The leather on these is very soft and it's a nice design. But they ran a bit big, don't have much grip on the soles (essential in winter), and they weren't as comfortable as I wanted.

Pretty boots, but not enough arch support and too narrow for an insert. Had to return.

Loved these boots. The brown is a beautiful color and they seem very well made. The style was just what I was looking for. I always wear a size 7 and ordered the 37 in these. Unfortunately my heel kept slipping in the boot even with thick socks. Sadly had to return. Seems these aren't the boots for those who have skinny heels.

I loved the way this boot looked, and liked how it felt on my feet. However, I was surprised to find the outside zipper difficult to reach and use. That's enough for me. I always wondered why boots have inside zippers; now I know. Other than that, it's a comfortable, attractive, simple bootie that I'd love to keep if only... Also, although the sole's synthetic, there is absolutely no tread on it so it'd be slippery in snow or ice. Not good here in CO.

Pros: lightweight & flexible shoe/boot. Nice leather and good looks. Non-skid sole. Versatile shoe for work or play. The sole is thin, but has more padding than my Fiorintini + Bakers. Also a bit less padding than the Borns. But I'm happy with these and they'll be improved with inserts. I don't find that these run large at all, they seem true to size.

I was looking for simple black boots that were comfortable and went with everything. I am usually an 8. I ordered 38s in black and 39s in navy (very nice, deep color). 39 is my usual size and they were too long, the 38s fit well. My right foot is a solid 8 so felt slightly claustrophobic in those, but my left foot is slightly smaller and felt great with lots of room. They slip a little in the heel but if you have long, narrow feet you will like these shoes.

These were so cute when I got them. They looked like very nice quality when I was trying them on, the problem was making them fit. I wear a size 12 and the 11-12 fits more like an 11.5. I could fit my feet in but it was way too much pressure on the back of the heel and very uncomfortable. It was a shame, I really wanted to keep them too! Anyone who wears a size smaller than twelve I recommend them!

The quality is surpeb!! The fit was too big at the ankle with little support.

I have a not narrow size 10 foot and these were dramatically too small in the toe box. Otherwise, they were beautiful with great leather. Note they are a VERY Dark navy.

Loved this boot. Soft leather. The toe was so tight I had to return it. It shows a rounded toe, but it had to be made for a super narrow foot.

These shoes were butter soft and beautiful but I am 7.5 and they were huge on me. I had to return them and have yet to reorder them as I live in a different location and don't know what I will be wearing.

The "Wine" color just looks brown. If you're looking for a true burgundy, this is not it. These are just nothing special IMHO. I'm not keeping them since I ordered some others that I like much better.

Loved the look, hated the fit!

This bootie is just OK. There's nothing special about it to make it worth the price. And it felt odd to have the zipper on the outside of the boot. So back they go.

Beautiful dark gray Nubuck. Size was true and a little roomy which worked. They looked like they had been worn a couple of times, and the snakeskin material ( not real ) was wearing off. Had to send them back, but really liked them .

I just received these booties today. I'm disappointed the navy is not very dark, not as dark as appeared online. There's very little cushion but they are flexible with a soft leather upper. The problem for me is I have a high instep and it feels tight across that area on my feet. They are cute! and probably soft and comfortable for most people but they unfortunately won't work for me.

I bought this one size lower than recommended based on other reviews. The length was good size down, but the shoe is narrow and little too narrow for my feet sized down. It is beautiful, and I would have kept it, except the Navy color is not as dark as pictured. I planned to wear these with navy tights, and they are so much lighter than the navy tights it looks weird. Would be great with just skinny jeans, but I need it for dual purposes.

I bought these in the navy lizard, they are pretty to look at, but not that comfortable. Very thin material, not even sure if it's leather! It runs on the narrow side with a long toe... I didn't feel much support either. Not really worth 170.00 more like half that! We're all different so one may like it! I like real leather sole also.. Thank you, Sheila B.

Too small for my size 12 feet. Disappointed they don't come any larger.

These are beautiful, comfortable leather boots. I am a size 9 and I ordered the 39 because of other reviews and they felt a smidge tight. I'm sure the leather would stretch if I was keeping them. The reason I am returning them is because they just look too "comfortable". I like a boot with a little bit of an edge and these are very round toed and just not the least bit sleek looking. I just didn't feel the love. Very nice boot. Zappos....now they have an edge! Thanks Zappos. I will keep looking on your site for the perfect boot.

I've owned a black pair of these for 3 years and love them. They are comfortable, stylish and good quality. For the past year I've ordered 6 pairs in various colors and have had to return all of them because of quality issues, from rough and/or loose stitching to tears in the leather. This is so disappointing. Hope they can improve this!

Nice looking boots. They seem to run large both in sizing and overall style. Not much padding. But they look very cute. I am sending them back because I like a snugged fitting boot.
