The shoelaces are probably 12 inches too long. They require that they be changed and changing the shoelaces on these sneakers is a nuisance, requiring extensive time. In addition, I have to go to purchase new shoelaces, which is ridiculous. This is the second time I have submitted this complaint. Unfortunately, no one has followed up.

Falling apart in 15 months. Sole just delaminated. Not enough support for a lot of walking. Needed wide and extra big for my toes, but have to tighten laces to much for the rest of my foot shape.

This shoe sounds great in the reviews. This particular New Balance shoe in my size, however -- 9.5 2E -- is at least 1/2" wider than other New Balance shoes of the same size that I have worn and wear. From first glance, the shoe looked like a boat, from stem (shoe box) to stern (heel).

This is a tough review, because I think these would be excellent, five star shoes if you account for the need to order a half to full size larger shoe than you normally would. I wear size 13 and just couldn't make myself exchange to try a 14, so I just returned. Very light, nice support, a bit of a downward profile like many walking shoes. Good looking and understated.

These shoes were way to tight despite us ordering a 3E. We tried every which way to loosen up the shoe, so we could see how they felt, but my dad was not able to get his foot into the shoe. He was disappoint because he has had a lot of luck with this company in the past, but just not this time.

I usually wear a 9.5AA but ordered the 10AA to accommodate my walking/hiking socks. While the heel is narrow the toe box is much too wide and my foot moved around too much. I tried replacing the New Balance insole with my superfeet insole but this did not help stabilize my feet. So I am returning these shoes.

Been buying NB"s for years. This Model shoe is somewhat tight in the toe area. First time I had a problem with the fit. Like the leather models because it gives me more support. Thinking of returning and getting a different model cross-trainer. Shoe only has 5-eyelets and never seems to be snug enough. I walk 5-6 days a week. Used a mesh pair of shoes, but the fit gives and they loose their snugness. Don't know what has happened; being as I paid top-dollar for the NB's.
Not to happy with the design.

I am a longtime fan of New Balance shoes, but this model fell short for me. For most people, these might be okay, especially for short term wear, but I work all day on concrete floors and after about 4 hours, the cushioning in these just wasn't cutting it anymore and I was in pain, even with my Superfeet insoles. If you dopn't have bad arches or bone spurs, you might be ok with these,but I find even the 574's to hold up better than this model in terms of comfort.

I ordered these for work, where we have strict uniform requirements. They were no worse than any other shoe that I've had for work, but certainly not superior in any way either. I normally wear and 11 Wide, so that's what I ordered, and I have to cinch the laces up as tight as they will go in order for them to fit. I wouldn't necessarily discourage anyone from buying them, but I will be trying something else this next go round.

I loved the look of these shoes, but the length was not true to size. I always wear a size 12 in New Balance, and these felt a whole size too small. I liked the insole, but there was NO arch support whatsoever! I've had foot problems and need a shoe with good arch support. Usually I have no problems when getting New Balance shoes!! Alas these were a no go for me!

Both my last 2 pairs came apart. The upper separated from the soles. The last pair was only a few months old. I called NB and although
I had no proof on purchase they agreed to send me a new pair at greatly reduced visit and with free shipping.
