The backpack is a decent size for my first grader. Not too small like a preschool backpack and not so large that it looks like she is a turtle. The quality is not as nice as my son's High Sierra, especially the back padding. There is no ventilation channel in the back padding. One of the bright white straps has a large orangish-yellow stain on it. I'm going to have to cut both nylon straps then reseal the ends with a lighter. If the straps were purple you probably wouldn't be able to tell. I'm also expecting the bright white straps to kid worn and stained. I generally try not to buy anything white when it comes to kids clothes/backpacks. The unicorn pattern is great. My daughter loves the backpack despite its flaws. QA could be better.

We haven't tried it out yet because it's for school but it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be but other than that the quality looks okay

This is a nice backpack for my daughter. However, we've only had it since mid-March and there is a big rip in the water bottle mesh holder. It's frustrating because now I have to place it inside the backpack rather than its designated spot.

Cheap and basic. Comfortable for a kid. Holds up well.

Wish it had two bottle holders instead of one. It's worth it for the price paid.

LOVED IT , USED IT. FOR YEARS. WHEN I CAME BACK EAST, I WAS BEATEN , MUGGED AN THE PACK WAS STOLEN . I HAVE WANTED TO REPLACE IT. BUT HAD NO LUCK SO FAR FINDING THIS PLACE. ANY IDEAS????

Love the design but not thrilled with the quality.

Great choices, we got this in the blue, black, and the unicorn style and all the kids love it. High Sierra backpacks always seem to hold up well for us my son has one from 3 years ago that looks practically new. My only complaint is the water bottle pocket is way oversized. Any kids water bottle falls out, perhaps it's intended to fit 2 bottles but they don't need 2 so it's inconvenient as is.

I bought this for two of my children for school. It's a nice size and seems durable, but the area designed for a water bottle is way too large. Regardless what size water bottle I pack it falls out of the cup holder for both kids.

the backpack had a pocket for the headphones cord not the actual usb port on the bag and i use it in the rain my kindle was in the backpack where you put the book at and when i get to the store to read my grocery list off the kindle say i have wet in the charger port so i had to wait 25 mins to dry it out to use my kindle to shop.

Well made overall, material is a bit on the cheap side. Probably don't buy this one if you are going to carry a lot of heavy stuff. Durability could be an issue

I did not like that there was no iPad or laptop sleeve :(

Was disappointed. Bought for 8 year old daughter for school. Front pocket is too long and deep. Things will get lost. Overall flimsy backpack.

Design is nice but the quality on the bottom part of the bag is not good. The material is very thin- pretty much see through.

Received product and looks nice we will have to see if they hold up overtime. Tag say lifetime limited warranty and there was a paper inside backpack with instructions to register. I followed the instructions and could not register the product via text or on their website.

Looks like inexpensive back pack..not really what l need..cost prohibitive to return

Not at all a quality as per the brand. Very disappointed. Paid for shipping on top of that.
