Cute shoes but felt extremely tight and narrow. The heel is also an issue you feel like you could easily roll your ankle wearing these.

The Bordeaux color is more like a slightly redish brown than a wine color (lighter and browner than on my screen). The pair I received had a wonky dye job where there was a line across the toe box and an irregular light colored splotch ringed by a dark line right at the vamp on one shoe and a dark splotch on the other. Also these shoes run very narrow. I couldn't put them on with wool socks and even with thin socks they felt tight across the toes. The synthetic lining felt cheap and like it would make my feet sweaty. Return.

CUTE CUTE CUTE! But not very stable. The bottom of the boot is rubber and very good, but the design of the heel makes it tip very easily. I have pumps with higher heels that are more stable, I don't wear them very much because they are unstable, and I certainly don't want a pair of boots that aren't stable. They look adorable, and would go with every outfit, if I didn't have to walk anywhere.

Super cute! Wide was not wide enough.

Such cute shoes, but my feet disagreed. They felt a bit too snug across the toes and awkwardly low and loose on the ankle with far too much slide in the back of the heel.

The merlot leather is very "flat" and does not have a rich depth of color that I expected. It looks a bit like vinyl or pleather.

These are suede boots with hard leather on toes. Shoes arrive like suede was worn out in places. I guess it's like new jeans with holes manufactured in them. Toe box a bit tight.

I put these shoes on the day I got them, and have worn them all day almost every day since (about 2 weeks). They are extremely comfortable. I'm thinking about getting them in red, too. If you like to wear thick socks with your booties, you might consider getting a wider size than you usually wear. I just got thinner socks to wear with these and all is well.

The picture was so cute and I loved the look when I saw them. Was very disappointed when they came. True to fit and comfortable but the leather was so low end that I just couldn't see keeping them for the price. They looked like I had them for 5 years and well worn.

This boot has two personalities, and as in life--that often doesn't work out that well. I so wanted to love these boots as Cobb Hill's footbed is so nice and squishy and comfortable, but as with other Cobb Hill footwear, the sizing is off. I ordered them in a wide though I don't usually wear a wide based on other reviews, but the front of the boot is narrower than many medium/regular widths would be but the heel area is way too wide and the length runs long. The treatment on the toe that makes it shiny on an otherwise matte material drops these down to the seriously casual zone as they look as if they had gotten wet, damaged, or shiny from overuse whereas the rest of the boot could have qualified to wear for work or other "middle-range" uses. Sadly, based on the fit these are unwearable and I had also tried half a size smaller as some had suggested but the narrow toe made that not work either. I was entranced by all of the great reviews though now see one posted that does address some of the structural issues that made this not comfortable so--at a minimum--be prepared to try a couple of sizes and if you have a foot that is narrow in front and very wide at the back the wide width might work for you. The regular width may need to be half a size down and is just for those who have very narrow feet in the front.

Cute shoe however I agree with other reviewers saying that the heel seems to be poorly designed. you feel like you could easily roll your ankle wearing these. Also in my opinion the laces are a bit large and it takes away from the sleekness of the shoe. Also these shoes felt very small and tight and I don't have wide feet so I had to send them back.

Very comfortable shoe. Extremely stylish, too.

I am sorry I did not return these shoes.The toe box is very narow for a wide and the arch does not conform to my feet in the right spot . They hurt with every step. Also the shoe laces shredded within a month or so of wearing . Very disappointed in this boot.
