I walked in these for 30 minutes and it was immediately obvious how poorly constructed they are. I could already feel the heel collapsing on the inside of the foot. Just no structural integrity at all. Which is too bad, because they’re definitely cute.

My feet are too wide for these

I wore these boots for 8 hours at work at a desk and the heal color was already rubbing off and the platform of the boot. I only notice when I put my leg up in a meeting and seen the beige color coming through the black. So basically walking around in an office on carpet and to and from my car within hours that happen. I called Zappos to let them know so it didn’t look like I had them for weeks and only received them the night before and first time wearing them.

I've been collecting suede Basel booties for years and always grab them on sale when I can. This most recent pair in the color Scarab did not disappoint. GORgeous color. Same amazing fit as always - a solid 1/2 size too big so I always get a 6.5. BUT this review gets 1 star for overall satisfaction because the quality control through Prime is t e r r i b l e. The booties were in good condition/not worn that I could tell BUT there was a dirty pair of socks stuffed in the shoe obviously from the last person that ordered & returned them. Totally disgusting. How hard is it to check the returns before restocking and sending out to another customer?? This never used to happen before Zappos was sold to Amazon Prime. Quality of customer service has been going down for years. Very sad about that. I'm on the fence about exchanging the booties... but the next pair might have a worse issue considering keeping if I can get over the ICK factor. So gross. Do better please.

Very hard and uncomfortable. I returned these. The toe is super round and high.

Very unattractive! Ugly round toe and strange looking from the front. Bad shape all together! My grandmother might like these, I DON’T!!!

Cute shoe, however, tight across the toes and slipped up and down on the heel. Did not work for my feet.

The boots (booties) were far too narrow and had to be returned.

The stain on the heels has started to wear off. Very poor quality.

Lasted 5 months of light wear before leather scuffed badly right in the front making them unusable.

The boot was cute, but VERY hard on the soles of my feet. There is no way I can wear these for any length of time. Have to return them.

I love the look of this boot. However, I am sending them back. They were ordered early December to give as a gift in early January. When given as a gift we realized that although the box indicated 6W (what I ordered) both shoes inside the box were 8W. I will return and place a new order trusting I will get the true size.

I thought the material was leather but it is not. It is manmade. That did it for me. They were too narrow and I knew they wouldn't stretch. I have a wide toe area and they were not wide enough, unfortunately.

Leather is poor quality. VERY thin and rubbed off on inside of the heal. Never experienced this with any other pair f shoes. These were not cheap but only wore them maybe 10 times. Disappointed!

Fit and size after I traded them for a smaller size was good. But the heal area is not good leather around heal is peeling off. Color is wore off after wearing only 2 times. I would love to mail back for a refund. Look for a different pair that will have no issues

They arrived used. They were disty, dirty, and scratched up.

the boot fit, but there was something inside was rubbing on the back of my heal that was very uncomfortable after only taking one step. I will be returning these.

Very hard on the inside sole, cheap looking leather finish, loose in the ankle, heel moved up and down inside when walking. I wear a size 12. I am stunned by how positively reviewed this boot was. It just didn’t do it for me at all! I was so hopeful.
