I bought a pair of these booties in the snakeskin first, and loved both the look and feel. They are very comfortable, however they do not have much (if any) arch support. This did not bother me as I typically don't need shoes with good arch support. I recently bought the same boots in the black leather, and at first, was just as happy with them. However, as I have worn them much more often than the snakeskin boots (for obvious reasons) I am very disappointed to find that the leather is much softer and therefore much more prone to scuff. I have a particular bad scuff on the side of one boot that makes them unwearable for work now as they look ragged. I would expect the leather to hold up better, as I have only owned them a short amount of time and only worn them moderately. The black leather booties have stretched as well, so they fit a little more sloppily on my feet than I would like. If not for the scuffing issue, I would give these boots 4 out of 5 stars, as I do love the look and comfort.

While this bootie was the correct size, it felt small in the toe which was very hard and pinched my toes. Had to return them for this reason.

The fit was good. Ordering Wide width gave my feet ample room. However, the leather was incredibly stiff and hard. It would take a lot of uncomfortable sessions to get the leather around the front shin to be bearable. Likewise, I had read about the tendency of the heals pealing. My heal already had a nick with a small amount of the adhesive chipping away. Sadly, I am returning.

These are very cute, but unfortunately are quite wide where they stop at the ankle; and with only zippers -- so no ability to adjust the fit -- they just didn't feel right. Returning them.

These are beautiful shoes! They look just as nice in person as they do on the website. Only issue is that they run EXTREMELY small. I bought the wide width because I wanted to make sure that I could wear socks with them and not feel uncomfortable. It didn't work and I had to return them. I will be getting a larger size though!

I wanted these very much, and the size seems good, but they hurt my feet. I'm not sure why. I wore them in the house for about 1/2-hour and decided they hurt too much. Maybe it's my feet, not the shoes!

This bootie fit everywhere except the toe. The height of the toe box is too short. It pressed on the top of my toes to the point of discomfort. I returned them.

I want to love these red boots, I really do...and maybe my ankles are just too narrow. The top of the boot is just too big and looks weird to me. I do have small ankles so they might work for others. The color is awesome and they feel pretty ok - but I can't get past the wide opening at the top.

Ouch. These were just hurt all around. Returning.

I usually wear a 13M, I got a 13W and hoped they would have a bit of room. With socks, they are a bit tight. Hoping my feet are just puffy. I will try them again in a couple days before returning them.

The upper front comes up too high. When I attempt to walk, it rubs against my leg. I just received them today and I will be returning them.

The Basel looks great, but they're tiny! I normally wear an 8.5, but these boots looked too small coming out of the box, and I could hardly get my feet into them. They're cute enough that I may reorder in a larger size, but I'm nervous about how poorly these fit so I might go with a different brand.

The zippers were a nice detail and the leather is super soft. I wear an 11 and ordered the same. The fit was perfect in the toe box and loose in the heel area. - not my typical problem. The leather was a little too shiny for my style and the ankles too wide. Going back.

I’m shocked at the positive reviews for this bootie. They were anything but comfortable. I am true size 7 and these were crazy tight with a thin sock. And my feet are narrow! Truly painful. Back they go.

I am a size 10 wide, and there was no way I could wear this boot's 10 W. I'm not sure if I'll need a 10.5 or 11. It's disappointing because it's a cute boot and was hoping to take it on a trip but there isn't time before I leave.

These were super cute, soft inside and out, but there was not a much padding on the toes and it felt like non on the heel.

I ordered the 10W (my normal size) but my toes felt jammed. I'll try ordering the next size up and see if that makes a difference. Cute boots otherwise.

I really like this boot. It seems to be well made and is good looking. However, I purchased the boot in 5 different sizes; none of them fit. Many reviews stated the boot runs small, so I ordered a half size larger than usual and in a wide width. They were huge. I exchanged them for my normal size 9.5 and they were still huge, even in the regular width. I really liked them, so I tried again, ordering a size 9 in both widths. The 9 regular was so small I couldn't get it on and the 9 wide was too big. I'm tired of trying. All 5 pairs went back. Zappos is great though; returns couldn't be easier.

Loved the look of the boot, but I ordered an 11W and it was super narrow in the toe and didn’t seem to be the true length of an 11. Really wish Lucky would make their shoes true to size.

These fit well. Despite the pointy toe, they don't pinch and have a bit of cushion inside. Unfortunately, after only 3 wears, the outsole of the tip of the toe and the rear of the heel are showing wear - the color has come off, making them look worn already, and I worry that they won't hold up. Weirdly, whether I wear tall boot socks or short socks, they pull my socks down when I walk.

Looked so cute but not very comfortable for me. The shaft goes up higher than I expected and the ankle opening was big so I kind of felt like I had clown booties on. Color was ok. A little cheaper looking in person than online. I’m returning them sadly. Still looking for the perfect bootie...
