These boots were average. I did not like the gold zippers on the side. I tried on several different brands of booties and these were not as comfortable as the Frye. I returned the Eric Michael.

Nice looking boot, but poor dye job on the leather. I bought the grey, which is sort of a greenish grey. The dye was already looking worn just from being in the box. All along where the foot would crease, or where the ankle rubs, the leather had lost its color. If you don't mind an 'antique' look, might be OK, but I wanted something more polished.

The shoe is very good looking. I felt the leather in the upper front was too stiff. When I walked it didn’t bend but pushed into my ankle. Sadly I am returning them fir this reason.

These fit much smaller than expected, and quite narrow in the toe box. Much more boxy and plastic-y appearing than I anticipated.

The fit an size was good but there was very little arch support. The lack of arch support made my ankles want to turn in. Like other boots better so I returned these.

How do you rate shoes that are both pleasing AND disappointing? You give them a three. SIZE. Though the fit was hard to get right with these boots, I am pleased with how they feel. I am a size 7 and always order a size 37 european. I did so with these and, though very comfortable (like butter), they were too big. I reordered a size 36, and though still comfortable enough, they are a bit narrow (on the area of the foot where one may have bunions). I decided to keep the 36, and like another reviewer, stretch them. Finger crossed, right Anne (reviewer on Amazon, July 18, 2015)? COLOR. Here lies the disappointment. I ordered the navy...and got black. I called Zappos (where I had made the online purchase) and returned them, telling them they had mistakingly put black boots in the navy box. They were very gracious and had UPS pick up the shoes for me to return. They also sent me a coupon for a discount on my next Zappos purchase since they perceived the error to be theirs. I then reordered the boots (changing sizes from 37 to 36). I was so excited for my navy boots! I had already picked the outfit I was going to wear, requiring blue at my feet for the elongated look. Finally they arrived. I opened the box. Anticipation swelled. BLACK! As I looked closely at these boots, and asked others, all agreed they are kind of, sort of, maybe, under certain light, navy, the darkest navy they had ever seen (mind you, this was only after I told them the boots were navy in response to them answering black). I was very tempted to return them again, mope, then carry on, but alas, I kept the little navy but black boots because, well, they are comfortable enough.

Just wasn’t comfortable. Didn’t like the way it looked on my feet.

Material was nice and soft but the fit was reallly weird- I am normally a 9 and the 8.5-9 was slipping on my heel and the 8 was way too small. Sadly returned.

BEWARE Navy color is not as shown. In the picture, it's a very dark navy, almost a blue-black. In person, it's a fairly light-to-medium blue -- nothing navy about it. I see that another reviewer had the same problem. Need better quality control on this item!

The leather is very soft. Almost too soft. I did to keep them because they were too big and loose.

I loved the look of the leather online but the quality was not good when I received them. I wish the leather looked like it does in the picture.

The bootie color look nothing like the photo/description. I ordered navy blue and I received a bright, robin’s egg blue. The toe is a bit darker (see photo), but the majority of the boot is a very bright blue. They are going back.

The shoe does not accommodate bunions. This question was asked by another customer with no definitive answer provided. Unlike a Paul Green shoe or other brands, this one is clearly for those not affected by bunions.

I have a pair of these shoes that I bought a few years ago, so I ordered a different color. The shoes I received are very poor quality. I didn't even bother trying them on. There is a very rough cross seam inside. Although the style appears similar to my older Eric Michael London boots, this is not the same product! Even the pattern on the outer sole is not as illustrated. And the heel itself is smaller. The leather is slightly deformed by the packing. Very disappointed!

This was the most adorable bootie EVER! However, I was looking for a more vintage, rugged look as I already have a polish black boot.

Love these shoes! My second in a row. Great style and very comfortable for day's use. Arch support is weak but there's nothing that Dr. Scholl's insoles cannot fix. Very stylish shoe.

Beautiful boot that fits generously. Slipped a bit on the heel for me, so returning.

Second pair in just over 2 years. Stylish and comfortable. True to size. I recommend using scholls insoles though for a bit more support for work day.

Perfect size and feel. Love this shoe but lost them on an international trip. Waiting for it to get back in stock - different color.
