I wore them once to work and found them comfortable right out of the box. I don’t know how comfortable they will be walking for many hours. I found the back of the shoes heel ankle area a little loose, needed to somewhat keep tightening the ties . Overall I’m satisfied with them .

Cute boot, but I wish they had gone a little further with the wing tip design, it's just at the heel and I would much prefer if they had more of that hole punch detail. I will have to return since they are tight for me, I wear a double wide and the 10W did not work, I think I could get away with a 11W (as I often have to do), but I would keep them if they had more of a wing tip look to them.

ordered 10W so I can wear socks and soooo big, heel slipped a lot. Contacted Zappos, wonderful customer service and we downsized to a 9.5 W as I have several Cobb Hill shoes in this size. 9.5 W was tight and hurt. Called Zappos again and ordered a 10M. Tight, trying to stretch out, as I am sure the leather will stretch. Stuffing all the paper packaging into the shoe and it is stretching. Feel like Goldilocks, too big, too small. If I hadn't already bought and worn about 8 pairs of Cobb Hill, (since about 2012) I would have moved on. Since they were sold to Rockport, they haven't fit the same. I wonder if they changed the last the shoe is built on, changed factories? When New Balance owned them, everything was great.

I have a fused foot & find it hard to find cute comfy shoes that fit my fat foot. I normally wear a 10 sometimes a 9 1/2. I got these in a 9 1/2 wide. Way too big got a 9wide & should of got just a plain 9 or 81/2 wide. Very cushy & comfy. I work standing on my feet for 10+ hours a day & after about 8 they start hurting but I think that’s just my feet. Would order again just smaller size

very nice and confortable shoe, a little bit too small, I wear a size 8 so I ordered it. will be returning it and trying the 8.5

I wanted boots that would keep my feet warm and dry and happy while being stylish enough for work. These are just the ticket. They were comfortable out of the box, with excellent arch support. My feet have spread with age and pregnancy but the regular width in the size 10 was perfect. My heel slips a little bit but thicker socks should take care of that. I’m almost 5’ 9” so I don’t need (or like) a lot of heel. These are just enough height to make me feel glamorous and the shape accentuates the length of my legs. I took off a star because I wish I could tie the laces to look like the picture. They are regular laces which tie in a largish bow. I am looking for no tie laces but the merlot colour (which is gorgeous, by the way, just like the picture) is hard to match. Overall I like these so much that I may have to get them in another colour.

This is the second pair of this style I've purchased. Last year it was the navy and, because I liked them so much, I bought the merlot this year. They are very comfortable and stylish.

Cute boot and it fit ok but I was looking for something a little dressier looking.

I have small feet, size 5. I bought one pair is redish and then the second in black. I have difficult to buy a shoes that fit me well and comfortable. These pairs fit me very well and can walk with low heels. They are not in high quality, such as leather inside, so on, but comfy is more important.

I was SO excited about these boots. The comfort of the sole did not disappoint. Pros: Short heel easy to walk in Comfortable for all-day wear Cute heel Cons: Sides are stiff and rub ankle bones Laces... cumbersome and less cute in person Look kind of dated in person* *One person said they look cheap, another said they reminded her of shoes a wicked witch would wear. Not quite the comments I'm looking for, but really it was the sides rubbing on my ankles that bothered me. I don't want to *have* to wear tall socks with these to avoid that. To me, that negates part of what makes booties cute. Since I couldn't comfortables wear these with skinny jeans or dress/skirt without taller socks - they are going back.

I found these shoes really narrow. I would not classify my foot as wide, as I do not own any wide shoes. I ended up ordering them in wide to try, and they are a little roomy.

Comfy but very poor ankle support. I like them but my feet wobble while walking!

Agree with another reviewer that the laces kind of ruin the sleek bootie look. Would be more stylish with a side or back zipper. The photos don’t depict the laces tied in a bow the way they would be if you actually wore them, giving a false impression. Ultimately I wasn’t happy enough with the look to justify the price, so I returned them. As with my other Cobb Hill shoes, the comfort and quality were excellent.

