

My son has XW feet and likes having velcro closures. These are the ONLY shoes I've found that meet both criteria. He says they are comfortable. They hold up very well, but admittedly, he's not very hard on his shoes. He outgrows them before they wear out. He is now up to a size 2 Big Kid and this is our 5th pair of these. I'll keep buying them as long as they keep making them in his size!

My son really likes these sneakers. We need them for school and they are very comfortable for him.

My 7 year wears these as his school shoes and says they are very comfortable. He loves being able to do them up himself as he cannot yet tie shoe laces. Great all leather shoe that fit true to size and hasnt caused any blisters or discomfort.

This is my sons favorite shoe! It looks a bit bulky but he says they are comfortable and hasn't complained once about his feet hurting.

These shoes have lasted so long! I actually got to pass them onto my nephew once my son outgrew them.

I chose this shoes for my son who has big feet and really tears up some sneakers! They are great - the Velcro allows for wider feet and they have held up well now - it's been a month of running, jumping, playing in snow and sun.

Great school shoes! Seem to be even better quality than the Stride Rite ones I've previously been buying.

I love these shoes for my 4 year old. I actually wanted to buy another pair but they are out of his size. They are easy on and off for him. I definitely recommend these!

Our grandson just loved the shoes. We would give this shoes a 10 star rating if possible!! I have used New Balance shoes for over 25years, and having wide feet, I find them especially comfortable. Our grandson has wide feet so we decide to try them. He gave it a 2 thumbs up and loves them!! Also, Zappos has the fastest shipping bar none. We needed the shoes on the following Monday, and I ordered the shoes on Tuesday evening. The shoes was at our doorstep by noon on Thursday, way before the Monday deadline. Thank you very much!!

Great shoes for a great price. My sons love them.

I bought these shoes for my daughter to wear over her AFOs. The wide width is excellent for accommodating the bulk of the braces and the toe box is roomy. If you are buying these to go over braces, the only issue is the length of the straps. We had to remove the insole and cut out the tongue of the shoe to eliminate enough bulk to get the straps to close properly.

Our daughter uses these shoes for her school uniform. They withstand the use of active child and hold up well. We recently purchased another pair because she outgrew them.

While these look a little bulky, they are actually pretty light.

I LOVE this shoe. I was wearing my old ones of the same number, brand and color when I found it on sale. Of course, I ordered a new pair to wear, or put in the closet for a future day. They fit perfectly on my feet and I am hard to please. I wear a 2 XW, and it fits so well and I can walk perfectly. I am an adult with small, but wide feet. I also adore the Velcro straps and have never gone back to shoelaces since my first pair 3 years ago with the Velcro. I love this shoe in solid white, solid black and this white one with the blue trim. I own all of them. I love this shoe, it feels good, it fits well and looks very classic in any of the colors. If they quit making this shoes *please warn me, so I can buy 100 pairs, or I would be up a creek without shoes to wear !

Love these shoes for my kids school uniforms. They can run around at recess in them and they are decent enough for them to wear to church.

This is the second pair of shoes we brought after my son outgrew his last pair. He is required to wear black shoes for school and having wide feet, it is always a challenge to find something that will fit him in stores or at a price that is reasonable. These shoes offere great arch support and hold up well daily wear. The Velcro straps are convenient for school. The black model is completely black, no obvious stitching or logos that stand out so it complies with the dress code. We love them and will keep buying more when he outgrows his shoes again.

I have being buying these for my daughter for Physical Education classes for about 5 years now. she loves them. they have great arch support and the ease at which she can take them off and put them on is foremost for her. Great sneakers. They run a half size larger than marked but she grows into them.

The NB KV624 is a great shoe and Zappos is the only place I can consistantly find extra wide in larger sizes. Always ships fast and free returns make it easy to get right size for kids with extra wide feet. I just wish New Balance had a larger selection of velcro extra wide shoes in youth sizes. My son is 6 and wears a 4 XW Youth and still needs velcro so this shoe is really his only option. I can always count on Zappos to have his size.
