I used it on a day hike trip to one of the islands west to Southern California. I was amazed that it can load so much stuff. The backpack itself is very lightweight but has great quality. Very pleased with the purchase.

This is a great quality backpack, I purchased for my daughter for school. It is the only backpack that will hold up the entire year, including the water bottle mesh holder. You can actually use this backpack for two school years, it holds up that well!

Great backpack for a great price

This is a true daypack for walking and cycling around town, short hikes, festivals, and days out at parks and gardens. It's roomy but light. No special laptop or tablet padding keeps the weight down. The material used is strong enough for ordinary use to not need a heavy reinforced pack bottom. I have other High Sierra backpacks for other uses, but I don't want to carry the extra weight when I don't need it. I like the long pocket in front in addition to the organizer pocket so I can keeo my bicycle lock and things separate. Other times I use it for bird books and binoculars. It's also added protection for the organizer pocket in crowds. The main compartment is large enough for a jacket or sweater, snacks and shopping - all I need. I would prefer two water bottle pockets because I often walk with a dog. The available colors are good, but for versatility and color coordination I would also like a fabric pattern combining the various shades of bluejean blues, with white sidestrips for visibility. Also something combining camo colors without being a camo design.

Great product!

This is just what I needed for everyday use around the city! Its simple design looks equally good whether carrying a light load or a lot of extra stuff. The pack seems to be sturdy and well-made and is comfortable to carry.

I'm a mom who needed a backpack for Disney World. Used this as my airplane carry on and our whole trip through parks, etc. Very comfortable and great unusual color so my family could easily spot me. Carried a multitude of books, crayons, pens, sunscreen, Purell, wallet, sunglasses, bathing suits, granola bars, and other things-- always comfortable and always fit on rides. My 12 year old uses it for school now because its "cool enough". Very well made and very happy with it in general!

Bought for my 9 year old daughter. She loves it. I love it too. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It wasn't a pattern I would have chosen, but it really is fabulous. Has a pocket for her water bottle and plenty of room for all her stuff.

I just received the backpack, it looks okay. The quality is not as expected, but it is good quality considering the price.

Nice and sturdy - I wish there was a place to snap the lunch box to.

This backpack has fabric thinner than other high sierra backpacks that we have purchased. It is a good size that my 7 year old can wear for years to come if it holds up like the others. The zippers seem strong.

It's cute and roomy. The only thing that would make it better would be a pocket inside to keep your IPad secure.
