I have never written a Zappos review before but I really appreciate reviews left by others and I absolutely love these booties so I thought that I would share. They are beautiful! They are cuter in person than online and made of a really soft, high quality leather. They look great with skinny jeans - not too casual, not too formal - and I think that I will wear them with leggings and skirts, too (which is saying a lot - I have big feet and thin ankles and am really self-conscious about short boots). Most importantly, I wanted to comment on the sizing: these run a full size big. I wear a firm 11, which means I usually go for a 42, but I went ahead and ordered the 41 and 42 at the same time after reading other reviews (thanks, Zappos' return policy). The 41 fits me perfectly - there is actually a bit of room to spare at the toe. They are rather narrow, which is great for my feet but might be challenging for someone who needs a wider fit.

This boot lists that it has a leather upper, leather lining, and man-made sole and heel. Note that this boot is made from top grain, not full grain, leather. Leather type is quite hard to discern from pictures and the descriptions are usually vague. Thus, the vamp and side areas of the boot are quite thin and will stretch with wear. The bottom sole and heel are rubber, slightly textured on the heel to similate a stacked heel, but I will probably take them to a cobbler to put a Vibram sheet on the bottom to increase traction in wet conditions. The footbed and body are slightly narrow, but this strectched after just a few hours of wear. I expect the leather will take multiple wears to stretch to fit. I normally wear a 7 on my left foot and a 7.5 on my right and the 37s fit a bit tight - room in the toe but tight across the top of foot. I bought both a 37 and 38 and kept the 37 as it will stretch, expecially considering how thin the leather is. The toe box is set forward such that my toes were not in the rounded portion of the shoe and were not cramped. The toe cap itself is stiff but not too hard - do not kick a wall while wearing these as you will hurt toes. The shoe is longer than my foot and kind of elongates my foot. My feet do look a size bigger while wearing them because of the long toe box and the space on the top of the boot vamp - as the picture shows, the center top edge does not lay flat against the top of my foot. Rather, it stands out from the foot and there is a 0.75" space between the top of my foot to the boot front while I am wearing them. The color is a normal cognac, not too redish, but must be set with leather conditioner or wax before wear to prevent wear to prevent horizontal wear lines across the toes and top of vamp. Water does not seems to hurt the dye too much - my boots got sprinkled on as I walked across a parking lot (before I waxed them) and the drops dried without leaving water marks. Zipper seems sturdy but I expect it will be the first thing to fail, since the rest of the stitching seems well done. Overall, a nice boot with decent build quality. The price point is such that I did not expect them to be made from full grain leather, but the leather that is there is real (not bonded) and constructed well. Very stylish and looks great with cuffed skinny jeans.

Love these booties! I have been looking for chic style, beautiful leather and Comfort and I found it. Oh my. I cannot say enough. I wear a 7 and 1/2M. These come in 38=7 and 1/2-8. There is definitely 1/2 size of room left, but they are for fall and winter and I will be wearing socks or a liner -- so they are perfect. The width is a regular medium. Soft leather like no other boots I tried on for the season, with a flexible sole. Beautifully made in Spain. Thank you. Worth more than they cost. Mmmmmmwhaaaaa! Get them.

Beautiful shoes! I bought in navy. They run about a 1/2 size big but still worked for me. To check the size I re-ordered one size smaller and received a completely different shoe- instead of navy these were robin egg BLUE and stamped with "made in Portugal." Very odd! I returned the blue shoes and kept the navy pair. Zappos, check your quality control.

These booties are so comfortable right out of the box. At first, was a bit disappointed with the upper material, but as I wore them I found they were perfect for Virginia winter weather. They wipe off perfect and am so pleased to have a nice looking, comfy bootie that isn't delicate. Another great boot from Zappos.

These look even better in person. They are just the right amount of classy and rocker style. I've only had them for about a week but am already obsessed. I really don't like anything too tight around my ankles, and these give just a little bit of room without being oversized. The leather feels so nice - both outside and inside of the shoe. The inside says that the shoes are handmade. I wore them through a freak rainstorm and was a bit worried because I haven't yet treated them with weather proofer. However, it looked like the rain hadn't touched them. It just beaded off. I'll still take them to my shoe repair guy just to get his thoughts on care, but these seem to be pretty easy to care for. I think these will last for a very long time.

