Typical dansko feel with added comfort padding under your feet. Prefer this over the professional clog. Less sloppy feel as well.

These shoes are really comfortable, but it took me a few walks around the house to be sure the fit was right. It helped to read the description on the Dansko webpage, which explains the right fit. There should be a little room. The patent style is a lot of fun!

I am a surgeon and have been wearing Dankso clogs for work since I was a medical student (approximately 20 years). They were life-changing for me at the time as I couldn't believe that a "hard-soled" shoe could be more comfortable then a cushioned sneaker. And then I thought, well doctors are typcially smart people, there must be some reason that they are all wearing these clogs. And I have never looked back. In fact, they are basically the only shoes I wear with the exception of sneakers. I do think that if you do a lot of walking, these are probably not the shoes for you as they are quite heavy and because the sole does not bend can lead to plantar fasciitis. But if you are standing for long periods of time - think chefs, surgeons, pharmacists, hair stylists, retail, these are the perfect shoe for you. They distribute your weight perfectly on your foot and also encourage you to stand with good posture (which is good for your back). The only reason that I am giving these particular clogs 4 stars is that they are a little too wide for me to wear around (outside of the OR) and I can kick them off my feet easily. I have had this problem once before with the XP style. The regular professional style does not seem to have this issue and are perfect every single time that I order them (which is about every 6 months).

A fine shoe, but the bulky removeable footbed was so high that it jammed the top of my foot into the shoe in a really uncomfortable way. Unfortunately, without the footbeds, there is no arch support. I thought these would be a step up from the Dansko professionals, but I guess I'm going back. The color is beautiful though, and on my smaller foot the shoe was very comfortable.

First time trying the ProXP. Love the stability and comfort. By the end of the day, the top was putting painful pressure on the top of my foot, but I'm hoping this is an issue that will resolve itself as I break them in.

I have had my dansko xp shoes for less than a year now. The comfort is excellent but I got my shoe is slowing chipping away. I have a textured shoe and each hexagonal texture area is coming off. I love dansko but for the price wish the texture pattern would have held up better!!

I bought a size too big so I'll have to size down, but after trying them on my tennis shoes felt lacking in support. Very cushy and don't feel as heavy as I thought.

Lighter and sized better than regular Dansko professional shoes. I'm a size 9/12 to ten and I wear 41 in the regular Danskos so I ordered size 41 and had to exchange for a size 40. As usual, Zappos was fabulous about the exchange. Gave 3 stars for comfort as it takes a while to break em in, and they gave me blisters on day two.

I have had many Dansko clogs size 38. For some reason these ran large. I returned the and ordered a 37. They a just a bit snug, but I'm hoping to wear into them.

I thought I would try the XP since my feet have decided to get incredibly fussy. I've worn the regular Professionals for more than a dozen years and really like them. I thought the removable footbed was a great idea and was hopeful they would make my feet even happier. I ordered the same size I've always had (albeit, my Professionals date back before the Dansko/Sanita split). The width was perfect and the length was just a tiny bit longer than previous shoes. Not enough to make much difference at all. I just didn't like the feel of the insole. I wore them inside my office for a couple days, but couldn't get used to it. I got the Color Pop Patent and have to say the colors were beautiful. So... back they go. I'm so thankful Zappos is so understanding when it comes to finding that perfect pair of shoes!

Loved these shoes except I found the heel for me was unstable for me. I guess I'll have to go back to wearing the professional style.

Why does Wide also have to mean longer? I decided to order a wide because my old pair of size 39 Danskos were a little (width) tight in the beginning, but length was fine. The wide was way too long, and yes, certainly wider in the toe box. Order a size down if you want to go wide.

I have six pairs of Dansko Pro clogs and LOVE them. This was my first XP pair. I loved the extra cushion from the XP insert, but these shoes are VERY narrow. My feet were aching just after wearing them inside for five minutes to try them out. If you have a really narrow foot, then these should work for you. Guess I'll have to stick with the regular Pro clogs.

I have a standing desk at work, and these shoes are very comfortable for that. Also great for medium-length walks. (Haven't taken them out for a long walk yet.) My only complaint and this probably has more to do with my own clumsy sense of balance is that I do sometimes feel like I'm teetering a bit in these tall shoes.

I have several pairs of Danskos...all of them are size 37. Ordered these in a 37 and they are just too big, falling off my feet. Maybe the Pro XPs run big? Returning for a 36...otherwise very cute new print.

