Was the perfect sized backpack for my second grader.

It's a big enough backpack for my 7th grader. She loves the fabric but the fabric it's in the thin side. Don't know it's gonna hold the whole year like the one from last year. Love the brand.

Same great quality...a little on the smaller side.

It looks like a decent backpack but I didn't like the material which feels rough. I'm waiting to see how it holds up for my child's academic year.

Great for a kid but did not work for me as I thought it had a laptop section but it doesn't

My kids and I have owned and loved HighSierra backpacks. I purchased 10 for community kids in need, donating them without opening the shipping box.

Super cute! Lots of space for everything needed for school. Only complaint is the thin material and the bottom part that would hit the floor would probably wear out quick. Hoping I don't have to replace a back pack in a couple months.

Decent backpack. It isn't as thick and padded as my LL Bean backpack but for the price, it will do the job. I do like the curved design and pocket space.

Seems to be made of high quality material, zippers move easily, and the colors are exactly as pictured. Seems to have adequate space. The only think lacking is a dedicated pouch for a tablet. Overall it seems like it should be a great backpack for a kid. It hasn't been used, though, so this review may change.

It's an amazing backpack. I'm a high school student and am currently taking many AP classes. I need as much space as I can and I had a jansport but it wasn't as spacious as I hoped for. High sierra gives me the space I need although the backpack I purchased does not come with a laptop sleeve it's still pretty good 9/10

I can't really fairly rate this bag. It didn't work for what my son needed. He needed a bag with a laptop pocket and something a little more sturdy. It looks like a nice bag. I'm going to give as a gift to someone else who can use it.

So far so good! These are a bigger backpack, but I think they will be great

My daughter loves the mermaid design, and it's large enough to fit all of her stuff. It even survived an apple juice explosion and was super easy to clean. Two things I didn't love: the length of the straps that hang down when you adjust the backpack and the water bottle pocket. The straps were quite long and would swing back and forth on my daughters legs when she would walk. It was a pretty easy fix, I just folded them up and quickly sewed the pieces together to make them shorter. The elastic on the water bottle pocket is a little loose/large. My daughter has a pretty large water bottle and it still tends to fall out when she sets the backpack down.

I bought it for myself but my granddaughter decided she "needed it'! So I decided to just find me a smaller ine for myself.

Used it for 3 months now. Overall its good product.

I needed a backpack for work. The price was amazing so I thought I'd give it a shot. A great surprise for the price I payed. Good compartments. Good zippers. Only four stars because the bottom is a little thin. If it lasts I will go up to five stars.

Stylish and functional backpack. It holds everything my kids need for school. The only drawback is the thin bottom. I just know it's going to rip this year as they drag it behind them.

bought this for my middle school girls, wish it was a little larger as a binder doesnt fit well. It will go in but its tight

We've bought High Sierra bags in the past, but this one isn't made as well. It will work and is sturdy-i don't expect any problems. However, I would've liked it to be a bit more padded and the seams more structured.

The bottom need extra layers or more reinforcement. Very good overall for the price.

I am walking 2 miles to work in the morning and taking the bus home at night. This bag fits my work clothes and lunch box plus my everyday carry items. It's light and doesn't really add to the carry weight. It has decent compartments. Wish High Sierra would include pics of the insides of products--such as the main compartment--as it felt like a gamble to purchase without being able to see that. I turned out to be lucky this time, but would have felt more confident in my purchase with more pictures available. Would like the mesh compartment on the shoulder strap to be slightly bigger to accommodate larger phones, but not so much that it doesn't hold it tightly. I like that there are grommets on the ends of the adjustable shoulder straps in case I needed to hook stuff on, I could see using a carabiner to hook a lunchbox or a pair of shoes in a bag, or a waterbottle if needed. I haven't been able to figure out the "USB port" feature. Been using for two weeks, it seems like it could hold up for a while. Time will tell. Over happy with the purchase.
