Gift for my Hubs .. he LOVES NB and for once he actually is liking more than just plain old white on white. Love Zappos!

Really like this lead color. A little more subdued or muted than many tennis shoes today. Fit is good but they want to rub a blister on one big toe. Good every day shoe. Not using as a running shoe so I can't speak to that.

Bought black sneakers because white ones just look filthy after a day or two on the job. But I didn't think they would look so much like my grandfather's orthotics! But they are comfortable and fit well and were reasonably priced so I would definitely recommend them for someone looking for a well made pair of sneakers that fit well.

This model of New Balance felt too small. Another model of New Balance in the same size felt just right.

I'm in audio visual/ low voltage/ security industry. I do a lot of walking, crouching and climbing on ladders. Most gym shoes do not provide enough stiffness in the sole for standing on ladder rungs. Work boots do but can be too uncomfortable. I generally don't need boots. These shoes are the perfect of both worlds. Stiff enough sole so I can stand on a ladder all day and still soft and light enough to walk around all day in. THANKS ZAPPOS! Arrives right on time before my next big job.

This an amazingly well built shoe with firm sidewalls that provide great ankle support. The soles are very soft and supportive and have stayed that way after daily use over the last 3 months. The tongue does come up a bit high so you need to wear at minimum ankle socks. I love that the shoes come in extra wide sizes which is amazing for my feet. If you're looking for a daily driver to support you on the go, at work, or for minor athletic activities.

Great shoe, but if you don't like the feel of memory foam insoles, you won't like the feel of these either.

Have worn New Balance for years. Particularly like this style. My feet are difficult to fit because they are extremely flat. These have always provided an excellent fit. When I first purchased this model, they were the only sport tennis shoe made in the U.S. which meant they were a little more expensive than others except for Nike. The quality seems to have slipped a little thus the 4 star overall rating. Out of the six or seven pairs I have purchased over the years, I had one sole separation within two months of purchasing the shoes and was required to purchase another pair. Could have complained and asked for a refund at that time but I didn't because that was my first and as it turns out, my only experience like that. On two other pairs and much more wear and tear, the part of the sole that wraps in front of the toe began to separate. In each case, the shoes were near the point of needing to be replaced anyway. All three of theses instances occurred with shoes made overseas rather than the U.S. Still, a 4-star rating is good and I believe fair.

I had never ordered from Zappo's before and was a bit reluctant as I have had bad experiences when ordering shoes on line but with their shipping polices and help on the phone regarding correct sizing,I was happy with my shoes on the first try.Whenever I need shoes,I will to Zappos first.

Nice basic walking shoe. I had to exchange once for prior fit, but I find I wear different sizes with different NB shoes.

This sneaker is good in all ways except the darn laces are too long,a good 10 inches to long. I had to buy 45 inch laces & relace them. originals are 56 inches.

I've been wearing 608's for awhile now and I'm liking this latest version. It's a perfect walking shoe... as long as you keep to mostly flat paved surfaces or Dirt Roads. It's just a sneaker not a trail shoe and if you try to use it as such they fall apart pretty quick. I have also had problems with the tread separating from the right shoe at the heel due to friction from the floor mat in my truck. For a 70 dollar shoe they are kind of fragile and I find It best to by a couple pairs and on a daily basis alternate them to get a longer life span out of Them. Cheers!

We live in a fairly temperate climate and wear tennis shoes a good bit of the year, so we like them to last. We have bought this style several times before and like them. However, do not expect them to last forever. The stitching on our last pair began coming loose about a month, and the inside of one shoe was worn out in about eight months. The quality simply is nit what it used to be. But if you can handle shoes starting to lose their feel in eight or nine months, these are fine.

I've worn the V2s and the V3s. The V4s are a little harder on my feet. The fit *seems* the same, but in the first week I've had a few irritations on my heels.

I appreciate the styles Zappos offer. The online services are quick and friendly. The prices are affordable and appreciated with today's cost of having a family.

I have been struggling to find the right pair of shoes for many years. I tried on a pair of New Balance MX608's many years ago at a Target and have been buying them ever since. They are true-to-size. They fit well and they come in wide sizes which fit my feet perfectly. The only downside is they last about 4-5 months. I do exercise daily so this puts additional stress on them. The other downside is, according to Zappos Support, New Balance only offers a 5-month warranty. If the shoes were more durable and had a better warranty, I would rate these 5-stars across the board.

Great price. After wearing for a week, I like the light weight, but the construction seems a little thin. For my next purchase, I am going to move up in price a little in the product line.

Comfortable, but the fabric on the top of the toes is very weak. I've had 2 pairs and all 4 shoes have holes above the big toe. The soles are still fine but the shoes are shot because of this.