First pair of Dansko XP. My original first Dansko I had for 8yrs with no problems normal wear of using them for 8years. After a year of wearing the XP they tore in the front where it staples(Dansko says they are suppose to last up to 10yrs)The staples in front of the shoe came undone on one of the shoe. This was very disappointing considering I had my original one for 8yrs. With no issues. The shoe itself is very comfortable and I was happy with it. The shiny patent did rub off fast which was also very disappointing. I had the black patent and it rubbed of mainly in the front of the shoe within months. My coworker had some ruby patent ones and hers rubbed off in wks of purchasing it. The shoe itself is ver comfortable and wore it to work everyday till the darn staples came undone. I expected my new pair to last longer than what it did. Dansko is known for their quality and it's not a cheap purchase so I expect the Dansko quality of wear and tear like I did with my first pair. I also recently bought another pair of XP to replace the torn ones and these ones feel pretty flat. Usually when I try on the Danskos you can immediately feel the support from your toes to your heal. All the supports are all in the right places. These ones felt pretty flat. I have worn them for a wk or 2 now and am thinking of returning them because I just don't feel the grooves where they should be and its giving my feet some kinks here and there at the end of the day. Not sure what's going on with Dansko co. If they don't get their crap together I will not purchase another Dansko. At this point I'm skeptical about buying another pair anyways because of the experience I've had already with the 2 new ones. Dansko quality is not what it was because of the manufacturing issues they are having.

I wanted to love this shoe. Unfortunately I am having to return. I am assuming that since these are each handmade, that my left shoe turned out to be a lot more snug than the right. I am normally a size 7-7.5. I wear an 8 in running shoe (supposed to size up on running shoes too), so I ordered a size 38. Took some time to stretch out a bit, but after a few wears my right shoe feels fantastic. Heel isn't touching the back, my heel moves up and down with every step. Super comfortable. But after this much time my left shoe hand bugged. And actually the top of my left foot after wearing is red and bruised. My heel also doesn't touch the back, but the top of my foot is so snug it hurts so bad! I'm afraid of ordering a 39 because I feel it would be way too big.... I will return and try again. Hopefully the problem isn't the actual shoe size, but just that my hand made left shoe was slightly different. I guess that's the issue people run into buying these online. Fingers crossed for the next pair in the same size.

I have worn Dankso clogs for 15+ years, and have owned dozens. However, I must say, that each pair fits differently, and lately, their sizing is off -- I can wear their 37 in some of their clogs, and need a 36 in others. Frustrating because it makes no sense and I end up having to return several pair before finding a pair that actually fit. For what they cost, they should have accurate sizing.

These are shoes preferred by medical personnel, particularly those who do procedures that require standing in one place for long periods of time. They are ridiculously comfortable for standing for long periods of time as they are very supportive without being soft or squishy. It's like standing on a floor that's perfectly molded to your feet and helps you put your body into good alignment. The soles are a very dense rubber that is molded to look like wood -- far more comfortable than the wood clogs I owned many years ago. While these shoes aren't exactly stylish, I think they are far more sophisticated than Crocs or other slip-ons worn by doctors. I got mine in black patent leather, and they are pretty cool! I usually wear a size 8 women's shoe, although sometimes I'm a 7.5 (sandals, some dress shoes) and sometimes I'm an 8.5 (athletic shoes). For me the size 38 is just about right. It's maybe a little too big, especially since I have really narrow feet, but I think a 37 would be too short. These shoes are meant to be a bit loose -- although they have a back, your heel is not meant to press against the back. I'm still a little clunky walking around in them, and I definitely couldn't run in them, but they are so comfortable when standing. I have very narrow feet, which is a problem with any shoe, and I'd say these run a bit wider than normal since they are supposed to have a loose, unconstricting fit.

They seem to be good, sturdy shoes. I felt some of the mild pain at the top of the shoe, but after one week it went away. I wear these every day and there are no problems. I should have gotten 7½ rather than 8, perhaps. They give wide feet so much room that I did not need to get the larger size.

I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. These shoes aren't exactly comfortable like my moccasins at home, but they do seem to reduce my foot fatigue by the end of the day. They're heavier than you'd think. Easy to wipe off after any number of things get on them and impervious to those same things. Overall 4 stars because again, they're just kind of hard.

Great shoe. Will take a few "wears" for your feet to get comfortable but after that, these shoes will amaze you with their support and quality. Worth the investment for your feet and back if you are on your feet a lot. I wish the soles were a little quieter, they do feel and sound a little clunky.

These shoes are almost magical as far as the shock absorbing insole cushion. I am 8.5 wide and I bought a 39 wide. It is the right size, but my little toes on my left foot are feeling a little cramped. But it accommodates my high instep. It is a great shoe!