These booties are so comfortable! I live in a downtown area and don't own a car. I've walked miles in them through city streets and rain and even, once, on a vacation trip, snow! (Sorry for the enthusiasm, East Coast peeps, I'm a Californian; snow is novel.) The interior padding is great, and even though I'm a flats girl through and through, I hardly noticed the heel except to admire the way it appears to lengthen my legs and narrow my ankles. This bootie looks great with jeans and good skirts. It's definitely a fall/winter style, more suited to stockings or tights than bare legs. It's a little formal and old fashioned, but I really like psuedo-Victorian aesthetic. The only thing I don't like are the laces. I've been spoiled by booties with zippers, and find myself annoyed in situations where I have to put them on or take them off more than once a day.Overall, I'm glad I bought these!

I wanted so much to love this bootie! The Aria bootie is very cute, but runs a little small for me. Or maybe the cut is just not right for my feet? Normally anything Cobb Hill in an 8.5 to 9 is perfect, but this bootie in an 8.5 was tight on my toes and the heel cup was too short so it dug into my heel in a weird spot. I went back and forth on keeping it and trying to stretch out, but at this price point it just has to be perfect to keep. Maybe I'll try a 9, but the 8.5 is going back.

This is my first time trying a Rockport shoe. The "black" is an interesting rustic leather. Has an almost oil-rubbed, not quite suede finish to it. Very worn looking. Interesting metal button detail on the back heel that I could see my klutzy self catching on something and snagging off. Sadly, these shoes went back as the wide width was fine, but was too much room in the length. Was surprised by the hard plastic heel. The shoe would be much more comfortable with a softer heel.

The size was right but it didn't feel comfy around my ankle, as it curves into towards it. I admit I am finicky and don't like things rubbing, I get blisters easily. I have two other Cobb Hill boots that I love, this has the same foot comfort level as those, just not the same ankle comfort. I would have liked more interesting colors. Returning them.

As much as I loved the overall style of this bootie, I sadly had to return them. When I slipped them on and wore them around the house, I found that the heel felt a little unstable to me and knowing me, at some point that means I would probably end up twisting an ankle in these. Other than that, the sizing felt fine, they run a little wider than what I would call a "D" width. Normally I would be an "E" width and these fit me fine. Arch support seemed pretty good. One other thing to note though, they call the color on these merlot. To me, that means a burgundy wine color. These were actually more brown than wine. Maybe I got an incorrect color?

I felt like it looked like an older lady style on me...even though I am an older lady! The stone color and leather is excellent...so beautiful! Just wish it looked better with my jeans...just need a different style. Otherwise it is a beautiful shoe.

Really cute and works with so many outfits. Comfortable to walk in. I have, on some days walked for hours in these and still felt good at the end of the day.

I am very pleased with these shoes so far. I am on my feet during the day a lot, so needed something with more support that was also stylish for the office, and these seem to fit the bill. They were comfortable immediately - from the moment I put them on. I wear a wide width and the width was perfect. The only negative is that I am almost always a size 7 in every shoe/brand/style, but these ran a little big. Next time I will likely order a 1/2 size smaller. Overall I am very happy with this shoe - I can be on my feet all day, have the support I need, and be comfortable. I will definitely order another pair of Rockports - they seem to be worth the price for the quality you get for them.

I ordered these in a wide width and the toe area was still too tight for my wider toebox. The narrow heel made my foot wobble from side to side when I walked. Very cute but not a good fit for someone with an average/narrower heel and a wider toebox.

Great boot, I have wide feet so I purchased a 6.5W and it fits perfectly, I have a few pairs of Cobb Hill shoes and I am very happy with the quality and durability plus they are very fashionable.

My first priority is heel height, I've had surgery on both feet with a surgical post in big toe so it doesn't bend much; heel height must be less than 2" for comfort. Additionally I wear orthotic inserts for high arches. OK, now about the shoe! Nice soft leather, I purchased the stone color in an 8 1/2 M. The way the shoe is made gave me some arch support, no I couldn't wear my orthotics but still felt OK. They were comfortable out of the box, I know this sounds goofy, but I did a fast walk for 20 min. on the treadmill and they were comfortable. My one complaint is the way the heels are set, if you have a problem with pronation this might not be for you.

These shoes are adorable, and go a long way to making big feet look smaller. That being said, I could not get a good fit, probably more the fault of my feet than these shoes. I need a narrow width for my heel, and a medium width for the ball of my foot. Also, the leather was relatively soft, except for the heel of the shoe, which was quite stiff and rubbed my heel uncomfortably. Much to my disappointment, I had to return them.
