I love Dansko's XP. More cautioning then the regular professions clogs. I did find with this shoe I have to wear 2 footies because I have a narrow heal. These are so stinkin cute and I get tons of compliments on them.

These shoes are true to size. I had first heard that you should order up for Danskos but that's not the case for these. I appreciate the extra cushion in these- as a chef who is on her feet all day.

I AM LOOKING FOR AN EVERYDAY COMFORTABLE SHOE. THIS ONE SEEMED TO FIT THE BILL BUT IT RUBBED THE TOP OF MY TOES. I REALLY LOVE THE SHOE EXCEPT FOR THE TIGHTNESS THAT I FELT. MAYBE I NEED A BIGGER SIZE? I AM CONTEMPLATING ON ORDERING ANOTHER SIZE BUT I FEAR IT WOULD BE WAY TOO LONG. I MAY KEEP LOOKING FOR A WHILE. I APPRECIATE ZAPPO'S ALLOWING ME TO KEEP THE SHOE FOR A WEEK OR SO TO WEAR AROUND THE HOUSE TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK. IT WOULD BE PRETTY DEPRESSING TO SPEND THIS KIND OF MONEY AND NOT BE ABLE TO COMFORTABLY WEAR THE SHOE.

I love the XP Pro Danskos for work. The tooled pattern make them more fun than plain leather.

THE RIGHT SHOE FELT AS IF IT WERE NOT THE SAME HEIGHT AS THE LEFT ON SO I RETURNED IT. I THING I WILL TRY IT AGAIN AND HOPE FOR A MATCH. I THINK THE SHOE MIGHT BE THE ONE. I THOUGHT I HAD ORDERED IT BUT I ORDERED ONE THAT IS JUST A BIT DIFFERENT. OFF TO ORDER AND HOPE FOR BETTER RESULTS!

I have a higher instep, and these fit too tight across the top of my foot.

Here's the thing, the preset size issues don't really work with this shoe. First, I purchased a size 10.5. It was the correct length for my foot, so that's not the issue, but this shoe comes with arch supports, and apparently I have tall arches. So it pinched so much I straight up could not wear the shoe. I removed the arch support, and it fit perfectly, but I was worried about wearing the shoe without the arch support it came with. But again, the length was fine, so I decided to return the shoes and reorder the same pair, but this time in wide, even though I've never worn wide shoes before. The new shoes came, and the wides were definitely better, so I wore them out, however about 10 minutes of driving convinced me that my arches were still too tall for these shoes, as they were pinching and agonizing. I finally hurt so badly that I pulled over and ripped the arch support out of the shoes. Now, the shoes are a bit too wide, however to be fair, they can totally be worn without the arch support. Technically, I should have returned these and gone back to the original size, however I'd worn them so I figured it was too late, so now I'm wearing them as being slightly too large, but they are quite comfortable. Overall, I would recommend them, but if you have tall arches, be wary about the arch support. You may either want to swap what comes with the shoe for something thinner, or just do away with it entirely.

The insole is comfortable, however, they are much heavier than the regular Dankso Professional. These fit like a wide, so if you have regular width feet, order the narrow.

Not slip resistant enough for the restaurant business, will have to return. I have a regular pair just like these and I love them!

Fair warning. If you are a wide width, these will not fit. They are ever so slightly larger than the standard width Dansko Pro XP. They are also shallower in the part over the instep, so if you have a high instep, they will be tight there, too. The base of the shoe is exactly the same as standard width. Finally, if you are curious, these ARE NOT the new XP 2.0. Dansko's are wonderful, and that's why I have been wearing them for hospital work for 17 years. But these are not a true Wide.

Glad I gave it a few days. I'm pregnant but got my normal size 7 (37) in black box. The first day I wore them I was super-bummed because the rolled top dug into my top foot and I thought I'd have to return them. But I waited a little bit and wore them into my carpeted office again and the second time it didn't hurt anymore. The Pro XP are lighter and I'm glad I chose them instead of the standard other because these don't feel heavy to me. I like the style, I was a 90's teenager, I like big clunky clod-stompers so I'm satisfied.