I have tried on two sizes of these Londons recently. I almost always wear size 41 in Naots, 9½ in US sizes, and so I initially ordered size 40 in these boots. They fit pretty well, though I found the outside zipper to be awkward to use. Also, there is no tread at all on the synthetic smooth sole, so I think they might be slippery in wet/snowy weather. That is not good. I returned them. I ordered size 39 in another color and guess what? They fit even better! I am definitely not a size 8 or 8½! So they run half to a full size larger. On this smaller size, the outside zipper rubs on heel a bit so I may not keep them either. Sigh. I guess I would wear a 39½ if such existed. That is too bad. They are beautiful soft leather, attractive, simple, and not too pointy. The zipper operates pretty smoothly. The heel is a nice height - about 1¼", my maximum.

These are the softest, most comfortable booties I've ever tried. I have fibromalgia - so, everything always feel uncomfortable - and this was NOT the case. Just perfect.

This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft and there was no pressure on the top of my foot as I have a high instep. I am a size 10 medium as I like to wear a light sock with my booties unless I am wearing tights. I ended up purchasing these as a gift for someone else also after my experience and she feels the same way.

I LOVE THESE BOOTIES. I bought them a second time, a year later--that's how much I love them. The leather is so soft and stretches to fit your feet perfectly. The support is so comfortable--I wear these all day walking around NYC, and my feet don't hurt. And they are super cute. The reason I had to buy new boots is that the inner lining ripped at the heel, so my foot kept catching on it while taking off the shoes. It got to be annoying. However, having worn these nearly every day in fall & cold weather, including on job sites (I climb on scaffolds to do facade inspections), I think I got a reasonable amount of wear out of them. Now I leave the old pair in the office to change into for site visits, and my new ones will hopefully not get as beat up.

I got these boots on sale, so I bought both the bright red and the burgundy. I wish I had bought the navy blue as well. They are classic, comfortable, and fun to wear with jeans, leggings, or dresses.

The color is perfect it is a very subtle navy not a bright navy blue blends well with most things perfect for when you don’t want black. With a thin sock These felt a little bit more like a 6.5 in the 36, however with a thicker sock they fit great not too narrow. I have relatively narrow feet in these did not flop around at all. The pictures I showed her after two years of wear and tear. I wear them fairly regularly, mostly indoors but I do walk outside and then to and from work

These shoes are like butta! They are so comfortable. A little bit roomy but I wear an insole so they were perfect right out the box. The leather is gorgeous. They are good looking shoes! I love that they don't come up too high, they look good with my skinny jeans. Thank you for carrying these Zappos. I am in love. They look so high end.

Reviews said they can run a little big so I ordered a 41 instead of 42. I have tricky feet - long, different sizes and very narrow. This size worked well. Comfy inside and love the style. I’ve gotten several compliments on them already. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the 3rd pair of Eric Michael London ankle boots that I own(navy, red, black). Other than sneakers or house shoes, I have never experienced such comfort in a shoe. The ankle boots are perfect with jeans and pants, however, I wish they made dressier more sophisticated shoes for a dress up occasions.

These are great comfortable low boots that go with about anything. I wear these with pants and skirts. Dress them up or done. I love these boots.

Love!! I am normally a 6 (36) and returned the 6 because were 1/2 size too large. The 35 was a little tight but stretched enough to make them comfortable after wearing. I wouldn’t count on them stretching very much as they are a higher quality leather. I bought the navy and they are a perfect color to blend with dark blue or true navy.

I was looking for a high quality leather boot in red - this is it. The size of 6 M (EU36) is perfect for me. The color is a rich red with some distressing on the toe. Comfortable right out of the box. The top fits loosely, providing comfort of movement. Beautiful boots.

The leather is butter-soft. The sole is quality and will hold up through years of wear. The only drawback is the lack of a more comfortable foot-plate. I would expect on an expensive boot such as these for there to be quality cushioning and more arch support. My true size is in between a 40 and 41, so I added my own arch support for both a better fit and more comfort and wore thin socks to get the best fit.

I never write reviews...although I read them so plan to do better. Anyway need to echo the review that I read before purchasing these and that is that I wear a size 11. Always. The reviewer said the same and said that a size 10 was the correct size for these shoes—they were right on the money. My size 10’s fit perfectly and these really are classy short boots that work with skirts and jeans.

Very good looking and a real dark navy. But, they do run big. I had to return them.

These are really handsome booties---nice leather and comfortable. I learned that I probably need a lace-up style because of past injuries--my only reason for returning-- and highly recommend otherwise. highly recommend otherwise.

Love these booties, excellent quality, well made. Got them in the green. It's a dark understated green. Sharp looking. Feel slightly snug but after wearing a couple of times they are now very comfy.
