Very beautiful shoe and good quality. But it needs to be either higher or lower. The top of the boot stops on my ankle bone which makes it extremely uncomfortable. I kept it for a while because I really wanted to like it but I would be afraid that it would stay very uncomfortable. Sadly, I am returning it.

Based on other reviews I ordered a half size smaller than I normally would and I found these shoes too narrow. They were also a bit dressier than what I was looking for and the bottoms had nothing in the way of tread. I planned to wear them int eh winter and they looked really slippery. They looked cute, though.

The reviews said these ran large, but I did not find that to be true. I had to return the first pair to get the right size. they do run narrow, so if you have a wide foot, I wouldn't recommend these boots.

I have been looking for a nice short winter boot, I live in a snowy area. I read a lot of the reviews and they stated this shoe ran big - I wear a 5-5 1/2. So I ordered the 4 1/2 -5. Still too big. It is sized more like a 6.

For starters, I bought these in the brown nubuck. I really wanted to like them because they looked classy in the online photos; however, I did not care at all for the upper faux textured leather on the back. It looked and felt cheap, much thinner than it appears in the photos. Also, the boot felt wider than normal. I bought these in a 39, as I am normally a size 8.5, but these felt too wide and flopped around when walking. Very disappointed, but sending these back. Love Zappos, as always, who make everything easy -- from ordering, to receiving, to returning when necessary.

This shoe runs small. I returned them and am not ordering a larger size. since the pair I received had areas on both shoes where the dye seemed to have been rubbed off so that the shoes already looked like shoes after being worn many times before. I ordered the grey.

I bought these a year ago and while I love the style, the leather is extremely fragile and thin. It looks rich and high quality but got snagged almost the first time I wore them. Under the snag it is white so it’s really obvious and it just keeps getting worse. I just walk 10 minutes and take the subway - nothing too strenuous. For that amount of money I would think they would last a few seasons but they are really looking terrible. I’m really disappointed.

I wanted to love this boot, as I ordered the fun design with the faux snake skin design on the back. So much more interesting than some of the plain boots I own. But it really was cheap looking. The sole seemed OK, but the leather and other materials of the boot were thin and they felt like poor quality materials. Returning them as I am very disappointed ion the quality of this boot.

Such a shame, one of these boots was gorgeous, silky soft leather, and perfect, the other boot was ugly hard leather, it was like wearing two entirely different styles. The style is gorgeous but the quality was terribly inconsistent. Very disappointed to have to return.

Material felt cheap, and the color was awful.

Euro sizes hard to gauge. Size 35 more like a 5 than 4.5

I didn't even bother trying these on. The grey color is definitely brown. Not grey.

I ordered the blue bootie and I am a size 11. I ordered the 42, thinking it may be too big. First, the shoe arrived scuffed beyond belief for it to be a new shoe. Second, I could not get my foot in the shoe. Extremely narrow and I do not have a wide foot. Straight back in the box they go to be returned.

the color is literally NOT EVEN CLOSE to the picture. The photo looks navy and the boots are a periwinkle color.

These boots are supposed to be navy but they are a dull, brushed blue. Very unattractive. Thanks!

Strange shape, not stylish, made my feet appear much bigger....punched painfully at the toe....size 11 felt tight. I’ll be returning

What total garbage! They look and feel beautiful but the boot is glued to the sole and already separating (like I could fit a pen in between). Both boots are like this!

I am disappointed. These boots are nice looking, but I bought them September 1 and I wore them for the first (and only) time on October 11 to a baby shower so I walked to my car in my garage, drove with them, walked around on someone's carpet for two hours, and drove home and walked into my house from the garage and now the leather looks splotchy and wrinkly, almost like a very thin top layer of the leather separated from the underneath layer of leather. It looks ugly and cheap and for the price I paid I am really bummed. I see now (October 16) that these boots are no longer available on Zappos.