Loved the color of the shoe, I usually wear a size 38 but was too big. Exchanged for a size 37 and fit a lot better. Unfortunately when they shipped my return it was in plain patent black, but I don't think this same shoe is still available in my size. Hoping to try it out with orthotics this weekend

First pair of Dansko shoes I had tried on the pro version at local shoe store and found the insole to be too hard for me. XP was recommended for an insole with more cushion. Ordered 2 of the same size from Zappos (thanks for free returns) as the hand stapled shoes can have different fits. One pair was perfect. Returned the other as it was uncomfortable and I did not need two of the same pair. I wear them twice a week to work. There was an adjustment period when I gradually increased the amount of time I wore them. The patent black is great. Wish there were more fun options in the size 35.

I really liked these but the pair I received was defective. The top of the shoe was creased and bubbled. Almost like someone had repeatedly crouched down while wearing them even though they are brand new. Sadly, I had to return them and order another pair. Even more sadly, there wasn’t an option to exchange the defective pair so I have to pay $30 more for the replacement and lost out on my $5 reward as well. There was much more arch support in these then in the typical Dansko professional. I believe these would have been even more comfortable. Not sure on the size—when I ordered another pair I also placed an order for one size down as well to compare.

I'm a former waitress and bought my first pair of pros 8 years ago for lower back pain from standing up all night... so worth it! Now I'm a medical student and continue to use the same pair. Just decided to try the xp's for cuter patterns and am surprised at how differently they fit! I wear a 40 in the professionals and the 40 in xp's are huge! Like an inch longer huge. They basically fall off my feet. I ordered the 39 after to compare and it's much closer to the fit of the 40 professionals, but seems a little more narrow. I'm hoping the toe box will stretch a bit and break in because then the 39 xp will be perfect. The soft insoles are so comfy, but I also don't mind the harder insoles of the pros. Anyway, my advice would just be to order a couple sizes and maybe even both widths if you have bunions like me.

I love Dansko Professional and own 4 pairs! I purchased XP model and am less than happy with them. They run bigger and even when I exchanged them the fit just wasn't correct... There is something "off" with the instep, I believe. I have a myriad of issues with my feet and back as well as my knees r/t rheumatic condition; I am a nurse by profession. Due to my physical limitations, shoes, in general, are a BIG deal but more so when it concerns work. Dansko allows me to do what I love longer. The XP model, however, does not, in my opinion, measure up to the regular Professional model. Stick to what works, I say.

I love my old Dansko, but these are very narrow in the front and hurt my feet. I never wear wide shoe, but will reorder these in a wide to give them a try. Hopefully, they will work.

I loved these shoes right out of the box, and, 6 months later, they are still very comfortable to stand in. I work in a hospital, and my only complaint is that they are harder to walk in than my Klogs, and I have to walk a lot. Will probably rotate them.

I usually wear size 12 women. I bought this pair in size 43 and they ran way to big. I went to a store and I try then 41 and they were too tight so I ordered a size 42 this time. I can feel my big toe rubbing against the shoe when I walk, I am not going to be able to tolerate them for 12hrs daily. I have to send them back.

I am a registered nurse who works 12 hour shifts. Since I am on my feet the majority of the time, I wear support stockings with my clogs and rarely have sore feet or back. This is my first pair of Pro XP after wearing the Professional for the past 10 years. I have been pleased with the Pro XP and would recommend them (along with support stockings.) It is important to note, clogs are hand stapled and sizing is unique to each shoe, so they may fit unequally. In the past I have ordered two or more pairs and tried several on to find a pair that match closely.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs since the 70s and have always loved them. Now that I am middle-aged, though, I need a wide width and Dansko does not make a wide style in its classic backless clogs. I considered men's clogs, but they don't come in a small enough size. The only styles that come in wide are the clogs with backs. If I wanted shoes with backs, I would not be looking for clogs. Still, after three years of looking, I finally gave in and tried the clogs with backs. I have to admit that they are comfortable, but I still wish they did not have backs.

Love the colors and the sturdiness of the shoe. I've been in nursing for 25 yrs and have never worn Dansko's. I thought I'd give these a try, but was a little disappointed. They were too big so the arch was in the wrong place which made my feet hurt. I'm a size 10-10.5, so I ordered size 10.5(41). They were too long and too wide. I will be exchanging and hope the next pair work.

Working in the hospital and on my feet all day these shoes are great.- little extra time to get used to with the heavy heel and the forming to your feet but overall I am very happy. I used to wear tennis shoes and that didn't cut it anymore. Pleased with my purchase.
