I have difficult to fit, wide feet. The toe box of these shoes was roomy, they fit in length and width but were too tight across the top of my foot.

these shoes are quite comfortable, the uppers are soft leather with a nice quality feeling. My only issue is the soles. The material is kind of a harder plastic, not very grippy, in fact a little bit slippery on tile and others smooth surfaces. The grooves in the soles pick up small gravel, which is hazardous to my hardwood floors.

Nice looking shoe, but runs small. I would have ordered half a size bigger which would have been perfect; only problem is, the shoe doesn't come half a size bigger than 12, next up is 13.

Not sure what all the rave reviews are about. I have worked in the restaurant industry, spending 8-10 hours a day on my feet, and used to swear by shoes from Born. But, like most other companies these days, it seems like when their brand gets popular, the quality suffers. These shoes lack any real significant support or comfort - it feels like there is any substance to the mid-sole; disappointing.

Very comfortable and lightweight, and they look great for business casual. But, as noted by other reviewers, the soles split after a 6 months. I've had 2 pairs, and both split at the sole's flex point. Since Born's customer service is practically non-existent, you'll pay $90 for a pair of comfortable, stylish shoes that you'll throw in the trash after 6- 12 months. Born! Get you act together on these and change the material used n the outsoles!!

I loved these out of the box but they are junk. Only lasted about 5 months before the sole started splitting and wearing a hole in the heal section.

Ok fit Sole split open after moderate wear for a month

Shoes fit fine and are comfortable to wear. However, I've only had them for 7 months and the soles are wearing through and cracking. Born product quality has gone downhill, spend your money elsewhere!

Stretched out after 3 months

Fits great.....due to the texture of the upper leather it will be very hard to apply polish.

After 6 months the shoe sole has split.. Garbage materials. Do not buy or plan on wearing them occasionally to avoid the bad sole materials.

I returned these shoes because they rubbed painfully on the back of my ankle. Other than that they fit well and were comfortable. The style is a bit more casual than it looks in the picture.

Tried on with a winter sock, felt very tight on width, length adequate (toes not hitting end of shoe). Leather on upper (instep) made a large crease that effects the look of the shoe.

I too am a victim of having the soles crack on both of my Sawyers, left first then the right not long after. And there is hardly any wear on the soles because I never wear them out of the house! A big bummer because I do like them. Cannot recommend and I would hope Born would fix this problem.

Overall fit and style is very good. The sole, however is a major design flaw. Much like other reviewers, the sole on mine also disintegrated prematurely, only after a few wearings.....BORN needs better QC.

This used to be a quality brand. I got this pair about a year ago. I thought, hmm, rather flimsy compared to past borns, we'll see. Sure enough, this pair has blown the seam connecting the upper to the sole and the sole cracked on the forefoot long before that. Total junk. Another formerly great brand cheaping out. Very disappointing.

My husband loved the shoes initially but after only 3 months of wear the sole cracked (in between the tread) on the first shoe. Within a week, the other one cracked too allowing water to leak into the shoes from the bottom.

I received this pair of shoes. I opened the box and noticed that the shoes did not have any of the normal packaging, shoe stuffing, cardboard...ect. I took the shoes out and was disappointed that the shoes appeared previously worn. The shoes had all the creases of a worn shoe. The inside heel markings were slightly rubbed out appearing like they had been work for some time. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures.

Bought these for my husband. Upon opening the box i knew these were going back. The uppers look worn and would be easily scratched up. More suede than leather. They looked like they had been scrubbed to look unworn.

These shoes are not holding up well after 2 weeks color on toe is already wearing off.

The quality of the leather uppers used in these shoes is shockingly poor - far below what is standard for this type of shoe. Shame, because otherwise these shoes are quite nice.

I would give this shoe "Zero Stars" if offered the option. The absolute worst shoes I have purchased in the last 10 years.
